  1. I'm with you. I'd rather have an effective banger than a speed guy. I'm not sold on Moss. No pop. Maybe it was the toe injury. Hopefully he proves me wrong.
  2. A Trumper complaining about lies. Interesting.
  3. Great post. The party of Lincoln sold out and became a party of lies. MTG is applauded and Lynn Cheney is censured. Says it all. also, speaking of magical disappearances, trump is gone and we’re still dealing with this virus. So one of them magically disappeared, but the other one ... not so much.
  4. So I shouldn’t send the HCQ gummies, the Lysol, or the bleach. Got it. Kind of surprising, considering how hard you fell for the HCQ hoax. I figured you’d go with the gummies. But I guess not.
  5. Nope. It’s not the most dangerous drug ever. It’s just not an effective treatment for COVID. But some kool aid guzzling Qs still think otherwise.
  6. Lemmings. Ironic.
  7. Historically, yes. This MRNA stuff is a bit different - and pretty cool. Amazing technology.
  8. No, but I wish it was. Sun score is pretty good, but I have a very, very strange roof (the house is pretty modern) and solar is a tough install.
  9. I think that was Trump's idea, but he did it wrongly. Coal is dead. We're not making refrigerators or whatever here anymore. We're better off letting someone else do that at poverty-level wages and importing that type of consumable (crass, I know, but it's the truth). The "new" manufacturing has to be of a "green" nature. Time to reinvent and to educate so we're the world leader in that area for hundreds of years.
  10. Of course, the Canadians smartly knew that we would never let that happen because we wouldn't have wanted the Soviets in Niagara on the Lake.
  11. Maybe we should go back to the days of relying on magic, bleach, and Lysol to try to combat the virus. Also, you spelled Trump Virus wrong. This is a solid point. I'm going to cancel my NYT subscription and get all of my news from OANN, the My Pillow guy/psycho, and MTG. Hoax.
  12. Nope. And also not through Lysol and/or bleach. Also, I'm sorry about your mother. Sincere condolences.
  13. Less bad is still bad. I'm not arguing for a thicker safety net. Hinting at the divide in this country that will grow as a result of the K-shaped recovery. And also concerned about what I saw as a pre-Covid education gap in this country. We're generating classes of people that can either change the world through technology, or who top out at sandwich artistry. The absence of a middle isn't the government's fault, and it's not the government's responsibility to cure. But it will be a boil on society, and it might be something that we should all think about addressing (e.g., by figuring out the education messes in urban areas, etc.).
  14. Hmmm. I didn't say that Trump recommended those things. Nice try. But he did suggest the possibility of such injections to combat COVID-19.
  15. So ironic that a Trump supporter would complain about this. "I have the right to do whatever I want as President!" -then-President Donald J. Trump
  16. One option could simply be less bad than the other.
  17. Why only extremists who practice Islam? Why not any other extremists? .
  18. You and MTG seem to be birds of a feather.
  19. Speaking of hoaxes, how's hydroxychloroquine treatment going these days? Someone I know has COVID, and I was debating whether to send them Lysol and bleach, or some HCQ gummies. Thoughts?
  20. This isn't exactly true. The primary goal is to have everyone working at a livable wage.
  21. There is an element of truth to this. Maybe Romney & Co. will work with Biden break the dam a bit. I think it started, frankly, with McConnell, and the gridlock has become worse and worse since. This isn't directed at you, it's just an observation in general. Because of the fervor of the Q part of the GOP base and the belief that Democrats are evil, Republicans (both traditional, Trump, and Q) are generally unwilling to compromise. On my side of things, there is a temptation (to which I sometimes succumb) to stick it to the liars and hoaxers and all of the people responsible for the mistruths and chaos of the past four years. Ultimately, though, the best path is compromise. On the COVID-19 bill, for example, Romney has a point. We should be more surgical with respect to relief checks. I agree with Biden, however, that this needs to be a much bigger bill than what Romney wants. Maybe they can come together (Romney et al. have to give more than Biden) and do something constructive. Time will tell.
  22. Solid point. Now that it turns out that Antifa doesn't actually have an Air Force, and that "democrat-run" cities aren't in a perpetual state of flame, there isn't a lot to distract us from the treason of the losers who stormed the Capitol and those who continue to support them. I think we may need to start a Marjorie Taylor Greene Hoax List just to keep track of things that are real and things that are hoaxes in the eyes of the QOP. You don't have a very good memory. Sad. Must have forgotten about the storming of the Capitol already, too. Kind of like how Kevin McCarthy and pals have wiped it from their minds.
  23. Considering that the very full dumpster sitting in his driveway has a mattress sitting on top of it, I’ll be surprised if he comes back to Buffalo. I figured he was gone when I saw that thing show up a week or two ago.
  24. I agree with this, but I'll take it a step further. I wonder if we need a better short yardage back, too. One of the things I think we have to do next year is ensure that Josh Allen is not our best short yardage back. We had a couple of close calls this year -- the Bosa thing against the Chargers, and I think one in the playoffs, too. Nothing can derail a season like an injury to Allen.
  25. Yup. Moss and Singletary are basically .250 hitters in baseball. No special attributes for either one; neither is fast, one is more elusive than the other and one is more powerful than the other. But neither is powerful enough, and neither is elusive enough.
