  1. Shoot, the last time the played in the AFC title game, Belichick still managed to get a win with Bledsoe at QB for over a half.....the man's a football genius Pats win a close, smashmouth football game with an Adam Vinatieri FG in Pittsburgh next week.
  2. And nice job of building up that defense for a playoff run Bill Polian.
  3. Dungy will never beat Belichick in the playoffs. JMO: Football teams are a a reflection of their head coaches. Belichick: smart, tough minded, competitive, gutsy, plays to win Dungy: conservative, whines about officiating, wimpy (doesn't go for it on 4th and short), plays not to lose The Colts will never beat the Patriots in the playoffs as long as these two men stay in their present jobs. signed, Mrs. Captain Obvious
  4. the only worse thing than that call was jim nance and phil simms' convoluted explanation of it.
  5. Wow....Brady throws a totally uncatchable ball...and they call pass interference....nice
  6. Mark gets BINGO
  7. Patriots get the ball abck and drive for a touchdown. Have I mentioned that Tony Dungy is a whiny wuss who will never win a big game? Ah nevermind. I forgot this wan't a football thread. carry on.
  8. The patriots first break was having tony dungy coaching the opponent. He is such a conservative wuss. 4th and a half yard at the NE 48, and he punts. Hey Tony -- you lose, you go home. How has being a wuss worked out for you the last time you played NE?
  9. CUT THAT MEAT! CUT THAT MEAT!
  10. Let's Go insurance adjusters! Let's Go! (clap clap)
  11. was this worth a new thread?
  12. Local forecasters are saying it won't snow in Foxboro until halftime. 2-4" inches there per NWS. The area I live in north of Boston is supposed to get about 6" of ocean-effect snow. Yes, there is such a thing.
  13. If I was a teammate like Curtis Martin, knowing my chances to get to a super bowl are running out and I've played my ass off, I'd be pretty pissed at Pennington. Chad was acting like it was just another payday.
  14. Every time TJ wears that all brown suit-tie-shirt combo. he looks like a giant t......tootsie roll, yeah, that's it
  15. Did UT hand over the QB position to Chris Simms.....but every time they needed a win Applewhite was put back in the lineup? If he can help the SU QB's make the most out of their abilities like he did, it's a good hire. Joe Fields need a good teacher.
  16. Congratulations on the arrival of your new baby girl Mike. Enjoy this special time.
  17. No team in Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Columbus, or Ottawa???? :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: Eat a flaming slap shot you smarmy efite East Coast elite Bristol puckheads. P.S. The new hairdo makes you look like a flaming @sshat Buccigross!

  21. The Dolphin is the only mammal with no external genetalia.
  22. Nice pictures. Hey--I'm the doofus with the bagel! LOL
  23. I remember Bills fans giving Bryan Cox the business, and he responds by flipping them off with both hands and spitting on them. So using the logic that Moss was just responding to what was done to him--it was not big deal either what Cox did because the fans were abusive first. Hmmm..kay At what point do we ask the players and the fans to act like adults?
  24. I noticed that Favre's pal Peter King is still calling for the Bills to Dump Bledsoe In his MMQB column today Last week he calle him "grim, dinosaur-like" and "too old." OTOH, Green Bay ends up with just one more win than the Bills, and Favre looked awful yesterday and in their game against J-ville for example. Does King call him names or tell him to hang it up? Oh no, of course not. He just says yesterday's game was a "stinker" for his buddy Brett, and quotes Favre's post-game comments. It's alot easier to pile on someone when they aren't your long-distance phone friend. MMQB
  25. Farve just threw another interception.....bad decision. Farve reminds me of another great QB late in his career. For years he got away with relying on his arm strength to zip the ball into coverage. As the years go on, that extra velocity on the ball wasn't there, and the interceptions would happen that would leave you wondering, "What was he thinking?!?" Jim Kelly was a first-ballot hall of famer, nevertheless.
