I believe they were about to give him and the GM extensions for what they have had to go through moving to LA with the team, then the mondaY night game happened against SF and IIRC, they decided to hold off on officially having them sign the deals for now.....

I was wrong, and I don't mind saying it..

This could not be further from the truth, Rex and his staff found plenty of ways to keep the wr's out of the middle of the field all game Oh, you meant the WRs on the other team................. -
Why we will beat the Cardinals
apuszczalowski replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Of course the Bills will win this game for the following reasons 1. Its an out of Conference game, beating an NFC team doesn't help as much as an AFC team or a divisional win 2. The Cardinals are a good team and for the week following it gives the Bills fans hope that they could beat the Patriots and be back in things 3. I further prolongs the Rex & Rob Ryan Show in Orchard Park....... If the rams could beat the SeaChickens today, the Bills can beat the Cardinals -
You think they would have to request it? I'm sure the NFL head office is making the call now to Kraft to let him know they are willing to work with the Pats and they are sure Brady has now learned his lesson so if he puts the NFL logo back on his helmet, he can come back and play Thursday based on good behaviour

Look at RGIII, they are saying 10-12 weeks for a shoulder injury

The myth of supreme importance of coaching stability
apuszczalowski replied to simpleman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The very top of the Patriots Coaching staff, and some of the lower ranked guys have stayed the same, but they have been through a few different co-ordinators over the years that you can't say the coaching staff is always consistent. problem with being good is that it also leaads to other teams poaching guys from your staff to take over on their teams. But with the HC being consistent, that usually means the philosophies and styles of play are consistent. -
and so much for that great bills defence that shut down the ravens offence......

Red Spray Paint Booths?

And hopefully thrown back at them, why would you want a new England Shirt and Water bottle? -
Actually, they talked about this on a radio show one day before the season and its actually quite impressive what a man named "Jim Bob Cooter" was able to do in such a short time to change the offence on that team. In the time frame of a Bye Week he redid the entire offence and actually had them improved on the field. Thats true, but the idea is that it can shake up the thinking around the team and sometimes wakes people up. You won't see a DC get fired and a team change its scheme from a 3-4 to 4-3 in season, but you may see a co-ordinator come in and use the players a littel differently and maybe dig into different areas of the playbook then what the recently released guy was doing. In the Bills case, sounds like the playbook and terminology will stay the same, but Lynn may use different areas of the playbook that Roman was leaving out, or may change up play calling from Run, Run, Pass to Pass, Run, Pass. This can help sometimes, just like he may decide that they need to run the ball more with 2 RBs in the backfield instead of one, or throw more to the TEs instead of screen passes to WRs (BTW, I am not saying the Bills are going to, or have done any of this stuff, just giving examples of how things could change while staying the same)

Bills vs Jets Second Half Game Thread

if the defence could stop anyone on 3rd down maybe they could get off the field and not be gassed too. 3td and long appears to be a gimme for teams to get a 1St against the bills defence..... -

I would still take tyrod over EJ, but that's not saying much. But hey, can't draft those QBs early, need to use those picks to draft Rex's defence players so he can take a top 5 defence and rebuild it back into a top 5 defence after a few years that will run HIS defence -

talent and time of course, Rex just needs more time and continuity, and more guys who fit Rex's scheme, he just needs a few more years to get the defence right -

it's simple, it's Rex Ryan being smarter then the rest of the world and having to have his world beating defence put in place..... -

but Rex just needed time and HIS players to runs HIS defence. Just give him more time to implement his defence and get more of his players here and the defence will be good again. Lol I will be offering my services to be OC for all visiting teams this year,my offence will be basic and easy, kneel the ball on first and second down, then run any random play from their play book on 3rd down, basically guaranting a 1St as the defence can't stop anything on 3rd downs...... -

Jerry Hughes trolling right along

nah, I noticed they looked weathered too -
It could also be that Felton and other gronk are such non essential players to the offence that they felt they didn't need Fulton for game 1 and figured saving money for other signings would be something they could get away with. Or maybe they felt Felton was someone they could let go to give him a chance to sign somewhere else and then when no one did they decide to bring him ba K and try to stash other gronk on the PS

similar to Trent Edwards......

Exactly, if he would RE-sign here I would trade him for bush, then have bush sign back in NO
