Roger G’s press conference today was a laugher. There’s nothing wrong with the refs. Yeah right- just like there wasn’t CTE or spygate or multiple other infractions he has covered up. I’m glad he is finally getting tough questions from the media. Summation: his product is flawed, the nfl shield is tarnished, and he is doing his very best to cover it up so that the gravy train can keep going. Judgement has come Roger

I don’t think games are scripted. I just lean on what Tim Donaghy, ref who fixed some games in nba, once said. His quote: I'm not saying the games are fixed, because they are not. But they definitely program and train these referees to go out on the floor, and look for certain things, to put teams at advantages or disadvantages, based on who's up or down in the series.

Case in point, one of my neighbors had the same last name as another neighbor a few doors down. He was a high school ref and someone was always putting envelopes of cash in his mailbox before a game. The funny part is when they would sometimes put it in the wrong mailbox and the neighbors would walk it down to him 😂😂😂. And this was on a high school level 🤔

My dad used to always tell me something similar, but it was usually refs and taking money 😂

Our game this past Sunday will live in infamy. Fans are finally seeing that the league is questionable and turning to social media and the internet to complain/boycott. Only takes a few calls to go a certain way to get a good story line/desired result. It brought up memories for me of past games where I saw this type of behavior. Here they are in no particular order: Super Bowl 37- Raiders/Gruden bowl, Super Bowl 40- Refs cause Seahawks to lose, Super Bowl LV: Tampa Bay Super Bowl win (only home team to play in home Super Bowl was during COVID 🤔, and Brady got a ring away from New England), Super Bowl 36- Pats spied on the Rams, New Orleans wins a Super Bowl right after hurricane katrina, etc… What questionable games come to your mind in NFL history?

I have one solution: I want to hear the conversations live when plays are being replayed between the head ref and NY league office on the broadcast. If they are just talking about rules, there should be no problem. Or are they talking about something else? I’d rather hear that convo live than Brady or Romo or nantz

Great post. I have a friend of mine who loves the Broncos and he simply said, “your team and mine aren’t NFL league office favorites”. Translation- we won’t get the calls in critical situations.
