    Wind coming out of the northeast at the moment at 42 mph with wind gusts over 50. It's just a nasty n'oreaster here on Cape Ann. Local weather station I wouldn't compare today's gale to the perfect storm. If I remember correctly that was the unholy merger of 3 weather systems over the north atlantic.

    Davey is a terrific athlete. The Pats invested in him despite having Brady, had him play in NFLE, and hoped he would learn to throw with more accuracy. He never did. I liked him as a college QB, but have my doubts about his future in the NFL.

    I usually roll my eyes when I see TD celebrations like McGahee's, but the fact that I'm middle aged and white have something to do with my attitude.

    Good luck to Bruschi if his doctor's say it's ok for him to play. I hope they've told him to lay off any perfomance enhancing drugs too

    No one will take the Bills seriously until they can win a road game. The next two weeks are very important. I can't get jacked up about home wins over 3 seriously flawed teams like Houston, Miami, and the NY Jets. Houston is the worst team in the NFL, and the other two teams are screwed at QB.

    Shanahan is making the right calls on offense, and Jake Plummer is having one of those rare days where he throws accurately. They are picking apart NE's defense. The Patriots have no running game today, so the Denver defense is just gunning for Brady.
