This isn't a bad problem to have given all the Bills issues. It is nice being able to ask that question, when before the answer was a clear "no" to the quarterback question. I'm much more comfortable with "maybe."

Um, yeah. I'm not a runner, that's for sure. Slacker? Maybe. For sure. I'm the official post-race ice-getter. She's done the ice bath thing for the past 3 or 4 marathons and she swears by it. She also swears when she's getting in, but yeah, good advice for sure and I appreciate that. Besides being incredibly proud of my wife, the thing I'm looking forward to is seeing and cheering for the US Marines who run the race. With full packs. In boots! Amazing. People talk about golf widows, I'm a marathon widower. But she qualified for Boston and ran a 3:45, so I think it is worth it. Not bad for a 36+ year old! Sorry for bragging about her a bit. BTW - I did make sure to wear a Bills hat during the Boston Marathon. I did get a few good-natured comments.

I'm sure I'm annoying some people here by posting this in this spot, but I've annoyed people before. :-) Anyway, if someone could tell me if they know of a place to watch the game against KC this Sunday close to Alexandria (or close to a train station close to Alexandria) I would appreciate it. My wife is running the Marine Corps marathon on Sunday and we're staying in Old Town, and if I'm able I'd love to watch a bit of the game while she's recovering. She's certainly not going to want to stand anywhere!

Ugh. I wouldn't say they killed the team, but those drafts might have been the final bullet. I like Marv. I think he's a quality guy & coach, but holy crap he botched those drafts. Also, his collaborative methodology allowed DJ too much input into the draft. I've heard that DJ had more say about the draft than people suspect, in particular selecting all those corners and then Maybin.

Excellent point. Excellent points, all of them. There isn't an *intelligent* poster on the board who can refute any of it. Yeah, Ralph screwed up. But yes, Ralph is a good guy who DOES care. And yes, fans can be insensitive bastards. And to those who say Ralph is just looking for ticket sales, let's get real. The guy is 92 and soon he will have no use for more money he can't spend. I totally agree with you, but I think we've seen what it takes to get FAs here, and even if the Bills offer a gazillion dollars, a team that isn't rebuilding is more appealing at a lower salary.

Good moves: Cutting Hardy Letting a wishy-washy Schoebel walk away honorably Drafting Spiller Retaining Fitz Signing Cornell Green (I kid!) Not a lot to love, but some good decisions. This is year 1 of a multi-year rebuilding process, so I'm looking forward to progress over the next few years.
