    As to that comment about the first SB, Belichick took advantage of Kelly's ego (knowing he would want to air it out all day) with his defensive strategy. Should have pounded the ball with Thomas (until the Giants adjusted), who was fantastic in that game.

    He might be a small upgrade to all the DE mediocrity currently on the roster.

    Who is responsible for the 13 second defense? It was the same for 2 downs, so McDermott certainly didn't change it.

    They have enough mediocrity on the line now. Really need an impact guy.

    Strongly doubt the veracity of this, but even if true-- who cares? The entire D-Line is mediocre at best. Add a FA and get one of the Georgia lineman (although I don't know if any will be available to Buffalo after what they did at the Combine).

    I would trade defensive front seven's with the Bengals straight-up. Would they do it (Bills are #1, remember)?

    Defense has no difference makers. One good CB and a couple safeties. The front seven is really lacking. Coaching is always soft-- afraid of giving up a big play in a key spot (because they do).

    I will have a hard time watching this, for obvious reasons. Probably root against the Bengals, who jumped the Bills (in a way) with a great shutdown performance against the Chiefs. Not a big fan of Joey, either. Kind of has a smug smirk on his face most of the time. Would like to tell him what he can do with his stupid cigar-- LOL. No, I'm not bitter.

    Frazier is doing really well, given the circumstances. I'm assuming McDermott signed off on (or called ) the disastrous 13 second defense. Explains why Frazier is still employed.

    Should have raised them by an average of 13% (the McDermott Special).
