  1. I remember a lot. Went to Michael Baker Daycare over in OP. I can remember the first day and crying as my mom left and the teacher holding me. I remember a LOT of different events we had there. Even a bunch of little, one-off experiences during play time or nap time. Good times! Yep. That's what I remember about nap time. I wasnt a napper and I was always getting "in trouble" for not sleeping. We just had these little mats too. Hated all of it.
  2. I know the return to practice has already been reported but this McD quote is extra interesting. Wonder exactly what has changed and if that means a deal is imminent!
  3. But he has operated this whole time with one of the worst OLs. Certainly the worst by far out of the top tier QBs. So there is some balance there.
  4. That bedtime commercial is great! "That guy sucks" 😆
  5. It's a long walk between the bedroom and guest room! 😆 (nah, we have to go in at least once a week, preferably twice. they get once from me lol)
  6. Given his 4.9 YPC, if you feed him on 1st and 2nd down you usually dont get to 3rd down anyways!
  7. Not commenting on the rest of the discussion but... One of my favorite Herm Edwards sayings: A goal without a plan is just a wish!
  8. And it sounds like they're at least standing in the same yard right now. Link one/any quote of Cook asking for $20M.
  9. Also makes it easier since he doesnt have to remember to report as eligible. LOOKING AT YOU, ANDERSON Ha! I shouldve scrolled farther.
  10. I'm a McDoubter as well, but slightly disagree here. I think both/either would take the Saints to the playoffs in that Division. The best saying I've read about McDermott is "He's the type of coach that can take a 4-13 team to the Wild Card round. And also the type of coach that will take a 14-3 team to the Wild Card round" He'd do very well in current situations like New Orleans or Carolina. With "very well" being relative. But would likely disappoint in KC, Philly, Detroit...
  11. I'm pretty sure the Bills reached out on all of these extensions for players going into their last year. Otherwise Bernard, Benford, Rousseau, and Shakir all asked too early too? Cook's just happens to be the trickiest for a number of reasons. And I'd bet none of those other players/agents blindly signed the first offer that came across the table without some negotiation. No offense to you, @boater, but this constant twisting of the narrative by so many Bills fans to always make Cook the bad guy somehow is exhausting, and a bad look for the so-called "best fan base". There are NO bad guys here. Beane is trying to do what's best for the org, and Cook is doing what is best for himself as the player. And hopefully they can find common ground. That's all.
  12. Good news, Cook has never asked to be paid anything close to Barkley. So no need to worry about that strawman. Cook is also far more productive, and far more important to this team, than Shakir. So yeah, something in that $11M-$14M range sound about right. The rest of the hating and weird punishment fantasies, you can just keep yourself.
  13. But like you said, reports are that they are close, and it sounds like we're near the Williams deal... So it's about to be on Beane to step up and make it $11.5M or $12M or whatever slight difference there is and get it done. Doesnt sound from any report that Cook is holding strong at $15M. Big Baller Beane needs to be Bridge Builder Beane if we're this close. All reports are that they are close. So with that, I'm sure the discussion was more along the lines of "We'd love to have you out there, Jimbo", "Sorry coach, I cant risk injury until this deal gets done", "Understood. We'd still like to have you dress and be with the team", "No problem". McD understands this business as well. The players even more so. Nothing is getting fractured, especially Cook's leg.
  14. Yeeah, I saw the results, the poll is not accurate if we're talking right now. That's why I asked what time frame we're talking.
  15. What time frame we talking here? Right now it's obviously Cook. Not even close. That will likely change when the season starts. Probably Kincaid or Bishop. Then the usual shift to McD after another of his playoff performances.
  16. Real question: do the guys get paid for a preseason game?
  17. True, with the hurdle/leap we can walk by and rub his... FEET for good luck. Yeah, that's it.
  18. Currently? No one. In about 15-20 years? Of course, Josh. Only question is: Diving pose? Or leaping pose? or
  19. I get what you guys are saying, I'm a known McD doubter, especially when it comes to playoff time. But the Giants played their starting QB and are trying different things with bringing Dart along yesterday. We started Trubisky, then moved to White, and our situation is very different. I'd also argue that coaching/playcalling IS the difference in the postseason, and that's been the problem. But whatevs, preseason game 1 down.
  20. For whatever it's worth... Probably not going to get a lot of 3rd down stops that way. Nor have guys in good positions to make plays.
  21. Here's a throwback to Earl Thomas flipping off his own Seahawks sideline after breaking his leg in the middle of contract negotiations...
  22. Fully dressed and ready to go, just like he will be week 1 when it counts. Move along folks.
  23. Well... Benford's 2 in a week was bad, but we were all watching when the most disturbing one occurred. Tua's 2 in 4 days.
  24. Ramsey for sure, staying on the list through name recognition. DeJean, eh. That kid is a baller and should be a Bill. All around great football player. Not knocking Benford, but DeJean deserves it from what Ive seen. I get what youre saying though, like I said, could slot him in anywhere in that 80-100 range. Hopefully he's top 50 after this season
