  1. Lindell was a great Bill. Let's show a little class for the guy, OK? Sheesh.
  2. No suggestion should be made regarding picking someone up without choosing who should be cut in the same position to fit him.
  3. I think this is an excellent question to ponder. PEDs make your body capable of more than it was designed for. Perfect example is Tiger Woods in golf. There's been pretty wide speculation that Tiger Woods has taken PEDs. His doctor Anthony Galea has been busted buying them. A few years later, Tiger is injured, Then injured again. Then injured again. Add to that his strange behavioral issues, and boom. Not only that, Tiger isn't a guy with a big frame. Anyone who sees him up close can see how small his frame is, and probably not meant to carry the muscle he's tried to put on. Same for NFL players. Add extreme collisions to the mix, and there are tons of injuries.
  4. WNY really is a great place to live. Maybe not to party and sow wild oats, but to live and raise a family it can't be beat. I would prefer shorter winters, but we really don't get hurricanes, tornados, plagues of bugs, dangerous animals, traffic, etc.
  5. There's a big difference between telling it like it is and always searching for the negative angle. D-bag Jerry always searches for the negative angle, no matter what.
  6. I think there's a difference between an NFL vet QB and a rookie, as well. That will completely change how you implement an offense.
  7. You mean the play where the Cheatriot was hugging him in front of the refs, but they ignored it? The only real answer to the question is, "Which time was that? There were multiple." I just don't understand how the Cheatriots get away with cheating and the Bills don't.
  8. Maybe, but you could say the same thing about Byrd and Gilmore.
  9. Seems about right to me for now. As a team that hasn't really won much in a decade+, with a new scheme and coaches and upper management, how could they be ranked higher? As soon as the Bills actually do something, they will be ranked higher.
  10. Maybe he injured his groin on a date.
  11. OMG - why do people want to pick him up? He's a crappy quarterback. We already cut two of those, so we don't need him.
  12. In. That picture is a little slice of heaven on a crappy day. Thanks Jay!
  13. Our punter is not a rookie.
  14. What a dumbass. Moronic drug laws aside, he knows the rules and shouldn't break them. Yes, I understand it should be legal and agree, but is it worth ruining a career over? The answer is no.
  15. Possibly, but I'd need to reschedule some work shizzle.
  16. Don't think he's been there yet this year. But he's my favorite golfer. He's no d-bag like tiger.
  17. Unless it is a grade-1 tear, he'll be back by the last preseason game at the latest. My wife just injured her hammy while running a Duathlon. If it isn't a severe tear, rest is the best remedy. Hers is a medium severity one, and will not be running for 3 - 4 weeks. With all the technology the pros have available to them, Stevie might even heal quicker. BTW - my wife still finished 1st in her age group because she is tough as hell.
  18. Blast from the past. Makes me shudder! I still remember Chairns or whatever his name was from the newsgroup days. I'm kinda old.
  19. It is exactly the same as naming a team something like, "The Washington Darkies", or "The Washington Blacks", or even "The Washington Negroes" There was a time when Negro was an acceptable term - around the same time the team was named "Redskins." Times change, society becomes more sophisticated (mostly), and we realize the errors of our ways. Changing the name of the team doesn't mean we forget about heritage or history, but it is a representation of how society has improved. We don't denigrate groups of people any more the way we used to when racism and bigotry were more accepted, and that is a good thing.
  20. OMG hilarious, especially if he is anywhere near the QB position.
  21. Whatever it is, we shouldn't speculate. Whatever it is, we should hope for his speedy recovery. Not many players have done more for buffalo post- career than Jimbo. Not only that, he was an awesome QB. So enough of the pessimistic speculation about drinking, etc. Good thoughts, please!
  22. "I'm on a boat!"
  23. Imagine that, Norris the zealot supporting Tebow. Gee, never saw that coming.
  24. Very upbeat - especially from him. I still think he's an arrogant d-bag and an awful "journalist." I understand that it is probably impossible for ESPN to find someone the caliber of Tim Graham, and having to replace someone as good as Tim is difficult, but please. How does Walker have a job?
  25. +1. They grade drafts on how self-validating they are.
