half the olinemen you name aren't as good as the olinemen we have. if you havne't noticed, they've been a different group of guys under mcnally. adrian klemm? do you realize there's a reason belickick can't wait to let him walk? Now Bubba Franks...now we're talkin'. Abraham doesn't really fit the gray defense, but he'd be nice. Eddie Berlin...interesting. Re-sign Jennings.

Roster moves: Euhus on IR, Bradford Banta signed

a loooottta goose eggs on his stat sheet. http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/1544 -
Tom and Tom have done a great job bringing in quality people and quality players. There's no question about it. McGee might be one of the best value gems in years, the Peerless for Willis trade was ballsy and brilliant, Bledsoe gave the team credibility when it desperately needed it, and there haven't been any negative issues or embarrassments. The organization is in good hands.

man, it sucks having to hope other teams

I will confidently make this prediction: If the bills get in, they win at least one playoff game. I know they can beat SD, Denver, the jets, and Ravens right now. I also think our D could contain manning and teh colts, but it would still be a tough game. I think the colts are a better contest than teh steelers. i have watched them closely and while lebeau has them playing great D, their O doesn't scare me at all. I'd like nothing more than to shut them down in week 16 and then beat them in Pittsburgh to move on the AFC championship game vs the pats, where we win 56-2. I should have stopped while I was ahead...damn. -
"White Noise" movie should be freaking

I heard that same tape, and the guy clearly says "pommade maypole foglace the bandana hatch sneeze", not that tripe you uttered. sheesh. -
just to give the bills a chance at the big tournament. FUG those first two games! if we only had the Raiders a little later, and if only Nate knocks that ball down...if only if only if only if only i could stop saying if only. i'll get over it. eventually.

it's hard to make sense of evp. There's clearly something out there, and strange voice phenomenon has been proven in several controlled studies, but how can you draw a conclusion? that's the problem...some think it's random bits of conversation in the radio haze that gets distorted and bleeps in and out of reception...others think ghosts. Who knows. But pheomena sure are interesting. check out the history channel tonight at midnight. Ever heard of the Dropa stones? Interesting stuff. -
OT -- Scott Peterson verdict due momentarily

WHY IS THIS A POST ON OUR BEAUTIFUL FOOTBALL BOARD? can the lemmings please step aside? Please? -
the fascination isn't real, it's created. the media loves salacious stories like this one. It's nothing more than a tragic local news story. it has absolutely no business in the national forum. But saturating the news with it achieves two things: 1. it creates a 6 month long drama that people tune in to hear more about. It's essentially no different from a reality show about a gruesome murder. They won't admit that this is what they're thinking, but it most certainly is. 2. it keeps peoples minds off of other things, things that are more relevant to their lives for instance...thus ensuring that they'll be more inclined to continue to watch. I don't watch the news anymore. I saw the patterns. Anyone remember "shark season"? When all the media talked about was all the shark attacks? There were actually fewer attacks on people by sharks that year than the year before, before that, and before that, after it, etc. They just decided that sharks would be the distraction of the month. News is a $$-driven con, just like diamonds, just like pop music, just like so many things that ought to be different.

wondering. i like it when the Bills make history.

That fins game was pricey. When you lose your two starting TEs, your offense has fewer options. I hope Clements and Mularkey can find a way to make peters effective, cuz Neufeld ain't gonna scare anyone by himself. Josh Reed needs to really step up his game for the over the middle/underneath stuff. He played well last week on his...catch.
-
and the week before, they put up 277 yards passing on the Pats, and some more on the ground. They weren't panzies, the Bills just made them look like it. for as slow as the offense started, and as poorly as the team was coached the past 3 years, you HAVE to give Donahoe credit for having built a SB caliber defense. The key now is to keep it together, and continue to bolster it with more talent. It's nice to look forward to games again. We're contenders, and that's all we can ask.

Thanks, but "nuts" is a bit vague. I mean, it could really change the flavor completely if you chose say, macadamias instead of almonds, or peanuts instead of brazil nuts.

Not bad for a 'high motor' farm boy DE who owns a nursery and tree farm.

Have folks seen a better stiff arm than Mcgahee's?
nodnarb replied to Fake-Fat Sunny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i've never seen a better stiffarm. dillon has a good one, but he doesn't seem to use it as often as willis. willis is one strong dude, and you can see him flinging people away. Are his arms long or something? people just can't get inside him.... -
Denney gets a lot of bad press. He's a better run stopper than Kelsay. That's primarily what he was drafted to do - hold his end of the line. He's great literaly defending stretch plays. You heard me...great. He's limited as a pass rusher, so he gets killed on this board. He's cheap depth at LDE that is solid against the run and will get pressures here and there when needed. Many teams use a run stopper at LDE, especially when they have an inside guy who is good at rushing the passer or collapsing the pocket. Denney is often in when Ron Edwards is in. Kelsay is usually in when Sam and Pat are in. The defense is a flexible, flowing thing, and Denney has played solid in his role. The Pats have many solid defenders who don't have the stats because they're playing a role. An important role. Denney is one of those players for us. Posey is another.

one of those drops is on Moulds. All the others are on Drew's horrid throws. Look at the tape. Wrong side, wrong shoulder, too low, way off, etc.

man, you could fit an entire virginia ham in bettis' gaping maw.

Two prayers : Bills win & Jets win.
nodnarb replied to Losman-McGahee-Evans's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
this is the most pussified wish ever. the bills can beat the steelers. how about that? fug the jets. -
We need to clear this up... if the Bills AND Jets finish 10-6, we win? How? Doesn't conference record kill us? Or is there some kind of 'common opponent' rule thingy? If only I had waited two seconds, the preceding post would have prevented this post. Lotsa p's in that alliterative statement.

funny good, or funny bad? haven't looked at the game yet.

what company do you work for? sushi and kobe? sheesh. Nice gig. any tempura roll left?

Losman continues to show that he doesn't know how to slide. If he doesn't get slapped hard by a coach and shown how to do it, he won't have a long career. One of these days he'll put his head down into someone 150 pounds heavier and he'll come out of the pile with fused vertebrae. The kid needs to wise up about it. We'll need him, y'know?

pathetic 4 straight incompletions to give denver the game. PFFFT.
