Elam by far is the best, because he’s a he first rounder. Dude will be starting. My favorite outside of Elam is Shakir. Feel this guy has all the tools to be a starter. Looking forward to his development. Next fav would be Bernard. Feel this is a sneaky good pick. Loved his presser. One that I got way too excited about? Araiza.

Liability. Even though he would willingly sign a contract, the team who signs him would be turned off by the liability issue.

Rd 5, Pick 148 (5): WR Khalil Shakir, Boise St

Seems to have good acceleration. Like how he concentrates and tracks the ball on the longer passes. Seems fluid. Good hands from what I’ve watched of him. Then again, they don’t post the bad stuff on YouTube, etc. Either way, like this kid and believe he will be a great fit in our offense before the end of the season. -
Rd 2, Pick 63 (31): RB James Cook, Georgia

He seemed restrained. No problem there. Said how excited he was. Young kid, give him time to acclimate to the press. Take a look at some of the pictures on the Bills website. Smiling when not in front of the camera and looking more comfortable. How could he not be excited to play with Allen, Diggs and co.? -
@Logic Thanks for the overview. I love all the picks now knowing all that were made. Top end was great - very good CB as a need. Excellent back to help take the pressure off of Josh when he gets in trouble. Linebacker who is a tacking machine, and a real gamer. WR who looks like he could be a top 2 on the team with some time, and has great hands, fluid and can track the ball really well. Punter who is honest about what he does well and what he needs to fix. The remaining players, hope they add competitiveness. Overall, great draft. Not a draft for glaring needs and thats how it was handled. CB was the pick most of need and they killed it. Love the fact we were drafting from the perspective of a team who could truly take BPA versus a team that needed to hit on every pick as we did in past years.

Rd 6, Pick 180 (1): Punter Matt Araiza, San Diego State

Important to know how the stats were compiled. Total # of punts and field position would be very important. A lot of what they showed by Araiza were punts from the wrong side of the field. Makes sense when punting from your 10 to kick the heck out of the ball. Your 40? Different kind of kick. Love the kid, hope he is here for many years to come!! -

Watching his zoom. I love this kid! Smart and well spoken. Has taken the time to learn how to hold from former NFL pro kickers. Also has taken the time to practice directional kicking. Cool. -

Watching his zoom call. Dude reminds me of Keanu Reeves the way he talks! -

Allright. 7 picks until the Bills. -
Round 6 Pick 209 (31): OT Luke Tenuta, Virginia Tech

Wouldn't that be saying Tenuta isn't a good player? Round 17 OL would be competition for Hart. -

Don't disagree they will be an obstacle. The real problem is Mahomes carries the team and until he doesn't, they will be the problem team for us. And as a FYI, I hate the chiefs. Just being analytical. -

Mathieu for sure. Big loss, both on the field and in the locker room. Personally would love the dude on the Bills if we had the need. Hill? Not so much. Leadership is more than great plays on the field. It's also how you handle yourself in public and in the locker room - See: Josh Allen. -

The big hit is Mathieu. Can't believe they didn't resign him. Don't get me wrong hill is a very good player. Just feel he was one of those they felt they had to force the ball to. Now they can spread it around which scares me. As long as Greenburg isn't on, i'm good with it. I switched from NFLN to ESPN a round ago. Better later round coverage and conversation. -

Hill is a huge loss for sure. Thing is, they will adapt and use the pieces they got to not skip a beat, and improve their team by not focussing so much on a single guy. Hate it, but that's how good Reid is. -

Based solely on losing Hill? Feel juju, MVS and Skyy make up for his loss and actually add to the team. Hate saying it, but feel they improved. -

I grade our draft pretty high based on how it helps our team. Of course jets, baltimore and kc will get the top reviews by networks which is fine. jets have a terrible team and need all the help they can get. Draft was good, but no significant bump this year. Baltimore killed it, but have no clue how they fit all these guys on the roster. kc improved their team for sure and the one I am the most concerned with. -

Bills have 209 in 6th round. Little bit of a wait.
