Better to your flak helmet on.

Now that the king of hot takes has agreed with me, I need to reevaluate my opinion.

Yeah, let's crap on the only DL who's made plays this season and has played out of his natural position. Lord knows, Pegula needs to watch his checkbook to pay $15 million to Star & Murphy next year (and count about $20 million towards the salary cap) . Much better to keep those guys and get a JAG to replace J Phillips.

These articles don’t say what you think they’re saying. Try calling someone who wrote one of those pieces to explain it.

Comedian Imitates 90s Jerry Seinfeld: Rips Him About Young Girlfriend

Did they marry your 38-yr old uncles? Everything is relative. Even though back in the day, 17-yr olds married, chances are they were wed to someone near their age. For a 17-yr old to marry a 38-yr old was certainly odd, because the guys probably had another 10 years to live. -
Not really. I thought Taylor would get the call in week 4. Perhaps he didn’t know the defense enough. Won’t be long before Taylor starts eating into Star’s snaps.

Any moment for this thread to move to the dark side

Their rationale is pretty basic. Since day 1 paint Trump as unstable and dangerous to the Republic. Continue to roll out allegations that keep painting him in that light. Use media supplicants to control the narrative. When Trump & DOJ fight back, drown it out with noise and charges of political retribution.

Some rational observers would like to see the defense, in the 3rd year of a defensive coach's tenure exert its will on inferior opponents. It's expected that a project QB in his second year will struggle. This may seem nitpicky to some, but we can't ignore the spectacular luck Bills enjoyed thanks to 2 opposing kicker meltdowns. But even leaving that out, everyone forgets the tremendous luck against the Jets when Robbie Anderson got clear behind coverage twice late in 4Q, how they let Giants hang around too long, allowed Cincy to drive down the field for the entire second half. This defense still struggles with veteran QBs three years into McD's regime. That's why this discussion is very apt in this thread. Were they aggressive enough to add to the pass rush when game changing players were available? You can argue that Adrian Clayborn and Ziggy Ansah are far better options opposite Hughes than what Murphy has been delivering. Would this defense be strides better with Khalil Mack, and without Ed Oliver and whoever will be next year's first rounder? Chances are that Bills don't pick in Top 10 in '19 anyway if Mack was on the roster. The irresponsible transactions can also include sitting pat and collecting mid-late round draft picks. That in itself is a contradiction. If Beane is somewhat happy with his roster now in a fight for the playoffs, will the team be much more improved next year utilizing its 9 draft picks (5 selections in rounds 5-6) or use some of that late round draft capital to acquire a proven player now? Beane & McDermott keep talking about building through the draft, but after 3 drafts by this regime, only 1 pick out of 11 in the late rounds (Milano) is a starter. Three drafts is enough history to judge a front office and at this point it's certainly valid for a rational observer to question a strategy that hordes late round picks for future potential at the expense of using them to add bona fide NFL talent.

The Media's Portrayal of Trump and His Presidency

Like it's going to be hard to fill those spots in the next 24 hours. -
Going to Miami or Bengals is worse than sitting out the last 9 weeks of the season.

Not every player. Other players don't have history, baggage, stature or bank accounts to make demands when they're on waivers.

It depends on how much money he still has in the bank. If he's liquid, he can tell teams he won't show up if he's claimed BTW, do we still hold Dri Archer's rights?

Would you like to die of a heart attack or cancer? The answer to the above question would be the first country to fully abandon its communist roots. -

The flip side of his piece is that the West shouldn't at all be concerned about Russia having open access to the Mediterranean, because they've been such great stewards of peace. It's like extolling virtues of Sunni terrorists because they're not Shias -
No serious person would dispute the tariffs' effect on the US economy. But no serious person would dispute the underlying fundamental strength of the US that can bear the shock of the tariffs. Comparing the sub 2.0% growth rates in Obama's terms vs Trump's term is like crowing about Sabres 10 game win streak under Housley, when all serious observers knew it wasn't sustainable because the fundamentals weren't there.

Isn't that the whole point?

Except one bank's decision to loosen credit standards on a segment of loans in a fully depreciating asset class is nothing like an entire industry loosening credit standards on broad sectors which didn't have asset depreciation, and was fully supported by all the regulators.
