You argued for throwing money at the educational system, that ultimately funds the corporate elite that buys the elections of the people that fund the educational system. And your argument is "if the electorate were smarter." Which you argue comes from increasing funding for the educational system... This is what "you're an idiot" means. Not "I disagree with you." But "You're thought process is so clearly and obviously warped that I can't agree or disagree with you." Or, as Wolfgang Pauli once told Lev Landau, "What you said was so confused that one could not tell whether it was nonsense or not."

Except if the corporate elite buy elections, all the education in the world isn't going to impact the results. Particularly when the corporate elite have also bought the educational system.

Think about how these statements don't work together...

The "cult" - on both sides - is maybe 20% of the nation, each. You'll never get evangelical Christians or vegan trans college students to support censure...so what? Pandering to the Rick Perrys and AOCs of the country is what's caused this mess to begin with.

For being a moron that can't conduct foreign policy without even avoiding the vague appearance of a conflict of interest. As consistent as I've been in insisting this "evidence" is ambiguous and nothing more than hearsay and interpretation through a priori assumptions, the other side of that is that Trump was too damn stupid to avoid creating the ambiguity in the first place. And don't forget the other of the two reasons I wanted Trump as president: to encourage Congress to do its job and exercise proper oversight. So censure him for being a reckless little man-child, and exercise the goddamn oversight already. And you probably could get a decent number of Republicans on board with it, I'll bet.

All the more reason I can get behind it: to make the base's pointy little heads explode.
