When does the Wildcard games schedule come out?
gonzo1105 replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’ll almost guarantee we’re on Sunday or Monday. Chiefs/Steelers is gonna be a snooze fest so no way that game makes the Sunday or Monday window If I had to guess Saturday Steelers/Chiefs 4:35 PM SF/Dallas 8:15 Sunday Bengals Patriots or Bengals Raiders 1:00 Eagles/Bucs 4:25 Bills/Patriots Bills/Chargers 8:15 Monday LA Rams vs Cardinals i suppose you can change the Bengals Chiefs game on Sat /Sun -
prob the chargers

Braden Mann-Meat vs Haack...who is the better punter?
gonzo1105 replied to Sherlock Holmes's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m guessing Haack is gone and Gillian gets a shot next week -
Idk who to root for. Chargers a finesse team, with a first time QB in the playoffs(albeit a dangerous one) in cold weather going across the country or a Patriots team that knows us well but has a below average QB but a strong running game
-
Nope not necessarily. If the Dolphins beat the Patriots and the Raiders beat the Chargers it will be: Raiders 5 Patriots 6 Steelers 7
-
Gross the Chiefs got the easiest matchup possible in the first round with the Steelers unless there is a tie. If there is a tie we host the Raiders and the Chiefs get the Chargers
-
The Bengals won the division so they own the tiebreaker unless the Pats win the East. If they both are division winners the Pats would be 3 and the Bengals 4
-
no it doesn’t. The Ravens need to win Colts loss Dolphins loss Chargers loss or tie

This should have been Mitch Trubisky time
gonzo1105 replied to buffaloboyinATL's topic in The Stadium Wall
Lol who cares about Trubisky. I would want my team playing week 18 even if we had the one seed. The Bills have usually played pretty mediocre coming off a bye. I could only imagine how rusty they’d look not playing in week 18 then also getting a bye and not play for 2 weeks -

Jerry Hughes’ Last Regular Season Home Game?
gonzo1105 replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall
sure am not. It’s possible to state how good he was and also admit he’s done and won’t be back next year. I’d like him to occasionally sack the QB for a guy making the type of money he has. Addison , who has been a whipping boy here, has outsacked Hughes this year and last despite being older . It’s okay tho you can throw out the vaunted pressure rate to me about why he’s still good -
Jerry Hughes’ Last Regular Season Home Game?
gonzo1105 replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall
He won’t be back next year he’s barely hanging on as is right now -
yup in my scenario that’s 3 comp picks total number is 32
-
I think Siran Neal is one of those types of players that signs 2nd day of FA for bigger money than expected and everyone goes what the heck
-
I know its probably unpopular to the Bills 1st round opponent but I want the Chargers to beat the Raiders. A Chargers win essentially locks them into the # 7 spot and a rematch with the Chiefs. I think they are the toughest opponent the Chiefs can draw in the 1st round. Yes even more than the Colts who if they get behind have no shot with Wentz at QB of beating the Chiefs.

Panthers Willing to Listen to Offers for McCaffrey
gonzo1105 replied to aristocrat's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bills will have the draft capital this year to make a move like this if they want. If not McCaffrey than Barkley or an OL that’s on the outs. There is no way the Panthers give him up for a 4th tho like some are suggesting, just to save face. My guess is if you see him moved a Conditional 3rd(turns into a 2) a 4th and a late pick -
Don’t laugh at the guy but with Covid, the draft last year was really week after round 4. With the extra year this draft will be deeper than typical ones. The Bills have 9 picks. If Frazier gets a HC job that’s an extra 3rd. Usually you have to get about 3.5 million now to even qualify in the top 32 lost Free Agents. Out of those guys that are Free Agents, I suspect if we don’t re sign them that Trubisky, Wallace, Phillips, maybe Hughes on a 1 year, and Neal because of his STs prowess plus position flexibility being the likely guys. I would suspect we end up with 2 comp picks in the later rounds. It could end up being 1st 2nd 3rd 3rd(Frazier) 4th 5th 5th(Comp) 6th 6th(Johnson) 6th(Comp) 7th 7th(Smith)

Right but that’s what I’m saying. A lot of good coaches get passed over for high level jobs because they didn’t luck into knowing someone. There are a ton of D3 and D2 guys who are really good but because they don’t know a heavyweight will never get the chance. That’s what’s wrong with the profession in general it’s a good old boys network which is why you constantly see damn that guys getting another chance again?

Its always a fine line with conversations like this. Older people like Pees are going to side with him cause they are the I paid my dues people and since I did it other people should have to as well. Younger people, who are usually more tech saavy are going to say why do it that way when we can do it quicker with Tech. Part of me agrees with him particularly the coaching relationship building needs to be personal and allows for your players to approach you about a variety of things. Part of me was like not everyone has to be like you where they worked the lower levels for 20 years before they got their shot. The funny part about it is I worked in the coaching world for a decade and its very much a not what you know business but a who you know business. I would almost guarantee Pees knew someone in the NFL that helped him get that job more so than on the merit of his work at Findlay College and Kent State

flashback 2018 espn draft coverage of Josh pick
gonzo1105 replied to First Round Bust's topic in The Stadium Wall
The first thing I noticed which is weird is how different his body is. He’s more slender and has def added a lot of muscle on an already 240 pound frame he had in that video -
How confident are you about the Bills going into the playoffs?
gonzo1105 replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall
I honestly think it really depends on who we get matched up against. I mean obviously Buffalo is capable of beating anyone but i'll be more confident the Bills can get to Super Bowl if its Patriots, Titans, Bengals versus Colts, Titans, Chiefs.
