More proof the league is rigged for the Pats****
DC Tom replied to peterpan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Aren't there markers on both sides of the field, though? Did they move both? The chyron still said 3rd & 6, even after the marker was moved a yard. The yellow line followed the marker, though. So do we know this materially affected any call on the field, or is this akin to the stadium timekeeper messing with the unofficial and irrelevant game clock, which isn't impactful because the official time is ultimately kept on the field? What is distressing about the above isn't that "the Cowboys had an yard added on a single drive." It's "what if that play had come down to a measurement?" That the marker can be move at all calls into question the validity of any first-down measurement performed. Next time a QB is denied a first down on a sneak on 4th and inches, how are we supposed to trust that? -

Only Hunter Biden would be caught up in a scandal in that dump. What a moron. -
I don't think - I hope not, at least - that such a decision could realistically be applied retroactively. I mean, technically the Constitutional provision against ex post facto laws applies to Congress, but I would hope the principle is more generally recognized such that it wouldn't apply to striking down the Delegation Doctrine.

You just know they've been sitting on that for weeks, if not months. -

I want to see McDermott give this answer in response to a question from Jerry Sullivan. -
Sounds great. What do you feed them to?

Old Navy seems to be responsible for a lot of the low-end douchenozzley fashion silliness. Hey, Old Navy...no matter how hard you try, fleece jogger shorts and a fleece hoodie vest over a long-sleeve textured gingham shirt is not going to be this fall's fashion hit. Stop pushing your garbage on the rest of us.

Shaq's been solid, if unspectacular, all season. He's reminding me of Phil Hansen - the sort of player that'll never be an All-Pro, but that you can rely on to consistently do the job. A good team needs a lot of players like that. Murphy...the only time I've noticed him the past few weeks was in blown coverage that had me saying "Oh yeah, I forgot about him...why is he dropped back in to coverage?"

That's the car of someone who does 10 mph under the speed limit in the left lane with his brights on. All it's missing is one of those stupid "truth" fish.

So's ugly, particularly when it's on a giant billboard.
