  1. Do you think that they took him in for the purpose of making money? I for one doubt it.
  2. I think it is a great idea. Picking only the Bills game and over/under in a thread is far more convenient and less time consuming than picking the entire board. Is this what is going to happen?
  3. All I know is something like a bird Within her sang All I know she sang a little while And then flew on Tell me all that you know I'll show you, snow and rain If you hear that same sweet song again Will you know why? Anyone who sings a tune so sweet Is passin' by Laugh in the sunshine, sing Cry in the dark, fly through the night
  4. These are numbers that I did not know. Thanks for this. I quit smoking on October 15, 2015. I was on the patch for approx 2 months. One day I couldn't find my patch and I was sweating and agitated. I found it and decided that I would never use nicotine again in any form. It was one of the best decisions of my life. Cigarette smokers are more vilified than heroin users imo. Both are threats to society in some way, be it second hand smoke or the crimes frequently committed by heroin addicts. That said, there are far more commercials and attacks waged at cigarette smokers than at heroin users. To this day I feel very sorry for smokers. Smoking really is suicidal in a back door way. Surprisingly, MANY people don't even know why they smoke. It is an addiction to nicotine, plain and simple. To anyone wanting to quit, I highly recommend the book by English author Allen Carr. Sorry, I am not trying to derail your important topic.
  5. I understand why the old fisherman Sail along, sail along, sail along. sail along, sail along Someday he'll be gone I'll take a melody and see what I can do about it I'll take a simple C and G and feel brand now about it Shine on, keep on shining, shine on Keep on shining, shine on, keep on shining Shine on, keep on shining, shine on Keep on shining, shine on, keep on shining
  6. I'm very sorry for your loss, and hope that God provides solace to you and your loved ones in this time of sorrow.
  7. Yeah, I was waiting for some sort of closure or at least some feeling as to what he is doing but it ended abruptly.
  8. It was. He was a very sick individual and I'm surprised at what he was able to accomplish. I wish that the ending was a bit more descriptive of his current life but perhaps I'm a chronic malcontent lol.
  9. I LOVED to hear from Crazy Alice and that guy Elliot Offen. They would have me in tears laughing. The prank calls were also freaking great. Now, the show is nothing more than a PC ball washing session for celebrities. In fact, I dropped Howard from my Sirius account and saved about 60 dollars per year. I find him to be unlistenable. Of course, jmo.
  10. Thank you for sharing this. I pray that God continues to bless you and provide your doctors with the ability to treat you in the best way possible.
  11. I saw him just a few times when he played Alabama. He is a (imho) more of an athlete than a QB. At least this is what I thought when watching him. I have a couple of friends that are Florida Fans. They were very high on him at first but trusted him less as time passed. That said, for all I know he will be great.
  12. Hold on a minute.......Baltimore???????? Baltimore IS quite pleasant.....if you are an undertaker or armed felon, or perhaps even a prostitute.. You would be all smiles if one of these professions was yours. Sorry, but I know just a bit about ghettos. Baltimore is a textbook ghetto. It is the only city that I ever saw in which there is no rush hour. You can breeze right through I 95 in Baltimore at 4 or 5 PM. Nobody in their right mind would stop there. I went there once for a concert and stayed at the Embassy Suites. When we left in the morning there were prostitutes in front of the hotel. When we exited the concert there was a police station across the street. Sounds good, right? It was CLOSED. Yes, police cars in the parking lot and lights out. A closed police station. I have been in some rough parts of Buffalo and they are like Beverly Hills compared to Baltimore. PS: I offer my unconditional apology to any and all Baltimore residents on this board. I really mean this; I was just stunned by the poster's comment. Peace!
  13. That is just a wonderful area, complete with GREAT food and nice people.
  14. I don't quite agree with you but I certainly see your point and respect your opinion.
  15. Some of that heroin kills people, especially when it comes laced with fentenyl. It has killed and continues to kill thousands of Americans. The "cup and a half" of which you speak sometimes kills a lot more people than one lady (RIP) and her dog. There are posters on this board that have lost children to drugs. I am NOT defending Ruggs!!! What he did was absolutely awful and he needs to pay. The point I am trying to make is that selling heroin is as bad or worse than what Ruggs did.
  16. Ain't nobody messin' with you but you Your friends are getting most concerned Loose with the truth, maybe its your fire Baby I hope you don't get burned When the smoke has cleared she said That's what she said to me You're gonna want a bed to lay your head And a little, sympathy
  17. I strongly recommend the Eagle House in beautiful Williamsville. Every entree that I have tried on the menu was great, and the wings are perfect as well. https://eaglehouseonline.com/
  18. How about his endorsement of tripping on hallucinogenic drugs? Will that get him in?
  19. Pretty baby I never knew such a thrill Just thought I'd tell you, because I'm trembling still But pretty baby, I want you all for my own I think I'm ready to leave those others alone No need to ask me if everything is OK I got my answer, the only thing I can say I say yeah yeah, that's what I say, I say yeah yeah That's what I say, yeah yeah
  20. Good point. How can anyone possibly disagree with you and be correct?
  21. Within the prison walls of my mind There's still a part of you left behind And though it hurts, I'll get by Without your lovin' yet I guess there's just no getting, over you And there's nothing I can do But spend all of my time Out of my mind, over you
  22. Don't you go downtown (Sally go 'round) No, don't you go downtown ('round and 'round) Yes, because the saddest thing in the whole wide world Is to see your baby with another girl Sally go 'round the roses (Sally go 'round the roses) Sally go 'round the roses (Sally go 'round the pretty roses) They won't tell your secret (they won't tell your secret) They won't tell your secret (no, the roses won't tell your secret)
  23. There are only 4 things open at 3 AM: 1) Legs 2) Bars 3) Police Stations 4) Hospitals The above is the hardest warning for many young men to heed, trust me.
  24. A bit of a stretch perhaps?
  25. Count the stars in the summer sky That fall without a sound And then pretend that you can't hear These teardrops coming down It happens all the time This crazy love of mine Wrapped around my heart Refusing to unwind Ooh-ooh, crazy love, ah
