  1. The thing is to set things up with guy who do things really well in one thing you have to be able to establish something else. For example James Cook teams know can catch the football and has great speed in the open field. Well every time Cook got in the game early in the year it would be some sort of outside run play. This is the NFL teams know tendencies. It wasn’t until Cook started running the ball inside the tackles that teams had to adjust when Cook was on the field. Same with Hines. Can’t expect screens to work when a guy plays 10 snaps and everyone knows he’s one of the best pass catching backs in the league. Establish him as a runner more and you’ll see more success with stuff like that.
  2. Maybe Allen is politely telling Beane that he needs more help on offense long term and that maybe he should start investing some high draft picks into the offensive side of the ball
  3. Isn’t that really all we need him to do? It’s clear McKenzie ain’t that guy. It’s clear the Bills don’t think Shakir is ready to be that guy. No one is expecting Beasley to run seam routes, if the expectation is for Beasley to be a zone beater who can find soft spots and keep us ahead of the chains by catching 6 yard passes and falling down then so be it. Shpuld I expect more out of a slot than that? Absolutely but it’s week 15, the Bills know they need help, he’s familiar with the QB and team. There aren’t better options. Even a guy like stay Hilton doesn’t fit what the Bills needed
  4. The Pats can make the playoffs. A weaker team making it to the wild card and we are by no means a lock for the 1 seed and I’d much rather play NE than the Chargers, Bengals, etc etc.
  5. A snowstorm might actually benefit the Bills. Stick noodle arm Tua in a windy stadium with feet of snow and their passing game is no longer effective. They just lost Jeff Wilson probably this week, Hill will play but on a bad ankle, and Mostert, their other running back has been slowed by a bum knee all year. Noodle Arm QB, Speed WR with a bum ankle in snow, and two injured Running backs in feet of snow and wind seems like a win to me. Allen and the offense wont score as much in it but I trust Allen to improvise in bad weather against a Dolphins defense that struggles to stop anyone on the road.
  6. Their all like that. I supposed its their job to drum up different conversation points but each one of them has grown some out of nowhere ego where their opinion is the be all end all of Buffalo Sports Talk. Sal was incredibly likable early on when he first got his break, now he acts like hes an insider because he stands on the sideline when really he has no more of a scoop than what he is told by the team. Comes off arrogant to me now. Jeremy White thinks he knows everything. Schoop and Bulldog could care less and would rather talk about things that interest them more. Howard is a likeable character, seems down to Earth but talks too much and never takes phone calls(prob for good reason). Etc Etc.
  7. Big win to give some breathing room. Win next week and it essentially locks up the AFC East
  8. All that matters are wins this time of the year. A much improved Jets team in bad weather. Take em and move on. We're 10-3 and have beaten two divisional rivals in a row and 5 in a row. The offense has to click better next week.
  9. So much for the Raiders getting back into the playoff picture with their weak schedule. Yikes terrible loss pending they can’t get Carlson into moonshot range
  10. The Lions are a pretty solid team rn now that they got their defense semi figured out. I’m rooting for them to get back in it
  11. The Bills Bengals Monday Night game will be huge esp if they are still 1 game behind Buffalo
  12. The Raiders of all teams have a great shot to get back into the convo so I agree with you there Raiders have: @Rams Patriots @Steelers 49ers Chiefs Last two are tough for sure but if you get to 9-8 they might get in.
  13. How freaking bad are the Chargers every year to be so talented and never make the playoffs my god. Its been like this for 20 plus years. Talk about a tortured franchise. Between Rivers and Herbert two great QB's who don't have the clutch gene at all.
  14. A perfect scenario for the Bills is the 1 seed w/the following: 1. Buffalo Bills 2. Kansas City Chiefs 3. Cincinnati Bengals 4. Tennessee Titans 5. Miami Dolphins 6. New York Jets 7. Los Angeles Chargers The Chargers never beat seem to beat the Chiefs but they always play them super tight. Even if the Chiefs win they get a rematch with the Bengals who they don't play well. Bills then get either Tennessee at home that they already dominated or the Miami Dolphins with Tua's weak arm in cold weather on a team that throws down the field a lot.
  15. I know this is not going to go over well but I think Tyler Huntley has shown the potential to be at the same level Lamar Jackson has played at. Granted Jackson has been pretty bad this year.
  16. The problem is he’s not getting a chance to showcase his pass catching. Dude is blocking and chipping and running to the flat every play cause the Oline can’t block anyone. Can’t stretch the seam if your staying in for a second or two every play
  17. Its nice when they win on Thursdays. Means you can relax on Sunday's knowing they already won and everything else that goes their way helps.
  18. The Bills have played this game like a preseason game on offense and are up by 17. Is this Patriots team really going to have a chance to make the playoffs? They aren't a good football team.
  19. Florida State the original team who finished top 10 multiple years in a row and if they had the luxury of 4 team playoffs would have many more national titles in their case. The team that is 2-0 against the SEC this year including a win over the SEC West Champs LSU who beat Alabama. So please express your SEC dominance on me about how the little ACC can’t compete when their 3rd place team beat the SEC west champion and their rival Florida and will get another chance probably in the Gator Bowl against USC, Kentucky, or Miss. Unlike you I root for one team. So spare me the SEC dominance of the other ACC teams cause unlike SEC fans I don’t root for other ACC teams. I want Clemson to crash and others to crash and burn And no I’m not bragging and yes they have stunk but unlike you I can honestly say I’m very happy for Mike Norvell and FSU this year. They exceeded expectations and are on their way back. There I think I saved you a bunch of time by catching all of your rebuttals before you can spew them back at me.
  20. Simple don't lose two games and don't beat a 4 loss Texas team by 1 point, an unranked Ole Miss and Texas A&M barely, and your best wins are literally Mississippi and Mississippi State. All that junk your talking about TCU, they beat about 6 more teams similar to Miss and Miss State. They already beat the # 10 team, beat that same Texas team by 7 instead of 1 in the same stadium. We can talk about how on paper Alabama would crush this team or that team but they never showed it on the field. Thats where it matter not whatever concoction is in the your brain about what makes sense.
  21. I could actually see the Jets-Bills game getting flexed as well. There is some talk on twitter that the Chiefs/Broncos game wont be on Sunday Night.
  22. They have won the games on their schedule. I'm not going to hate on them because they beat bad teams. They won that's all that matters. Now these next games show what their made of on the road against 3 really good teams.
  23. I'm the one who said Denver poses a threat. Yes its a dumpster fire over there but Russell Wilson is still a capable QB, they still have capable weapons, the Chiefs are on the road in division, and the Broncos have a great defense that can hold the Chiefs to a reasonable amount. Its one game and anything can happen. Would you say that you would have lost to the Colts before it happened? Probably not. I'm not saying they will lose. I'm saying that Denver has the capability in a one game setting to stun the Chiefs.
