  1. Stupendous photos macinmotion. Thanks for sharing them with those of us who can't be there.
  2. check out photo 8 separated at birth: mike mularkey and kevin costner
  3. I hope the flight attendant told him he's not supposed to stir his cocktail with that thing.
  4. Looks like the Dolphins wasted a draft pick. Good.
  5. 90 degrees here by 11 am today.
  6. It's "only" 92 and rising here in Boston.
  7. I think Nick Saban is going to grit his teeth and tolerate RW until he can trade him. Saban seems like a no-tolerance for nonsense type like Belichick.
  8. You better keep harassing us here Campy. This place wouldn't be the same if you didn't.
  9. Ricky Williams doesn't sound anymore interested or fired up about playing football than he did a year ago.
  10. When asked why he quit, Ricky said, "I don't know." Wow. Then he said something about you can't put learning about "alternative theories of life" into a sound bite. If I'm Nick Saban, I'd make him pee into a cup TODAY.
  11. The Sabres and Panthers were screwed by the drawing...what is the point of watching your team suck and not make the playoffs....and then end up with a mediocre or low draft position. @#%$
  12. sabres boned again what else is new
  13. You're absolutely correct! How could we possibly underestimate the integrity of the NHL?!? After all when they have a rule -- like that in-the-crease business -- well, by cracky, they enforce it to the letter no matter what the situation! I have complete faith in Gary Bettman! Now excuse me, but the men in the white coats are here to take me home.
  14. I am a big sabres fan. I wanted Tim Connolly to do well because he's from CNY like me. But even I admit that he is too much of a p*ssy to have a decent nhl career cut him loose darcy
  15. Third round pick for a former pro bowl running back whoopdedamndoo
  16. I don't mean to be a wet blanket but the NHLPA still has to ratify the deal. I hope it's just a formality, and nothing else will let this lockout continue.
  17. I felt the same whay when I heard this news. Some of his symptoms were more indicative of a psychosis, and he is at an age where certain disorders tend to manifest. I hope he gets the help he needs, whatever is wrong.
  18. It's called "thinning the herd."
  19. NFL Films had great footage of him on the sidelines from Super Bowl IV. I'll never forget his reaction when Otis Taylor caught a pass on the sidelines and went 46 yards for a TD. Stram was also fun to listen to when he did color commentary on MNF radio broadcasts.
  20. Bob Kraft can afford to have another ring made. Trust me.
  21. In defense of Jeremy Roenick, let me remind everyone that he has suffered mulitple concussions while playing hockey. It has almost ended his career. Clearly, those statements show he has taken too many hits to the noggin. My thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Roenick.
  22. You can have my Bledsoe blue replica for free -- just pay the shipping charges. It's a size 56.
  23. I haven't seen much coverage of the NFL Supplemental draft coming up in a couple weeks. I did hear that alot of teams, esp. the Dolphins, are interested in defensive tackle Manuel Wright who is leaving USC because of academic problems. And article in a Jersey paper mentions more players who might be decent pickups, but I haven't heard much about the Bills interest in this draft. Have we heard anything from Donahoe about it? I got the link from Google.....but this web site doesn't let you link directly to archived articles. Go to google news and search Vinny DiTrani Returning for Seconds Other players mentioned: -Kentucky linebacker Chad Anderson, who led theSEC in tackles with 125 in 2003 but had problems with academics -Clemson wide receiver Roscoe Crosby, who played one year at Clemson after signing a $1.75 million baseball contract as an outfielder with the Kansas City Royals. He left the Royals organization after an elbow injury, and showed excellent speed in workouts for NFL scouts.
  24. plenzmd1: Yep, the No Name Restaurant is still around, and one of the best places to go for inexpensive fried seafood. Fortunately my office is within walking distance of some of the better seafood places around. I'd recommend any of them to Mr. Clutch: Legal Seafood's (owned by Syracuse alum Roger Berkowitz) McCormick & Schmicks Skipjacks Atlantic Fish Company Mr. Clutch: if you are doing the Duck Tour, you pick it up near the Prudential Center Mall. There is a Legal Seafood there as well as The Cheesecake Factory & California Pizza Kitchen. If you want pub grub and brews, Try Dick's Last Resort. It is a comedy club, and the staff is known for joking around with the patrons, but the prices are decent for Boston. If the Clutch-ette likes shopping, she'll enjoy the mall. Prudential Center I don't think anyone mentioned the Museum of Fine Arts, which has a very cool exhibition of Ralph Lauren's sports cars until July 3. It's very accessible by the T. MFA.org
  25. None taken. $30 to park your car somewhere in downtown Boston is also a big ripoff though.
