  1. Get it done here. Need to start delivering the knockout punch early! As Hank Bullough used to say - “Take the sails out of their wind!”.
  2. Better not be a timeout after seeing what the play is. If not, be prepared regardless! Know what they are doing before they do it!
  3. Glad to see him make the FG, but have to stop leaving points on the field. Gotta figure out how to score a TD there.
  4. A run like that will help open what we can do on offense...as long as we don’t go 3 and out now.
  5. 8 am on weekends seems to be the neighborhood rule for lawn equipment. Snow blowing at anytime - been out there at 4 or 5 am if need to leave that early. My my real issue is, when to use lawn equipment when neighbors have guests over? My neighbor believes as soon as he sees you outside with others, time to cut the grass. Not a quick run at it, slow and deliberate.
  6. Bad loss. Allen needs to get better. Play calling isn’t the problem. Overthrows, under throws and behind the back passes gotta stop.
  7. I have not watched a single superhero film lately since Iron Man 3. Except “Green Lantern”. Have not watched a single Avengers or any other one. That being said, this is a bit less of a superhero show for me. Focus is more on the “regular folk”. Special effects in the show are great. When A-Train did what he did in the first episode, it was incredible. Good actors, interesting story line.
  8. Went to Ruth’s Chris in Niagara Falls Canada for our Anniversary a few years back. Steaks were 65 and up. Had a $75 strip only because of the change rate. Not a good steak at all. Honestly, I’ve cooked better on my Weber. Had a porterhouse or NY Strip years ago at Russell’s about 5 years ag, don’t re,ember the price other than about $110 per person with a couple glasses of weight he and desert. Overall an excellent meal. honestly the best special occasion dinner I’ve ever had was with my Wife an 2 kids at Jimsteakout for our anniversary. Had the best time, most memorable.
  9. If it was completed, the scramble by Josh and drop by Brown would have made the highlight reel for years to come. Good win. Have some up issues though. Need to fix the run defense now. It’s become a huge problem.
  10. 2 groups, 5 kids total. 1st at 6:15, 2nd at 8:00. Has steadily declined over the years, so not unexpected.
  11. So Brown and Beasley aren’t any good? Foster has shown he can play. Duke looks like he could be a gamer if given the chance. The rest aren’t #1, but don’t have to be. Play calling and o-line play are a big part of our “WR problem”. When given time, Josh has shown he can play well. Not going to have good numbers with anyone when he’s taking off instead of setting his feet, or getting jumpy in the pocket.
  12. We have good WR’s. Need to have a QB who doesn’t overthrow the deep pas, or maybe leads John Brown by a yard on the 4th down play and that’s a TD.
  13. Total team loss. Josh had little time to get in a rhythm, hurried all day. Took off a few times when he should have set and thrown. Running game was terrible. Gotta get your running backs the ball more than 12 times on a day like yesterday. And just stop with these designed Josh runs before you get him injured. What killed us was the middle of the defense. Every person in the stadium knew it was not going to be a day to rely on the passing game. Defense gave up too many runs up the middle, some seemingly uncontested. Simply unacceptable. I’m not a fan of McD’s penchant to only provide a serious pass rush/blitz at the moment you need them, 3rd down, long 2nd down. Need to have a consistent, get in the QB’s face all game pass rush. Do that and set the tone and rattle the QB. Believe or D-backs are good enough to cover in those situations, not when the QB has extended periods to pass. And as stated above, gotta be better stuffing the middle.
  14. Don’t know if mentioned. Amazon Prime “The Boys”. Freaking good show. Strange at times, but good. First season just ended, 8 shows so an easy binge.
  15. The only way he does this is if they win the SB this year. That way he smashes our 4 in a row record (but with wins) and feels he cements himself as best all time. Then, and only then, does he move on. It would have to be a team that is good now (not the phins) and ready to win. wants to win another SB before he retires. Kinda feel he is chasing the ghost of Montana who took the chiefs to the playoffs both years there, and lost the AFC championship game to us in 93.
  16. How do we know he wasn’t approached by the CFL? Regardless, not what I as responding to. I said I believe he has talent enough to warrant a look, hence my belief he’s being black-balled. Pretty obvious based on being passed over for retreads by many teams in need of QB help he past few seasons.
