  1. Nope, no fights since college. But dang, I feel we were real close in Jax in 2017 with that ahole sitting behind me, @Royale with Cheese, and @Boyst62 who kept yelling "DUUUUUUUUUVAAAAAAAAAAL" right into the back of our heads.
  2. I think the OT (original tweeter) is confusing "the 17th game" with "Week 17". Lots of us did that last year with WFT, assuming we would be closing the season out against Washington, based on the way an article stated it. He probably got a press release from the NFL confirming "The Bills will play @ LA Rams for the 17th game" and assumed it was week 17. But it's only that the new "17th game" will be against the Rams, and away in LA. We dont know which week it will be.
  3. I love that we have Taron locked up for another 3 years!
  4. Yeah, Pat and crew obviously didnt realize that was from Poyer's mic'ed up session. I think they were trying to use it to make a bigger point about private conversations being used against players... which is why his reaction is so great when they learn the BILLS are the ones that published it. 🤣
  5. I love the way he's breaking down the "leaked" video of Poyer hyping up the team, and saying it mya have been an invasion of privacy, and then his reaction at 1:45 when he finds out the Bills posted the video on their own website.
  6. Not just Daboll, Schoen, Daboll, and Trubisky to Giants.
  7. He is one tippy-tap to the helmet away from having to retire. And he plays in the interior of the line. It's a matter of when, not if. Need to get his eminent replacement on the roster now.
  8. You're not wrong, but everyone is secondary (pun intended) to Allen. As long as Allen is here, and leading the Offense to early leads, that will put pressure on opposing Offenses to pass, which makes our Pass Rush better, and our Secondary better (i.e. more pass break ups, more ints).
  9. Here's their biggest issue: McCorkle I hope they hitch their cart to that wagon for as long as possible.
  10. That's a lot of words to say "10 years", haha
  11. At least 5, more likely 10 years, easy. I am more confident than ever that Allen WILL bring the Bills at least one SB victory in his career. May not be this year (although I think it might!) but it WILL happen! The good news is, we can all start transitioning from suffering, battered fans who grasp at any shred of legitimacy, to just enjoying the ride every year. Go Bills!
  12. I aint defending the dumbass at all. He definitely made a number of bad choices if that's what folks are tweeting about this morning.
  13. I think Davis will be gone before we pick at #32 as well, but just saying. A month or so ago, I agreed that we would look CB early, and we still might. However, since then, our Defense hasnt missed a beat with Tre gone and Wallace and Jackson stepping up. Taron is locked into the Nickel spot, so we are good there. And already have some depth with Lewis and even Neal. Re-sign Wallace, and I don't see a need to spend a 1st on CB. I'd rather dedicate early picks to the trenches. Get WR and DB depth later. I especially don't think we need TWO early CBs. We're 4 good starters deep right now.
  14. I know nothing of this specific situation. Maybe he really whipped it out and was swinging it around. But my college room mate also got the same charge for peeing behind some shrubs on the walk home from the bar. He was in public, and it was technically out, so there is your exposure charge. I dunno. Just sayin. The Browns will never achieve anything with Haslam running the show. As we know in Buffalo, it all starts at the top. Haslam is toxic and will therefore always hire toxic people in some fashion.
  15. Sure, at the very least we can keep exactly what we have, which is finally starting to gel and click. But I do think there is room for improvement at OG, and certainly Center. Jordan Davis in the 1st, Best Center on the Board in the 2nd, and I think we're good!
  16. LOL, absolutely. We said the same thing in the group chat "He isnt injured, he's just embarrassed". Well wishes for Mario on a speedy recovery. Hope he's at least back by the Super Bowl!
  17. The unexpected emergence of Spencer Brown has been a top highlight in another great season full of highlights. Our OL needs some serious work, but that load on Beane seems to be lightening with Brown's development and the coaching decision to FINALLY start Bates. We've gone from needing 3-4 new OL, to maybe 1-3. Dawkins is locked in, Brown is now locked in, Bates and Feliciano bring a good competition to LG and general, versatile interior OL depth (not to forget about D Williams). Need to find Morse's replacement, and 1 or 2 more Guard prospects, and we should be ready to roll.
  18. Wentz is done. 2017 is so long ago, and on the other side of the play that changed Wentz permanently in 2019. Clowney lays a cheap, dirty hit on Wentz, giving him a severe concussion. He hasnt been the same since, can't make decisions, can't think on his feet. The hit scrambled his brains and has changed him as a player. A damn shame.
  19. Joe Schoen, Brian Daboll, and Mitch Trubisky all to the Giants, is my prediction. But agree with the thread that the Colts need a new QB as well.
  20. Even during all those winning years, there were ALWAYS issues selling out. It was always Ralph or Russ Salvatore that would swoop in at the last minute, buy all the remaining seats, and then donate them to a charity like the Boys & Girls club. Happened all the time. I'd even argue more often than not.
  21. The big difference is Bill is funny when he is mean, and is usually right regardless. His assistants all try to mimic the attitude, but don't have the sense of humor or underlying knowledge to go with it. https://theathletic.com/2889665/2021/10/29/its-fun-at-gunpoint-the-comedy-stylings-of-bill-belichick/
  22. Colter Bay and Gabe's Gate in Allentown are good suggestions, but if you want the ULTIMATE in Buffalo Bar Late Night food, you go down the street to the Pink and get a Steak Sandwich.
  23. That's all Watson ever really wanted. And only wanted it after the Owner was the first to bring it up and promise it, and then not follow through on his promise.
  24. He could do it all, at any position, in any scheme. Looks like I deleted the bookmark after he retired, but I used to keep handy a link to an article by one of the Bills blogs (Billswire, BuffaloRumblings, etc) from back in 2012 or so. WBeck when we were changing DCs and schemes every season, even sometimes DURING the season. They went through and broke down all the different DT roles Kyle had been asked to play, and showed how he was immediately successful in every single one of them. Man, I cant believe I deleted that. Was a good article about Defenses in general. Let the Google search, begin!... edit: Holy cow, I actually found it. Article from 2011. Good read on defensive schemes and Kyle. https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2011/1/11/1927873/examining-multiple-defensive-fronts-featuring-kyle-williams
