  1. K, thanks for the clarification.
  2. GR reporting Epenesa out of practice with a concussion. Could SOMEONE in the press actually do their jobs and ask what the hell is going on with these practice injuries? This is ridiculous now.
  3. Old man take: The league should make the home team wear its official home unis at home. I dont care that its hot down there. Nobody told you to put a team in Florida.
  4. This is very similar to American 191, where an engine fell off on takeoff from a DC-10, the predecessor to the MD-11. That was attributed to bad maintenance practices that compromised the engine mounts to the point of failure. Im not completely surprised that UPS aims the parts cannon at problems, especially for older planes like this. They, like all airlines, are under a lot of pressure to keep their planes in the air. If they are in hangars they aint making money.
  5. Profoundly disappointed. I truly think the hubris of this regime is going to doom this team to the fate of the ringless San Diego Chargers and for Josh Allen to be nothing more than another Phillip Rivers. I hope Im wrong.
  6. Im sorry you died.
  7. I am. I feel like Im going to die. 🤪
  8. I cant wait for Schopp's contrarian perspective on this whole disaster.
  9. THIS is the proper perspective. Its NOT "We have Josh so we dont have to do anything." Its "We have Josh so we SHOULD do something."
  10. I cant wait for them to get Harrison Phillips and tomorrow Sal is going to say how great it is because "he knows the system." Even though he hasnt played here since Pancho Billa (RIP) was alive.
  11. EXACTLY. Personally, I dont need the org to go all "F them picks." But there are needs and this team is so close and....Josh is pushing thirty and his "clock" is starting to tick like Mona Lisa Vito's. To just stand pat and do nothing and just take this passive "yeah but we have the QB" approach is in my mind a dereliction of duty.
  12. Oh thats right...I forgot there are literally NO OTHER TEAMS with good QBs in the NFL.
  13. Hes like "this team has been good enough to win the Super Bowl since 2020" EXCEPT THE FACT THEY DIDNT EVEN MAKE IT TO THAT GAME, YOU NOT GETTING INTO THE HOF PROPAGANDIST JESUS HAROLD CHRIST.
  14. Steve Tasker on GR is enraging me right now. Basically saying the team is ready to win it all as-is. They just need to "play better" in the playoffs.

    RIP Donna Jean

They werent "the same" for sure, but the second half of the 80s was PEAK. I got to see Donna perform with Dead and Company at CitiField when she made a cameo. Performance-wise there was nothing notable to her being there but Im very grateful (haha) that I did get to see her perform next to Bobby.
  16. Is pinning the Chiefs in their red zone with no timeouts and little time with the way the Bills D was playing really "playing not to lose?" Not really, IMHO.
  17. I stopped reading when you blamed McD for the three passes. Sean McDermott does not run the offense play by play and if you dont know that by now I dont know what to tell you. As far as the FG goes, there was no real "wrong" call there but also none without risk and as we see here, none that would not have had the anti-McD people up in arms if it failed.
  18. LONG LIVE THERMOS THOMAS. Ive been with these since they started. They make my week.
  19. Lets pump the brakes a bit. He's a guy whose best year was 6 sacks. Really nice player, would have helped a lot. A LOT. But lets not act like the Bills lost 1992 Bruce Smith here.
  20. Im looking at it that losing Hoecht is not really a "loss" because with only 7 quarters of games played, he really wasnt "here" to begin with. Its more like "what could have been."
  21. This is why I always handwave the discussions about "next year" when it always turns to "the team will be better because [so and so] will be back from injury." But then "next year" someone else will be injured. You cant escape it. There are injuries in all sports of course but its so much more prevalent in this league, just due to the nature of the game.
  22. Yeah that play sucked and Bills should have done better on it but Im not losing sleep over the fact that one of the best QBs ever on one of the best teams ever coached by one of the best offensive coaches ever was successful on one big play against the Bills. Simpler…It’s the Chiefs. Sooner or later they were gonna get theirs.
  23. If Im correct, some of these people are no longer with us.
  24. It is a point of pride for sure. It will stick in my craw a little bit if its now a "shared" record, yes. That said...while the four losses hurt, that era as a whole is a source of pride and great, fun memories for the Bills and their fans. We got to watch about ten hall of fame players in their prime, including some all time greats like Bruce Smith, on the same team at once for almost a decade. And the game day party in Orchard Park was off the hook. Outside of those four lousy Sundays, it was the best and that record being tied or falling will never change that.
  25. As many of you know, the original "mafia" was: THE SPANDEX MAFIA I still ride lots BTW. Road, mountain, fixie, you name it. Anyone want to discuss all things cycling, Im your huckleberry.
