Seems like this was said after every victory last year. I agree with the ST coach but give credit to the others . A season opener is generally tough , especially with so much turnover on the roster including some veterans. For a young team to comeback and win is a positive. Yea, we can always be better. (That is a philosophical statement)

Does the new house have a basement? I found that the amount of sound seeping to a topmost level of a house or to the outside is very low. Only sound / rumbles that travel are from a subwoofer. So if you have a basement, I highly suggest using that as your man/woman cave.

Consistent is JP's game. She isn't going to blow anyone away with precision line shots or hit a lot of aces. I agree she absorbs pace very well. She just has to let Sabalenka make the errors as she did after Muchova was blowing her out of the stadium for the first 9 games yesterday

You are absolutely defending Diggs. Not only in this thread but in others too. I don't agree that the Bills had to put up with his tiring act. I do agree that the overall roster is much weaker than last year. The mistake was not in trading Diggs, it was in not finding equivalent or better ones to replace him

She has maximized her talent and done quite well on the courts. I give her kudos. I had purchased tickets to the Sunday night session several weeks back. Leading up to that night, I was fervently hoping for a Pegula and Tiafoe double bill but only one of them turned out to be scheduled advantageusly (for me). Tiafoe's game was quite entertaining and the crowd was loud in his support. If JP had played the second game, my vocal cords would have taken weeks to recover. Anyone who plays to the best of her capabilities deserves major kudos as JP does.

If Diggs performed like he talked, we wouldnt be having this debate. For all his bluster and bravado, he consistently came up small in the playoffs and in the second part of last season. A leader performs on his own and earns the right to demand better from his team mates. He faded down the stretch in the past 2 seasons and yet kept whining and complaining. If he kept up his first half season performance for the rest of last season, he would still be a Bill despite his self centric attitude. It is just baffling that you continue to defend him.
