  1. True. I know grown up, adult people that literally claimed to have laid on their couch for a day after the election too stunned to move. Also, pretty certain that we were supposed to be in a nuclear war started by the Cheeto-dust golem by now.
  2. Well, there'd be debate on it, but considering the person that comes in at #2 is now sitting in the WH, it'd be tough taking the title from her. And if it's strictly "despised" rather than disliked or distrusted, W might win that one. A whole lot of lefties absolutely hated him.
  3. So is Crossman the one who brings the hookers & blow to the coaches meetings? There has to be SOME reason he keeps getting retained, & it surely isn't the play of the special teams.
  4. RIP. Still to this day hate that he was the fall guy for the HRTF. That single move had a huge butterfly effect on this franchise & they STILL haven't recovered from it.
  5. Eh, losing in week 16 isn't as painful (though easily as sickening or worse due to who they lost to (#### the Fish)) as the inevitable (entering 8-7 the loss WOULD've been inevitable, especially when everything else ends up breaking right, just like '04) loss to the Jest would've been.
  6. If not for the Crusades it'd still be a 4 player game w/ each player having ~ 1/2 the pieces?
  7. See, now this is where they need Susan Rice. She got the story straight. AND said it with a straight face to boot.
  8. Let's hope. Otherwise, we won't see another peaceful transition of power for a long time.
  9. Um, Fast & Furious, & IRS targeting conservative groups just for starters. Not sure where you were going w/ the Bin Laden reference. Ambassador Stevens was killed on his watch as well.
  10. Pretty sure it's bound to happen during his presidency. If it doesn't, then good, but that would be surprising.
  11. As it always is. D's opposing R's = principled opposition. R's opposing D's = obstructionism. Just is the way it's always called. Will be interesting to see what happens when Trump proposes items the D's typically support but the R's typically oppose. Still hopeful (though not tremendously) that this presidency sees Congress take back some of their authority.
  12. Well stated.
  13. Hadn't realized Kaloyeros was tied in w/ Buffalo Billions, though should've. He's been hugely involved in state disbusements in Albany & more recently in Ra-cha-cha's/Canandaigua's photonics center. Major player.
  14. HockeyDB has him listed 6'2" 201. Had thought he was ~6'3" - 210.
  15. That & the "lifetime" ban on executive branch alumni lobbying for foreign governments sound like a shot at the Clinton Foundation.
  16. Image how much of a gimme they are when Carpenter's attempts are taken out. Must be more like 98%.
  17. There is also the issue that unless there are specific ties to GDP that it doesn't limit government spending, it just limits borrowing. Very likely there would be nothing to keep congress from pushing the budget up to 30% GDP as long as the crippling taxes are that high as well.
  18. True, they did seize on them. But they didn't capitalize on them. Unless you count gaining ~2 Senate seats (when the other guys had 10 more than you up for grabs), ~10 House seats & losing the Presidency, ~3 more Governorships,~ 3 more State Houses, & having the other party's nominee nominate at least 1 & possibly 3 SC Justices capitalizing.
  19. Did Alec Baldwin ever make it back from France? Would be a shame to see him have to go back into exile.
  20. Good question.
