  1. DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT, BILLS FANS!
  2. Stating the obvious but... The mistake there is building to beat one team instead of building to beat any and every team with classic, foundational football. Especially in a league with rules that create churn, parity, and set the stage for that one team to be completely different year over year.
  3. CRO making some waves, and looks like the Loopring dip has ended... Blinked and missed my chance at both of those.
  4. One of my favorite and most accurate Belichick-isms is: "More games in the NFL are lost than won", and he's also said "Dumb loses more games than Smart wins". Point is, games are usually decided by one team making more mistakes and beating themselves. Bills are a perfect example of that this year.
  5. Not sure the Bills need a Joc Pederson to bring in the fun. Seems we've had too much of that already. They need a winning vet to get people focused. Someone to turn the music off, kick the social media team out of the training room, and put everyone to work.
  6. Lately, the Bills do not respect wood.
  7. Yeah I watched the game. But did you read the article this thread is based on? So not sure I completely agree with your assessment. My point in the post you quoted was about getting the ball out QUICKLY. Like much closer to 2 seconds. And to use those plays as a substitute for a running game, since we have neither the line nor the backs to run the ball. Obviously, when we're in a situation that takes away the running game (being down big, late), then that takes away all of those plays, and we're going to try to push it downfield. However, I have seen the Pats effectively control the clock even with the short game, since the plays are quick and the WR is typically on an out route and already heading to the sideline. I can specifically remember Edelman crushing the Ravens over and over in a playoff game with simple, short, quick outs that moved the ball down the field but took little time off the clock. It isnt checking down to any Charlies. That would be what Josh was doing yesterday after holding the ball far too long. I'm talking designed, fast, short passes. Get the ball out immediately to the primary receiver. The offense gets far less penalties when OL only have to block for a second instead of 3 or 4. They jump far less when the entire O is in a rhythm from connecting short, quick passes. They were ok, and made to look better by the passing game. Agreed none of our current schlubs would be let in their building.
  8. Good to know. Thanks! Last time I was up there was for the 2008 opener against the Seahawks. We had to stand the whole time. Maybe it's changed since then, or maybe it was just because it was the opener.
  9. All good man. I was just taking an opportunity for some shameless self promotion, and some self-deprecating humor.
  10. "Great minds" or something...
  11. PLEASE post the results of you in a Patriots jersey asking the Monday Night crowd to sit down. 🤣
  12. I put this on our coaching as well. It is the coach's job to put players in a position to succeed. And in both attempts, he instead setup Bass to fail. Career long-type attempts in the wind and rain. Not only did McD take any possible wind from our sails by taking the wuss route, Not only did we not get any points, but he may have inadvertently sabotaged our kicker's mojo going forward by setting him up to miss. Inexcusable calls by the HC.
  13. To your point, I'd say it was the Chiefs game. It seems this team came into this season only wanting to avenge last years loss, and beat the Chiefs, and then everyone was satisfied and packed it in.
  14. Right, but we know the plays are there in the playbook since we've seen the Pats do it. Daboll needs to figure it out.
  15. Exactly. However, in some fairness to both Daboll and Josh, the example in that video is on 3rd and 18. I get wanting to push it deeper in that situation. But even if they just picked up 8 yards, it would have put us in solid FG range. Instead of turning it over.
  16. My point is, the question sucked when I asked it originally. We dont need duplicate dumb ideas! But no offense to the other OPs. It is a topic worth discussing.
  17. This is pretty much a copy of this thread: Which was a copy of my thread:
  18. Unfortunately, if you dont want to stand for most of (or the entire) game, your best bet is Club seats. Maybe the Family Section as well. Other than that, it seems the entire stadium stands for pretty much the entire game, except for long time outs.
  19. It's a factor. But we saw the Patriots utilize a short, quick passing game in replacement of a running game for YEARS. It can be done. We aren't even trying it. Which is weird considering Daboll was with the Pats during that time.
  20. I dont know how much I can agree with this. At least the 99% part. Bad protection and lack of run game are certainly big factors. But his insistence of playing hero ball and going deep is on him, and also contributes to the "bad protection" factor. Get the ball out quick. We are running the Patriots playbook. We KNOW those quick passes to Welker/Edelman/BEASLEY exist. They used them in lieu of a run game for years. Short pass, ball out QUICK. As the article shows, even when he makes short passes, he is holding it for 3 seconds and only making the short pass as a dump off. Usually after staring down the receiver as well.
  21. The Bucs are 100% vaccinated behind VERY outspoken, public, and clear-cut direction from Arians. The Patriots are also one of the top vaccinated teams behind Belichick's approach. None of that "respecting decision" garbage. Take the politics and fear-mongering propaganda out of it, it's about availability and winning. A completely opposite approach from what our coach and players took. Team-first vs Player-first. It's hardly the only, or even main, issue. But there is no way it hasn't contributed to at least a minor rift in the locker room, regardless of what players say in press conferences. And rift or not, has now hampered our team in at least 2 games, which greatly contributed to losing. Starts at the top with leadership. Edit: A preemptive "save your puke faces". Facts dont care about how you feel about the vaccines. Like it or not, this is about availability and being committed to winning, and it is what it is.
  22. Happy Birthday NG!!
  23. Yeah, that about sums it up perfectly.
  24. Like I said, I hate the idea as well. But there are certain things that need to be discussed. At least among us fans whose opinions dont mean anything.
