  1. I don't think the burden of proof lies on us. It lies on you to prove it is.
  2. I don't know anything about the chat, and wasn't commenting on that. I was commenting on my opinion of Jerry Sullivan, which was formed over years of reading his stuff and listening to him.
  3. John, I know it is in bad form to trash people in your field, but Sullivan is on the same talent level as Bob Matthews. There's some really good ones out there (including you) so I disagree with the previous poster's generalization about "our journalists", but ugh. Sullivan. Ugh.
  4. Sully is nothing more than a weenie with a keyboard. If you think of it that way, his behavior doesn't really bother you because it is so true.
  5. Who needs SDS to take the server down when we have you? :-)
  6. Well you win then, you piece of ****.
  7. :-)
  8. Nobody is a bigger piece of **** than me, and don't you forget it. Sheesh, people getting uppity!
  9. Agreed. I hardly post any more, and don't visit often. That is especially true in the offseason. But life goes on. I think part of it is that the site is so stable now it really can't be Rosened any more, so there's no fun in teasing you about it. :-) That's really the only reason I kept coming. Love your tag line. "Attention planets of the solar federation!"
  10. Or it could be !@#$s like you.
  11. No kidding. It is like a batch of conspiracy theorists, but even more whiny.
  12. For all the whiners, what makes you think someone would trade for a guy who is threatening to retire? Why would someone trade for a guy with a salary that big, who still can't decide if he wants to play? Why would someone trade draft picks for a player with all those things stacked against him - especially if he wants to play for only one year - if he plays at all? All the mouth breathers who think Schoebel actually has trade value at this point drive me nuts. Think for a minute, will ya?
  13. A trade was off the table because the guy said he wanted to retire. Who wants to trade for a guy who wants to retire and who has a mind that is elsewhere? A guy on the verge of retirement with a big salary won't get many takers.
  14. bull ****. Compare Wood vs. Maybin and tell me who is better. Wood speaks the truth, and there's something to be said for that. Maybin is a useless POS at this point, and Wood started 8 games and played pretty well. Maybin? He made a tackle once, right? Wood has every right to question the performance of Maybin, especially after the moron cheapshots one of our best players.
  15. Refreshing. After the bluster and buffoonery of Gregggggg Williams, the mediocre but likable Mularkey, then the very likeable but cream puff Jauron, maybe we've found the actual thing.
  16. So the moral of the story is if you are in Florida, bring a sandwich.
  17. What a great idea! Let's trade away our best player at a thin positions! Brilliant!
  18. I do. Grammar is important. Being able to assemble a sentence makes people think you know what you're talking about.
  19. Seems to me that there was no single problem. DJ was one of them, and not because he was a bad guy. You don't fire your OC and release your LT two weeks before the season. That's just a recipe for disaster. That is all DJ. You also don't mess with personnel the way DJ and Brandon did. You can't have upheaval on the O-Line through an entire offseason and that was what was engineered by the front office, probably with input from DJ. You also don't mishandle the quarterback situation so badly that it not only becomes bad, it becomes dysfunctional. Awful. So it clearly wasn't all DJ's fault, but he was certainly a factor. The fact that Brandon didn't get fired is disconcerting to me. He clearly had a role in this mess. It is good that he is supposedly out of the football decisions, though.
  20. Seems accurate to me. Those rankings are to be expected in the first year of a new coach and after a few years of drafting in the wrong areas.
  21. Training camp fodder? Are you insane? He's facing friggin suspension! Think before you post.
  22. People who drive high are extra paranoid, so they are extra careful. That is unless they are eating a sandwich while they are driving because they are so hungry.
