Bills or Jets...Who would you rather Be
apuszczalowski replied to plenzmd1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ah yes, Bills fan math. The only place where 6-7 is a better then 8-5 I would much rather be the better team who will be watching the playoffs from home rather then potentially playing in one. I hate the Jets, but I'm not dumb enough to think that the Bills are a better team.even their future doesn't look that bright considering a once very good defence will have to be torn apart so that the defensive genius can rebuild it back to where it was when he got here. -
Pettine: "Wilson not top tier."

Its ok, I doubt Wilson would put Pettine in the top tier of anything either........ -
Pegula's interference Freddy/Rex

I don't think he was as hot of a candidate as everyone thinks or the media made bit out to be. He was getting interviews, but most former HCs get interviewed when they coached somewhere for many years. But it seems the teams actual interest in him was overblown as it appears Atlanta and San Fran never really intended to hire him and Buffalo was the only team interested. -

holier then thou? Class is not going out and making a grand gesture in front of an entire stadium and millions watching on TV shoeing your love for the opposing team. Class is going out talking with your former teammates before the game and to fans in the stands. Was it class when he flipped off someone during the game? Or how about when he ran off the field before the clock hit 0 in the fourth? Or when he refused to speak to the media after the game when he was more then willing to talk all week. I'm sure his teammates wanted to fight hard for him to get him the win against his former team after he showed them all at mid field where his heart lies. I bet no one would have had a problem if Clay came out in Miami for the coin toss wearing his old Dolphins Jersey? -

Have you ever seen a player walk out in front of a packed stadium and do any kind of gesture like that to anything of the opposing team? Theres a difference between showing your respect to your former teammates and fans, or even him hugging the Eagles Owner, but the issue is making a grand gesture like that in front of all the fans, media, and his current teammates. Its about the time and place. -
Yup, most likely in a playoff game though cause that team is cruising into a wild card spot while the Bills fans that ran him off, (along with another coach Bills fans ran out of town) will be watching those games from their TV set along with the rest of the Bills team. stupid Jets organization, when will they learn that Buffalo was smart to dump Fitz and they were stupid for dumping Rex.

Normally I would agree and say who cares, but this was a bit of a slap in the face to the Bills and their fans. I have no problem with him having something in his heart for Philly, he doesn't have to despise the city or the team, but walking out to the middle of the field, in front of the entire crowd and cameras and kissing the logo of the team he is about to play against in his Bills uniform, thats a bit of a slap in the face to the organization that wanted you and is now paying you the big bucks. Show some class and shake the hands of some of your favorite teammates, go along the sidelines and high five and hug some fans, heck even go out onto the field hours before or after the game when its not packed with fans and media and take it in, but making that gesture just shows where his heart is and it isn't where it should be right now. -
well $100K for 2 weeks of work in a job you know is not 100% secure? I'd say it's a very good gig. I doubt he went and bought a house in Oakland or Denver, and in the case of Denver they may have even covered his living situation by putting him up in a hotel for his time there. Slot of the backup QBs and clipboard guys end up making good careers as coaches because of the experience they have watching and working with guys on the sideline so that good experience for the future. I would say being a starter or coach is worse because you have to look at a permanent temporary living situation, and it could all change at any time even if you were signed to a long term. As a depth/3rd string guy you know your situation can change week to week. Making what he did for 2 weeks is a nice deal that's much better then most 9-5 Mon -Fri jobs where it would take you over a year to make that much money doing much harder work

it's because there's little time left to the season that alot of injuries won't be healed in time to make it back by the end of the year. You might as well put the player on IR and bring in someone you can take a look at and help instead of wasting a roster spot on someone who won't be able to play the rest of the season. Also with it being near the end of the yeT and teams still in the hunt with banged up players already, lots of teams need a body to play now and take snaps while others are banged up so they go with IR so they can bring someone else in. Usually on the last few weeks, most role player guys have to either play hurt or go on IR if they get banged up cause teams don't have the space to hold them if they aren't going to be on the field. but you don't know if Spikes can contribute without knowing the defence. If this was the same defence as last year then yes he could step in and probably contribute, but with Rex's defence it doesn't appear to be easy enough that they can just get anyone and plug them in and contribute. And if they won't change and adjust the defence to suit their own players who are having trouble or issues with it, why would they change and adjust it for a guy who's been on the couch all season who they could have had earlier on their roster learning it? Obviously the front office or coaching staff aren't as big on Spikes as the fans are

MNF NFC Least Battle: Dallas at Washington
apuszczalowski replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
NFC east, AFC South, there are a lot of mediocre to bad teams that are still in the hunt for the playoffs and divisions this year..... -
It's tough to pick games this season cause so many teams have been up and down all year, especially in the NFC East where all 4 teams at one point have held the lead in the division and the basement at some point, and they are all hovering around .500. The Eagles went from getting destroyed looking like a nuclear dumpster fire last week to upsetting the Pats this week. The 'skins looked horrible to start the season to now looking like the better team in that division. I think this game comes down to how the Bills play more then it does the Eagles. If the Bills play like they can, they beat the Eagles no problem. If they play like the have done a few times this season in their head scratching losses, Eagles could walk away winners

That's good, hopefully it gets him a HC gig this offseason and out of here.

Josh McDaniels/Nick Caserio to Cleveland?
apuszczalowski replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It worked out so well last time they hired the hot coordinator from an AFC East team. The browns would probably have more luck just going without a coach or GM -
ColdPlay Gets Super Bowl 50 Halftime Performance

IIRC they are doing some show for the Superbowl the Saturday before the game, it might be for some CBS party. -

ColdPlay Gets Super Bowl 50 Halftime Performance
apuszczalowski replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
so they play that garbage /crap better live then in studio? so they play that garbage /crap better live then in studio? no, they are bad but would be an upgrade over coldplay. I get the joke, but seeing as how he's been out of the band for a while and they were recording and touring with Chester Bennington, they could have done it. I would rather watch Scott's corpse on stage for 10-15 minutes then have to be subjected to coldplay for any amount of time... For Fighters or any other arena rock type band would be great, but they don't care about the music, they want a special/stage show over a musical act. -
Rogers sold it well, and all the red would have seen is a hand up near the face and a head turn, but from the front that should never be called a facemask and that would never be called on over 3/4 of the QBs in the league. The problem most fans are having with the lesbians the NFL isn't the calls, it's the inconsistency of the calls where the elite NFL poster boys get a call that would never be given to anyone else. Does anyone really think if the team were reversed last night and that was Stafford instead of Rogers that he would have gotten the same call?

Who Has The Biggest Ego In The NFL ??
apuszczalowski replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lol, and they say it's the league making the NFL the No Fun League. Let them celebrate however they want after scoring a TD, they are having fun playing a game that grown men are coming out to watch and fantasize over playing computer games and pretending to be GMs. Is it any worse then the fans fist pumping and celebrating when their teams score or make a big play? Big celebrations over small plays like gaining a few yards or just making a stop or catch are pretty ridiculous, but scoring a TD, unless your team is down by a huge amount and the game is out of hand, should be celebrated and the players should do whatever they want. you forgot Ocho If your celebration involves props, that might be a little much....... -
Another Brady proposed rule change
apuszczalowski replied to BillsFan-4-Ever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
in Brady's view? Whatever happened when his receivers were injured would be called. taser football would be awesome to watch, I bet that would have made a good Jackass video.... problem is the league would have 50 pages dedicated to what can be considered a 'touch' and what isn't and it would be just as clear as what is called a 'catch' in today's NFL
