  1. I don’t remember 2 missed targets unless they’re counting deflection interception by Winfield as a target to kincaid. Nonetheless, Kincaid needs the ball more. He’s catching 90% of his targets.
  2. Agree with your logic, but we all know an extra time out would’ve been used on the defensive side of the ball. It’s like the opposing offense is working with their timeouts plus the Bills timeouts at end of games.
  3. Be more like Josh. Coach with the swagger you should because #17 is on your side. No more turtle coaching at end of games.
  4. It’s interesting that he seems to be rushing a lot against the other teams Right Tackle when you think he’d have less bend in his surgically repaired right knee. His bend is what makes him a Hall of Famer and it’s not there yet, but you’d think he’d have more bend going outside against Left Tackles with his left knee.
  5. due to end of game turtle coaching. I actually think mcdermott is very good coach until crunch time. It’s possible he’s that way because Josh has shown a propensity for some Yolo meltdowns, but we ain’t reaching the mountain top until mcdermott coaches to win at the end of games.
  6. It was definitely a signing 90% brought on due to 13 seconds of turtle coaching.
  7. Agreed. How can a 340 pound DT who’s got a 230lb baker mayfield fully wrapped up not take him to the ground without a penalty?
  8. I just don’t think Mcdermott is good at end of game decisions where feeling the flow of the game and specifically factoring in the other teams strengths and weaknesses is more important than analytics that tell you generic percentages. He’s like the anti Mariano Rivera.
  9. Other than the first 3 quarters of last nights game, they haven’t been dominant at all the past 4 weeks.
  10. Normally I’d say it’s not a big deal, but Mayfield has the arm to reach the end zone from his own 35-40 yard line. He’s shown that in the past. The goal should’ve been staying out of his range to reach the end zone, not taking 4 seconds off clock. Mac Jones or Deshaun Watson, yeah I’m trading 7-10 yards for 4 seconds there because there’s not enough time for them to reach the end zone.
  11. What are you even talking about at this point? It was a great play by Harty where he took advantage of a terrible punt. Had nothing to do with blocking.
  12. You really think we’re converting there? The whole team including the offense goes into turtle mode at end of games. yes. because their punter kicked a 35 yard line drive that Harty caught on the run. That was all Harty making a good play on a terrible punt. Nice try though
  13. The punts though frustrating were the right calls. It’s what leads up to that where lack of discipline and coaching show up. The back to back punt return holds are inexcusable. Martin was fantastic and defense did its job with two 3 and outs and then 2 idiots on special teams cost 45 yards in field position. Yet nobody loses their job. Same with Phillips. The defense plays great, wins the game and then complete moron play by him. Yet he won’t lose his job. No accountability because our QB has propped everybody else up the last 3+ years.
  14. Agreed but you don’t think you need Henry to do that. Harris needs to be replaced if he ain’t coming back soon. Replacing dodson and Phillips/Ford/Settle probably more pressing
  15. It’s really a shame that he turtles up at end of games. He’s really a terrific coach otherwise but it is a fatal flaw.
  16. c’mon. there are some overboard takes but you’re not concerned that we played great on both sides of ball for 3 quarters and still almost puked the game away to a mediocre team with a semi-hobbled QB? Especially with Mcdermott’s 13 second past?
  17. McDermott turtling at end of games is unfortunately what he’ll best be remembered for when book is written on his time here. And it’s a shame because he’s done a lot of great things in his 6+ years here.
  18. The fact that there are still people defending mcdermott after last night is insane. Almost everything that can go wrong will go wrong at end of games with him at the helm. He chokes with his defensive timeouts and his team chokes. Tampa had no business being in that game at the end and were a Godwin not turning his head around in time from winning. We were a ref missed call away from losing to tyrod taylor and Mac Jones carves us up going 75 yards in 90 seconds. There’s a reason we have largest point differential last 3 years and nothing to show for it. The man chokes at end of games and so does his team.
  19. No accountability. It’s why his team is undisciplined and plays stupid. Call somebody out for once! The punt return unit cost 45 total yards in field position on back to back punts. Phillips shouldn’t be on team after that idiotic penalty.
  20. That was actually the right call. Tampa runs clock down and tries field goal with no time left. the timeout forced a punt because Bills could very well score with time left on clock getting the ball at 50 after missed 60 yarder. The defensive timeouts at end of game in the other hand are idiotic.
  21. A championship caliber coach would bench Cam Lewis as well. Simply inexcusable to get holding penalty on the very next punt after Siran Neal holding penalty took you from the 50 to your own 17.
  22. The end of game defensive timeouts sum up everything about McDermott. Dude wets his pants at the end of games. Unless you don’t have 11 guys on the field, these timeouts help the offense more than the defense 99% of the time. Never gonna get to the mountaintop when your head coach and your team play too tight at end of games.
  23. He let him step into a 60 yard throw. What was he spying… a 60 yard scramble?
  24. they effectively only rushed 3. Jordan dumbass Phillips stood at the LOS and just let Mayfield step into the throw. Guess he was guarding against the 60 yard scramble
