  1. My feelings are a little hurt by this thread....
  2. We are confident that social distancing can be an effective tool in reducing COVID risks in the NFL because we have successfully conducted a pilot program for several years in which defenders have been required to stay at least six feet away from Tom Brady.
  3. Like many other businesses managing through uncertain outcomes, the NFL feels the prudent course of action at this time is to reduce expenses where possible. I personally feel it is important to lead by example during these unprecedented times and thus have offered to offset my own salary so as to better protect the jobs of others in the league office.
  4. After a thorough investigation, the NFL has concluded that no in-person meeting took place between Tom Brady and any member of the Buccaneer organization. In connection with this conclusion, Tampa Bay has been awarded a fourth round compensatory pick in the 2021 draft.

  15. As of now the league office is planning to hold the 2020 draft as scheduled, however we continue to evaluate the impact of the COVID-19 virus on NFL operations and will make any and all decisions with the safety of players, team employees, and the general public utmost in mind.
  16. I am very happy to report the NFL ownership group and players’ association have reached a mutually beneficial agreement that creates additional benefits for both current and former players, and improves the excitement of playoff races and games for the fans.

  19. Due to an oversight by the league office, New England was not granted a 4th round compensatory pick. That pick has now been awarded. To compensate the Patriots for their pain and suffering, the league has also granted New England a 5th round compensatory pick.
  20. No matter the topic, hearing feedback from our fans is a critical step in the league’s decision making process.
  21. While I appreciate the sentiment, your thanks is not required. Ensuring the fans have the best possible experience rooting for their favorite NFL team is the most enjoyable part of my job.
