  1. I know, right? I'd try to connect the dots for Tom, but I'm trying to watch a football game here.
  2. "I really don't want to be rude but this post is just so incredibly stupid on so many levels. You're so far out of your depth, and you don't even know enough to know how far out of your depth you are. If you had a clue you'd be embarrassed for having said this." See what I did there? Never mind......
  3. I can't help you, you're an idiot. 😇(I was responding to a specific poster by referencing statements I made in an earlier post)
  4. If my first statement is incorrect, I apologize. If it is correct and you were wrongly accused and sentenced for a crime you did not commit, I am very sorry and apologize. I stand by my second statement; if you don't commit a crime you have nothing to worry about. If you are worried about the "flaws" in the system in general, exercise your vote, take up residence elsewhere or find a way to lobby for change. Using the example of a child molester getting a few years added to his "honorable deal" is a pretty poor venue for making the points you are trying to make, regardless of their validity. I stand by my third statement: not committing crimes is not that difficult.
  5. Me thinks Rob has gotten the shaft from a judge more than once! If you don't want to risk getting screwed by a flawed system, don't commit a crime. It's really not that difficult of an accomplishment.
  6. Let him fair catch every one. Why risk injury when we have proven we cannot return a punt without a blocking penalty.
  7. I would say that's the risk you run when you are a child molester. The judge sets the sentence, not the prosecutor. It seems highly unlikely the deal that was struck didn't come with a proviso that "anything can happen".
  8. Gotta tell ya - this is my favorite thread right now.
  9. How is that a miscarriage of justice or a threat? Isn't the judge within his rights to act as he did? Why does he HAVE to go along with some deal that a prosecutor cut? That doesn't seem like an abuse of power, but rather an exercise of his discretion. If the deal cut isn't a fair one in the public interest, then he did the right thing. And anyone that cops to a crime like that doesn't deserve to be honored with a deal that others (i.e. a judge) deem unfair. In this case, maybe he took the plea so as to not have everything he did come out in detail during the trial. Those revelations could have been horrific. And I'm not directing these questions to you specifically as a challenge, but rather out of my own ignorance of the specifics of the process in play.
  10. I read Sully for the same reason I listen to WGR - so I'll have some context for all the "hate" threads. Lot of them to keep up on! Maybe they should be pinned....?
  11. King has written a very interesting Part 1 of a series on game planning with the Cardinals - I had no idea they were using virtual reality hardware for game planning. Good stuff: http://mmqb.si.com/mmqb/2015/11/17/nfl-carson-palmer-arizona-cardinals-inside-game-plan
  12. Let's not muddy the waters with facts.
  13. I say we send this guy to Brady's hotel room the night before the game. I bet he "oversleeps" and misses the game.
  14. Why watch? Why indeed.....
  15. From the recipe: "These showstoppers are great at parties. For added effect, mix in coconut (tapeworms) ramen noodles (roundworms), or peanuts. You can also coat the scoop with melted chocolate for a startling effect."
  16. Is Kuala Lumpur named after the bear, or is the bear named after Kuala Lumpur? Where's Fergy when we need him?
  17. Boyst might recognize some of these heifers
  18. I'm in. These will be mine. Caution - these are not gluten free! And may contain pieces of corn or nuts.
  19. That's what makes it so thread-worthy! The best threads are either: a) when there is monumental news; or b) when we are just spitballin'
  20. If by "catches fire" you mean "crashes and burns" - then I'm on board.
  21. So nice he had to say it twice!
  22. If the Bills win, I will have my camera mounted on a tripod to video the monkeys flying out of my butt.
  23. I will spend this week deciding whether I will turn off the game once we are down by either 3 or 4 TDs. If we kick a FG when down by 3TDs, it's also being turned off.
  24. I enjoy Peter King's MMQB and read it every week. Interesting stuff - almost always. I'm looking forward to his upcoming game planning feature. I'm jealous Metz, he's one media guy I'd love to hang with for an evening. The other is Easterbrook. Both are well-rounded, insightful and smart.
