Woman takes baby out of car seat
apuszczalowski replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in Off the Wall Archives
I don't understand, with the cost of gas today, that can of gas is almost worth the same amount as a life! Is it that difficult to put the can in the trunk? Those cans when full don't tend to roll over very easily if your not driving like your in the Indy 500 or drifting around corners. I have driven with gas cans sitting on the floor of my vehicle and never had one roll on me. People also act like gasoline is such a volatile gas that could explode so easily. Gas is more flammable then explosive, it needs to be under alot of pressure and be hit with a spark to explode. its not like teh movies where gas tanks will cause a huge explosion that destroys the car. My first fear would be the tank spilling and catching fire, second would be the fumes getting out and making me dizzy, and lower down the list would be the tank exploding Those cans are a PITA, I bought 2, a larger one for my mower gas, and a smaller one for the mixed fuel needed for my trimmer and didn't realise they had those stupid nozzles that are enviro friendly and cause less spillage. I could never get them to work so recently I just broke off the end piece and theres now just a tube spout to pour from. Works much better -
I don't think its possible to ever get a true answer on this question. Its hard enough to come up with who was the best team in an individual sport league. Its nearly impossbile to then try and find which one was the best ever out of all the sports leagues. How can you compare the accomplishments of a hockey team to a baseball, or football team? You are always going to have someone throwing in a reason why a team either does or doesn't deserve to be there. Can you compare the game of baseball today to the game in the early part of the 1900's? Can you compare hockey from the original 6 era where goalies stood up the entire game facing shots that barely left the ice to todays butterfly goalies who face 90+ mph shots at the top corner of the net? Can Football with leather helmets and almost no padding compare to todays game with the armour they wear and bone crushing hits they put out?

They are assuming it was him, but they haven't been able to confirm that yet. All he has to do is come back to Canada, claim he is mentally ill when commiting the killing (or claim he was brainwashed into it like his rumored ex Karla Homolka did) and he will go to an institution where in a few years he will get supervised trips/outings out of the institution into public like teh guy who decapitated teh kid riding a greyhound bus next to him, and another guy who killed his 2 kids because his wife left him. -
No votes for the 2010-2011 (or 2011-2012) Miami "Dream Team" Heat or the 2011 Philly "Dream Team" Eagles?

Toronto Series Extension

You do realise that the reason why they have an almost non existent operating cost is because RALPH WILSON HAS NOT DEBT WITH THIS TEAM BECAUSE HE HAS BEEN OWNER THE ENTIRE TIME THIS TEAM HAS BEEN IN EXISTENCE AND THE TEAMS VALUE HAS INCREASED FROM THOUSANDS TO ALMOST A BILLION? Now I know that Buffalo and WNY is just overflowing with billionaires that are just looking to invest in NFL franchises that they can buy in cash and not have to take out debt for. You also realise that the NFL and its teams don't make much profit from the gate attendance, that money is part of the revenue sharing pool, the money is made in the sale of luxury suites to businesses and company sponsors. Of course none of this is based in facts, well facts that would support your theory that Buffalo is a booming economy that most NFL teams would be envious of and don't need to try and expand the market to include those lower class dirty Canadians that just want to steal the team away. I just wish that I didn't have to live in Reality and could live in the world were your "facts" come from -
"Bills fans are buying up all the tickets"

I did Indians/Reds game last May Day 1, then R& R HOF day 2. It was a great weekend trip. Drove up Sunday morning for the Ball game, stayed overnight downtown, then went to the HOF next day and drove home. Theres some bars and places to go hang out at night downtown, but it does feel empty on the weekend at times. Found it weird that nothing was really open until 10-11 am on Monday, so used to everything being open at 8-9am around here during the week. We walked around town and by the waterfront too. It really didn't have any different of a feel then Buffalo does, except the building are alot taller. I can't remember the name of the place we stayed at, but I think it was one of the name hotels wthat was in an old building. Maybe a 20 minute walk to the Browns stadium and HOF, 10-15 minute walk to the Cavs arena and the Ball field. Room wasn't expensive either I think we went there for lunch before the ball game, it was alright but not great. I think they screwed up my order, the fries were supposed to have some kind of actual cheese on them, but the ones I got were drowning in cheese sauce. I do remember a few weeks later seeing the same place on tv when tehy went there to film fans reactions to Lebron getting knocked out of the playoffs. I remember the place we stayed at was just down the street from a bar my fiance wanted to go to called Chocolate IIRC, were everything is chocolate themed -

Kelsay, Johnson, or Edwards, who gets cut?
apuszczalowski replied to TPS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Probably because theres a roster limit, and there are alot more positions other then DL that you have to have players to play. They can't just stock pile d-linemen, someone will have to be cut so they can trim the roster down to its limit -
you say that now, but when the Zombie Apocolypse hits, gues who is gonna be the most popular guy around? I guess I have a music collection, over 250+ CD's. Some might say I have a jeep parts collection, along with a hockey/goalie equipment collection. I still have a sports card collection from when I was growing up. I also used to collect Orange County and West Coast Choppers models. I have a bit of a hat collection too. Depends on weither or not the person looking to buy it is at the wrong end of the barrel LOL

Theres not an App for that? I would have thought the geniuses over at Apple would have come up with a fix for Fat Finger Iphone syndrome -
These seem to be on a pace of atleast one a day. You would figure that these teachers (surprising how the majority seem to be female, maybe because the males would be beaten and thrown in prison for life) would have learned that these affairs rarely are kept secret And Teachers are SUPPOSED to be of higher education.........

Apparently it also raises your body temperature to the point where its like your insides are boiling, thats why many remove their clothes and are found naked. Their body gets too hot and they are trying to cool down -
Bills/Toronto series extended 5 years
apuszczalowski replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Theres a difference between a $200 million dollar sale to one person for a sports franchise and facility, and an $800 mil to $1 billion dollar sale of just a sports franchise. Theres a larger market of people in the area that can afford to invest $200 million into a hockey franchise and arena then there is for people with the ability to invest over $800 million into just owning a team. By forcing a condition on the deal that any sale would have to keep the team in the area, that limits the potential buyers even more. But its fun thinking that we should be able to tell people with more money then us how they should spend their money, and what to do with their property/possessions -
Maybe he heard about the current opening on the Allen Wranglers and figured he had a better chance playing for them then the Titans? Why struggle to make an NFL team when theres a new vacancy with part ownership in an Arena league team, LOL

ALLEN WRANGLERS RELEASE T.Owens
apuszczalowski replied to CowgirlsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
When i first heard about it, I forgot he was playing in the arena leagues. Afterwards I wondered with OTAs starting for most teams, if he did some of this to be let out of his contract and have the ability to sign on with an NFL team. He showed he can still play, maybe not as a #1, but he can still contribute and be an occasional threat out there. Guess we will see if this ends his career or if a team takes a chance on him And I can see him being the NFL version of Kenny "Boomer Wells" Powers -

Actually, American Pickers and Pawn Stars have more to do with History then alot of the other shows they have on. Both deal with items from the past, and they do go into some detail about the items and their history. -
Toronto Series Extension
apuszczalowski replied to Homey D. Clown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thats what happens when you hold onto a team for as long as Ralph has, after purchasing it for what a few season tickets in Dallas would go for. Right now, with Ralph as the owner, sure he is making money because he has almost 0 debt owning the team. Unless the Bills can find someone with almost a Billion in cash that they have just laying around that they want to use to purchase an NFL team, the next owner of the team is going to have to go into debt in order to purchase the team. That debt is going to take away from the profits that the team curently makes and in order to make a profit, they will need to find additional ways to increase revenue. The point of this series is to try and attract more interest in the team in the largest market sitting next door to Buffalo and to show any potential new owner that the Buffalo area has ways of becoming a larger market to support the team -
Last Sunday I was at the jays/Mets game in Toronto and they had those too. I was going to get one but the lineup was way too long. I do remember getting one at DQ whan I was a kid, I think we had them in a cupboard for a while until my mom tossed them about 5-10 years ago, I wanted to keep one but they were tossed
