Toublesome Stromboli shortage >>> toilet paper shortage It has been several years since Mrs. Lew and I attended the tailgate at Hammers for the home opener and she still raves about the stromboli !

The future Mrs. Lew and I saw this at Grand Central Mall near Parkersburg WV. She got her ears pierced at a kiosk place in the mall. The lady did the piercing and said to come back in two hours. We saw Jaws and my much better half to be came home with pierced ears.

Coach Jerry Glanville once said he cried 2 times in his life. The first was when he was hired to coach in Buffalo. The second time was when he left Buffalo for another coaching position.

I dont know about the other two, but I was able to see Luther Allison 2X in concert in the 1970's. Absolutely incredible. The first time he was the warmup form the Allman Brothers. ( side note, this concert was one week before Duane's death) Luther came back the following the year as the headliner. Saying guitarist X is the best of all time is silly. Just enjoy their immense talent

Its been two weeks and a couple of days. Mrs. Lew and I drove (combined) 800 miles a week to work, so we are now driving about 80 miles a week. Less CO2 emissions. Our coffee consumption has dramatically increased as we used to enjoy the coffee from our work places. I have been taking a 30 minute hike each day in our neighborhood listening to Golic and Wingo on the XM app. I have to find one of those arm wrap phone holders. We are watching our grandson about every day as his parent's work schedules have picked up. The lawn and our neighbor's lawns look great. There are about a billion YouTube videos. I have seen 4.2 million of them. We had joined a gym in late January and they are finally opening up. Just not the 24 hour schedule they used to have.

? to Bar Harbor Maine. There is a lot to do there and plenty of great eateries. And a couple of breweries are near by.

Summer is officially here in S WV. I turned on the AC yesterday. Typing this outside on the deck as the birds are chirping like crazy.

I have thought about a job on the golf course. Mowing grass is a thing I enjoy doing. Shooting in the 80's always happens. Then I tee it up on number 15.

Day 4. I'm bored. Calling work to see if they need any help.

Day one. Its 7:30 and so much stuff to do...Weed eater to get a workout this morning. Neighbors are at work so it is not too early.

My commute for the past 30 years was approx. 100 miles round trip. I calculated I drove approx. 700K miles in that time. Mrs. Lew and I drove approx. 800 mile per week. Our Exxon bill is going to be next to nothing. 2 rounds of golf (Sat & Sun) have been accomplished. 998 more to go.

I have been to about 25 to 35 games. Many at the Rockpile. My favorite event was when Jim Kelly's number was retired. Emotions at the Ralph were incredible.

Turned in the front door key today. YAY Mrs. Lew turned hers in of Thursday. We both were celebrated with lunches at respective work places. The office peeps know of my love for the Bills and golf, so I got 4 dozen Buffalo Bill logoed gal balls. And booze. Between us we got 4 bottles of booze including Crown Royal Reserve, Don Julio Tequila and 2 bottles of flavored moonshine (appropriate for WV) Cheers.

Trip to Mich in June to see King Crimson was nuked. Alaska cruise with grandson in late July was nuked. Myrtle Beach golf trip in early Nov is still on.

This a hoot. I remember cars with large trunks. We would ride in the trunks on a short trip to town. Or to the drive in movies on Military Road in NF. Mom and dad would pay for two. Somehow there were 5 of us watching the movie. Besides they made their $$ at the concession stand.

I had a Lawn Boy for 20 years . It was one of the old models that lasted, not like the newer ones that became cheapened by the changes in the parent corporations. One day it just fell apart.20 years ? Yeah I got my monies worth
