Right. Like how dumb or privileged do you have to be to see an opportunity to interview for an extremely limited, extremely sought after position as a bad thing? "not getting a job because of being a certain colour" is DEFINITELY the answer for which should piss someone off more.

He played all the way through college, so that doesnt refute my point at all.

Yeah, I have a hard time making that cross over as well. Especially in Football. It's a bit different in Basketball and Hockey where women actually play from a young age, through college, and even professionally. It may not be the same level of competition, but they at least have "been there". Hiring a woman football coach is like hiring Todd Haley. The second the going gets tough, players start telling him to go back to golf.

Bills interviewing Raiders WR coach Edgar Bennett for OC

It was beyond Agents. But not much better. Mostly "blog reporters" from the Giants' world. That's an issue with the person making the assumption, not the rule.

Bills interviewing Raiders WR coach Edgar Bennett for OC

It could equally tell us that Dorsey agreed to stay, but since we HAVE to interview at least 1 minority candidate before making a hire we are doing some guys some favors, and expanding our network, and looking for replacements for some position coaches. -
Bills request to interview Tee Martin for OC Job
DrDawkinstein replied to 17islongenough's topic in The Stadium Wall
The knock on Payton is that he'd essentially be a 1-year rental and gone once the Dallas HC spot opens up in 2023. Which could be fine, and gives us more time to find the up-and-comer we really want to hire. But will cause more instability and turn over when Payton leaves and tries to take guys with him too. -

I mean, do some even basic research dude. Compare his resume to Dorsey's. He's been with the Ravens 1 season. He isnt the GM, so he isnt drafting or signing WRs. He coached Brown for only this past season (his first decent one). -

Some other interesting stuff from his wiki page... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tee_Martin -
Bad opinion, given its effectiveness and simplicity. But you are entitled to it.

Then who else are the Giants interviewing besides Dorsey? Given this expansion of the rule, sure seems like all those reports from Saturday night saying Giants offered a deal to Dorsey and it was as good as done were a little... premature? Not surprising for the Twitterverse, and most of those tweets were from Giants-based folk.

Still a better position to be in than all the other assistant coaches who didnt even get a call or an interview. The folks in here talking about interview experience and networking are exactly right. This is ALL benefiting the candidates. There is literally no downside for them. Tee Martin isnt doing anything else right now. -
Brian Daboll hired to be Head Coach of NY Giants

Any word on Dorsey/OC this morning? -
It's not just up to the Bills. He's a Free Agent, and has a name built for himself now. He'll probably get a higher offer in FA than what we could/should pay.

If he clashed with McD because of his work ethic, wait until he gets a load of Belichick.

I expected the increase in ST since we replaced Andre Roberts with him. Interesting that snap counts were close. Even with those raw numbers, I'd be interested in how he was used. I know a number of us were wondering where all the Jet Sweep presnap motions were for the first half of the year. I'd be fine with bringing him back. I've said elsewhere that my starting WRs for 2022 would be Diggs, Davis, Dirty. But I also understand how/why he got himself out of McD's good graces, and may have to move on.
-
I'd like to see the numbers on his snap counts and usage in 2020 vs 2021. It felt like his presence and presnap motion was a huge part of our offense in 2020, and then we completely got away from it for most of 2021. And when we did bring it/him back into the fold in 2021, our offense started clicking again. I'd have played him more over Beasley, and Davis more over Sanders

I do, and have the whole season, for multiple reasons. His cavalier attitude towards vaccination, the fines for breaking protocol, and telling everyone on twitter that he was already vaxxed and then tweeting the next week that he just got his first shot. His jokester attitude in a lot of clips comes off as maybe he's joking around too much instead of taking his work seriously. His bad attitude when he got benched and cried about it on twitter. I dont think he's a scumbag, or criminal, or a bad person. But I do feel he has work ethic issues, and some "football character" concerns. I wasnt one bit surprised to hear he ended up in McDermott's dog house at some point this season. I know he's your boy (to a weird degree, btw), but he isnt as beyond reproach as you often make him out to be.

For the XLM folks, and as an ALGO guy, great article here: https://www.yahoo.com/now/iso-20022-cryptos-5-compliant-194204661.html Get into the 5 coins listed in that article now. ISO 20022 is the future. Coinbase is already doing a ton of work to ensure and maintain compliance as well.

Don't care. If we dont like it, tackle him.
