  1. My cat's breath smells like cat food.
  2. Another Cincinnati game in December! Boooo! And on Christmas eve to boot. Why couldn't they schedule that earlier?
  3. AP Wire report (sorry for repeat post)
  4. Cindy: I hope your sister gets through this ok. I bet having you for support is a great help to her.
  5. It's called rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.....
  6. 40+ Year Bills Fan: sorry about your friend. I'm sure you will remember him at every Bills game you attend. That Cincinnati game was the last Bills game I went to.
  7. I have adelphia powerlink, and have been getting more spam this week than I have in the last year. WTH?
  8. I have a good friend in Syracuse with ms. Thanks for walking. Just sent my pledge.
  9. Get well Mike. If you are really bored, here is a little game to keep you occupied: The Doors
  10. Dear Drew: The only statistic that truly matters in a team sport is WINS. You don't get that....and that's why you are no longer a Patriot or a Bill. All you wanted to do is chuck the ball deep.....you didn't adapt to blitzes or consistently look for more than one receiver. You will never change, and your results will be the same, Mr. Close but no cigar.
  11. I don't see why anyone is shocked by what Haslett said....during the era when he played football, alot of the players took anabolic steroids like they were vitamins. You may not like what Haslett or Jose Canseco said, but you can't stick your head in the sand and pretend steroids haven't been used in baseball and football. It's not only ileegal, it's cheating. And what about hockey? The last NHL bargaining agreement did not allow for any drug testing. And look what happened to John Kordic? If they ever play again, I hope the new agreement allows for testing.
  12. Hammered: I'm sorry you lost a good friend. My condolences to you and his family.
  13. hometown - Rome, NY currently - Rockport, Mass. age - older than dirt
  14. No. He can sit on the phone book that Darren Pang used to put on his chair during NHL broadcasts.
  15. BINGO! That's why New England dumped him on Buffalo. They were frustrated that Drew wouldn't work in the off-season to improve other aspects of his game; he was stubborn and set in his ways. He wouldn't change his game to suit what the coaches wanted even if it was a short, conservative passing game. There are alot of guys who can throw the deep ball. But doing it when you are being rushed and throwing it to the correct team is another story, isn't it? and what about sticking to a game plan. Or not zeroing in on the same receiver all the time?
  16. I think it's amusing that some lawyer would be so desperate to save face to his friends in Boston that he shells out $2375 for something like this. Looks like it's not happening after all, and the big winner is the Dana Farber Cancer Insitute: FleetCenter.com
  17. To quote Bill Simmons, "I will now light myself on fire." (By the way, I'm drunk again.)
  18. This is like the guy who rubbed a lamp and asked a Genie for a weener that touches the floor. *Poof* and his legs fell off.
  19. Chilling photos have been retrieved from a broken digital camera that washed up on a beach in Thailand. The last photo show the waves coming in while tourists walk on the beach completely unaware. Seattle Times: Couple's final photos "an echo from the grave"
  20. I mix fruit juice and ripple. I call it Flipple.
  21. Jerry Jones, Drew Bledsoe, and Bill Parcells: Scummy, the Mummy, and a Big Fat Dummy
  22. Was anyone surprised yesterday when Barry played the race card?
  23. The Indianapolis Colts have failed to advance in the playoffs the last 2 years because they did not have a defense to match New England's. So what do they do? Throw a monstrous 7-year contract at offensive tackle Ryan Diem. (The same guy who was burnt like toast by Willie McGinest in this year's playoffs.) Because they have to get under the cap, the Colts are expected to cut tight end Marcus Pollard and place-kicker Mike Vanderjagt. I don't know what Polian and Irsay are thinking, but they are nuts if they don't shore up that defense. And as a Bills fan, I hope they don't anytime soon. Indianapolis Star: Colts Ink Diem for 7 Years
  24. Bruschi was released from the hospital in Boston this afternoon. I saw the live shot on the local news. Bruschi was smiling and talking, but walking slowly and gingerly while holding onto his wife's arm. BTW, I think it's irresponsible to assume his stroke was steroid related. It's not like he's been playing major league baseball where the testing has been non-existant or a joke.
  25. It's one thing to say to hell with the players and owners, but I feel badly for everyone on the periphery of hockey who is losing income. Ticket takers, security guards, concessions workers, tv crews, local bars and restaurants. It would be a terrible blow to Buffalo if the Sabres don't come back and are contracted.
