I was at Fenway Park a week ago when Tommy Lasorda and Wayne Gretzky were throwing the ceremonial first pitch before the Reds/Red Sox game. (They were there to promote prostate cancer health.) I was the one booing when Gretzky's name was announced. And he threw like a wuss too.

A recently discovered video has brought Jim Morrison back one more time courtesy of Florida State University. The clip was discovered last year among films WFSU _ a PBS station operated by the university _ donated to the state in 1989 and was recently posted to the state's film archive Web site after being digitally converted. The video was found accidently by Jaime Madden ``He said, 'Oh my god! I have more respect for Shaquille O'Neal after reading this. Now if only the NBA acted with as much respect for the pioneers of the NBA, and gave them a better pension. Shortly before Mikan died, ESPN did a feature on him, and said he was getting a measly $1000 a month pension, which came no where near to covering his medical and living expenses.

They recently changed the only dance hits station in Boston to this format. They call it MIKE FM, and it was done without warning. It ticked off the fans of the station, and they got alot of angry calls. Some genius came up with the idea that this format would have something to please everyone, but it pleases no one. It's mediocre music from every genre. One of the marketing geniuses compared it to the popularity of an iPod shuffle. Guess what? If someone likes listening to an iPod shuffle, they aren't listening to the radio. @ssclowns. It's an excuse to replace DJs with prerecorded pap.
