It’s hard to say anything else when you can’t bring yourself to say that the attempt to defeat the election through the use of fake electors was and is wrong. I can’t imagine anything more unamerican than what Trump tried to do.

There was no such Democratic scheme. And you still haven’t spoken against Trump’s fake elector scheme. It’s good to know where you stand (or don’t stand, as the case may be). I believe in our democratic republic and the rule of law. You don’t. It is what it is.

With respect to the stability point, I could never believe that they put a slippery character in charge of an NFL franchise. Better to address the issue too late than not at all.

Google Peter Gerace. It’s a saga. The thumbnail is that it’s a mob trial involving a(n allegedly) crooked DEA agent who protected his buddy (Gerace, allegedly of LCN) so that the buddy could move product and drug up young women for trafficking purposes at the buddy’s strip joint. The buddy apparently also had a local judge effectively on payroll. That judge dealt with some minor legal stuff involving the buddy’s ex and, when the story broke, the judge tried to kill himself by laying down in front of a train. That didn’t work, and the judge eventually pleaded guilty by suicide following an FBI raid of his home. It’s explosive stuff, and the scuttlebutt in the legal community is that there are other high-profile patrons of that establishment whose identities will be revealed at trial. The connection here is that the subject of this thread may be related (I’m not sure about this point) to a local mob rat from the 1980s of the same name.

I have some questions about the management move. There's a big trial that's going to occur in federal court here. Someone's family has prior connections to at least one of the defendants in that trial. Then there's this big construction project going on here. That much is pure speculation on my part. But I also think, watching the pressers, that someone forgot who the big dog was in the arrangement and may have outgrown his britches. On the other side of it, a recent low-level ADA who butchered the Araiza situation now is GC and on the management team. So I don't know what to think, other than none of it gives me confidence.

Don't forget the guy who posted the crazy theory to which you responded also is a part-time commie. So he's part cult, part commie. Trying to reason with people like that is like trying to teach a chicken about gravity. It's not going to happen.

It doesn't sound like it based on the tenor of the press release and the fact that it happened on a Wednesday. The whole thing is odd.

It depends, I suppose. Less fat than MAGA dudes? Probably so. But there’s a lot of women MAGA and, from my anecdotal observation, they know a thing or two about trans fats. Bottom line: MAGA gluttony is a gender-neutral thing. I can’t believe that video is real. WTF.

Women definitely are more intelligent than most of the dudes who post their MAGA nonsense here, that’s for sure.

You could have used those keystrokes to say that the failed fake elector scheme was bad. But you didn’t.
