Last I saw, they were saying we might get a piece of it here in Boston on friday. I'm supposed to be flying to Buffalo at around 1 that day, so I think that just about guarantees that Earl will in fact hit the east coast.

I guess you can say that everyone knows that both Roethlisberger and Leftwich will start games at some point over the course of the season. The same can't be said for Leinart/Anderson. When putting the list together, that situation wasn't completely clear, so he combines them. But in the big picture, the vast majority of the readers are going to stop reading at the halfway mark, if they even make it that far. No one cares about the bottom feeders, which Arizona clearly has with either QB. Roethlisberger, being a big name that many people are looking for is going to get his own mentioning in the portion of the article that people will actually read. Drop him down half with into a combo with Leftwich and all of a sudden people never even see his name.

That's kind of strange because I was under the impression that decisions like that are up to the TSA people, not the airlines, so it will vary from airport to airport. I was a bit concerned at Christmas time whether or not they'd let me carry on a new pair of hockey skates and was told all of that.

No doubt. Kids can get to any of this stuff ridiculously easily. It's hard to go after anyone but the site if these people don't show their faces though. It sounds like Spikes' dumbest move may have been putting himself in a spot where he was easily identifiable.

That makes sense though. Roethlisberger and Leftwich clearly belong in completely different categories. With Anderson and Leinart, I doubt very many people care either way and they're both definitely in that bottom rung.

This one had me wondering: Why do teams even bother with that? Does splitting the QB out wide actually make the defense think twice about anything?

Reading the people who list the practice squad has me wondering. Can a cut player be offered a practice squad slot by multiple teams? If that does happen, do they then get to choose whichever team they want?

I'm a good 30 years away, so who knows where those years will take me (or if I make it that long). The idea of escaping from winter grows on me more and more each year though. If I move, I want to be right on a nice golf course so I can make up for all the rounds I'm missing out on right now.

Has there been any talk of how they would schedule the two extra games? I like the structure of the NFL schedule. You know who they're playing next year the second the season ends. I can't think of a structured way to take care of those two extra games. Something with the two in-conference divisions that you're not already playing against?

I don't believe for a second that even the WBC actually believes that garbage. There will be plenty of people out there though that agree with their anti-gay sentiment, but obviously not to the fake extremes they've taken it to.

It may be a crappy forum, but it still presents them with one. I'd much rather never hear their name mentioned ever again. That's the end game here, isn't it?
