  1. Hoax. To tremble and quake in fear also is to worry.
  2. Hoax. https://www.newsweek.com/how-talk-covid-deniers-1525496 Additional Rule #2 evidence:
  3. Hoax. I can’t even understand that gibberish.
  4. SEC isn’t in the thread. And, for what it’s worth, the SEC is even worse than the Big 10 in this respect. Bottom line: I place the health of children over money and my own entertainment. You don’t. It was as of 24 hours ago. When this was allegedly about the kids. Now, I agree with you - spring football is not a good plan unless the fall schedule 2021 schedule is reduced or modified. Asking kids to play up to 23 games in a calendar year is a bad, bad idea. And I suppose asking them to play up to 18 (8 game RS schedule in each of spring/fall; 2 possible conference championship games) isn’t a good plan either. So the best plan probably would have been to have cancelled the 2020 season altogether. But, as we know, money drives the NCAA and now, apparently, the Big 10, so we’re just going to roll the dice and see what happens.
  5. See Washington State re: your last point. Is the daily antigen testing foolproof? To my understanding, it’s not. So why not wait until Spring? If this truly is about “student athletes,” then there should be no harm in waiting until Spring to give science the opportunity to get a better handle on the pandemic. But, as we know, this really is about the conference’s TV and bowl contracts, so we’ll unnecessarily rush the kids back in and see what happens.
  6. In other news, they buy food and have to wear a mask to both enter and remain therein. Sturgis, by contrast, involved a bunch of people on motorcycles who ate, drank, and listened to Smashmouth with nary a mask in sight. Otherwise, basically apples to apples.
  7. Has the SEC been discussed in this thread? Nope. At issue here is the Big 10. My points have been noted. Like I said, if you find the exploitation of children for the benefit of adults acceptable, that’s on you. I see it differently. I suppose we hold different values, and it’s best to leave things at “that.”
  8. Now we’re getting somewhere. In the absence of foolproof testing, amateurs whose activities support large paychecks for administrators and coaches shouldn’t be exposed to risk of either death or significant long term physical consequence for the purpose of playing a game. In other words, I’m against the exploitation of children and young adults. You apparently feel differently, and that’s fine. Thank you for not tarnishing your prior post with lies, exaggerations, and falsehoods.
  9. Hoax. Trumpers are the only ones worried about Antifa. The rest of us realize it’s another crackpot conspiracy theory borne of political expedience and necessity because the fat guy’s firewall of gullibles is starting to crack.
  10. Hoax. I have a lot of intellectual superiors. But I don’t think he is one of them, at least from what I can tell. And I definitely didn’t make his rules my rules. The rules remain those of DR. And, last I checked, conservatives follow the rules. So it looks like you agree that you should adhere to Rule #2.
  11. But not a person. Got it. Carry on.
  12. Is that an image of you tuning scared of the communist arsonists, like Smoky the Bear, in Antifa? The hair is on fire, so it seems like an arsonist may be involved. Please advise.
  13. Trump himself. No noise about the danger of COVID-19 in March (when, as Trump himself acknowledges on the Woodward tapes, he knew of the dangers of that virus) because Trump didn't want to want to "create a panic." https://www.npr.org/2020/09/12/912081447/trump-says-he-prevented-panic-on-pandemic-thats-not-his-usual-approach. But in September 2020 Trump is voicing and sending alerts about this fictional terrorist organization (that, it should be noted, apparently flourished under Trump's watch, to the extent it is not a hoax) given the grave threat that this imaginary outfit poses to law and order everywhere. https://www.forbes.com/sites/andrewsolender/2020/09/13/theyll-attack-your-homes-trump-campaign-sends-antifa-alert-to-supporters/#7088d0792a51 Face it. Trump and his followers (the Fa, if you will) quake in fear of Antifa. They tremble at the mere mention of the name. Because they never know where these communist arsonists anti-fa people, who now apparently include the formerly venerable Smoky the Bear, will strike next. It's the only explanation for the myopic focus on the anti-fa during this campaign.
  14. There's a big difference between entering this country and exercising one's right to vote when within this country. Let's start from the top here. Do you have any evidence of a critical mass of voter fraud in states that employ a strictly signature-based voter identification system and therefore do not require production of a photo identification as a predicate to the right to vote; yes or no? If so, please provide that evidence. This is the second time this issue has been raised in this thread, and I'll assume in the absence of evidence in your next post that you acknowledge that there is no such proof, and that your contention that photo identification is necessary to prevent voter fraud is a hoax. To that extent I'll also assume that you snipe at yourself. Have a nice day.
  15. Paragraph 1. No. Nice try at spinning a lie. I never said that. I'm against kids playing when it is not demonstrably safe to participate in view of COVID-19 concerns. Paragraph 2. No. NFL players are professionals and are paid to assume the risk of participation. "Kids," as you aptly noted in this paragraph, is an appropriate term. The adults in the room, who I note profit from the labor of the "kids" in this context," must make an adult decision and protect the "kids" from themselves and from the caprice of adults. Common sense, not politics, drives this point. I don't believe that "kids" should be exploited so adults can profit handsomely and so that the masses can be entertained. Paragraph 3: Who said that, in the absence of intercollegiate football, these players would be evicted from college housing and return to "poverty stricken, crowded homes?" Only you. Final note: let me know when you're ready to have a discussion not infected by politics, emotion, and, with respect, your lies. I'll be around all day.
  16. Maybe since you're bored you could find some Rule #2 evidence to support your positions. Just a friendly suggestion. This is not Rule #2 evidence of your aforementioned request. Please comply. Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation.
  17. Do you know what bigotry means? Honest question. And fill me in why signature match isn't an acceptable form of evidence of identification. Maybe you have things like, you know, data or evidence with respect to in-person voting fraud that the signature system didn't prevent. Or it could be that you're just buying in to another Trump hoax and trope with respect to voter ID. Perhaps this answers your question about why one needs an ID to purchase alcohol in this country. There's no signature on file at the grocery store to confirm the identity of the person buying the alcohol. But there is in the voter registration book created by the board of elections. So save your tropes for another day.
  18. Nope. If the tests aren't foolproof, then the kids shouldn't be exposed to risk of permanent health damage. Why would you have posted such a silly response to my prior point?
  19. Hoax. Show me the request.
  20. Yeah, we need a little Rule #2 evidence here. Otherwise we'll have to assume it's just another one of your hoaxy lies.
  21. Hoaxx. These are the people who tremble in fear of Antifa! I bet they run from monsters under their bed at night, too! Hoax. From what I can tell, there has always been a profound amount of stupidity here. Non-trumper posters have just injected a little bit of intelligence here and there lately. So actually there's probably the same amount of stupid, and now just a little more smart.
  22. Hoax. I haven't screamed anything. Still waiting for your Rule #2 evidence. Unless, of course, this is just another one of your hoaxy lies and there is no Rule #2 evidence.
  23. Fake news. Our leader has blood on his hands. And he doesn't care about the people who died. He even held a maskless rally yesterday! If you were one of the suckers and losers who sacrificed for this disease, he wouldn't care that you were dead. As long as he wins re-election. Losers like you are the ones who support him most ardently, but losers like you are also the ones whom he despises the most.
  24. No link no proof. Tool.
  25. Now imagine if almost 200,000 Americans died for no good reason and our leader shrugged his fat shoulders and said simply that it is what it is. And you support that loser. Sad!
