Alex Austin is sittin’ there on the Texans bench like Son of a B****!

D. All of the above. I think it is Josh finally deciding to take what the Defense gives him, and realizing that the team around him is so good, that we can dominate, without him having to do it all himself. it is currently just a blip on the radar, but if the Bills can sustain this style for awhile, this will be a fun season for all of us.

I know that many here have been unhappy with the Elam situation, and consider it a bad reflection on Beane's record, but what a freaking luxury to have a player of Elam's caliber waiting in the wings, to fill in for Tre White. He may not be a perfect match for McDermott's system, but he is a very skilled player, and in my opinion, is way better than any FA CB we could have found on the free agent market. I am much less stressed than I thought I would be with White's injury, thanks to a deep roster. In Beane we trust.

If you have a VPN, you can probably set your location to a US location, to avoid this issue.

Hypothetically… Brian Daboll gets the boot….
buffaloboyinATL replied to The 9 Isles's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would love to have Daboll back, but honestly, I think Dorsey is just starting to hit his stride. If your hypothetical allows for us to hire Daboll as an offensive advisor/assistant HC, than I’m all for it. -
Your actual top "Batman & Robin" dynamic duo
buffaloboyinATL replied to Italian Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I voted Allen/Diggs. Stafford and Nacua are #2 in my opinion. Historically, I would say Mahomes/Kelce, but not so far this season, especially after the Jets game. Kelce is probably the most critical to his teams success, but not as dynamic as the others, so far this year. -
A Few Thoughts About the Dolphins Game, in no particular order

This is the furthest I have ever made it. Yay me.

Yeah, everyone and their brother are saying this too. They are basing their stats on a blow out victory over the Broncos, which greatly inflated their value. Don’t believe the hype people. Their offense IS good, but ours is just as good, if not better, and our Defense is much better. The Dolphins overflowing band wagon, will be much less crowded tomorrow night.

My 2 favorites are Dan Orlovsky and Mina Kimes. I learn something from each of them on a regular basis. He is very good at breaking down what happens on the field and she is really good at utilizing next gen stats to provide interesting insights regarding why teams are failing or succeeding. Other than those 2, it is mostly just people expressing their opinions, so I take it with a grain of salt.

It's Miami week! That means HAIKU

WHEN Tua gets hurt Mike White will be the QB Milano, drooling -
He absolutely jumped off the page for me against the Commanders. He stood out in all 3 games actually. I actually joked during the last game that Milano was wearing Bernard's jersey. It will be so fun to watch if we have 2 above average to elite LB's, to go along with that D-line. That being said, I agree that this is a very small sample size, and now he needs to show consistency. But if he does, boy will it be fun...

Visiting Teams having Lots of Fans in the Stands
buffaloboyinATL replied to Bob Jones's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't think people, for the most part, are buying tix as an investment. I just think that the stadiums with fair weather fans, especially the ones with teams under-performing, tend to be that way. Teams like the Bills, Steelers, Packers, Jets, Eagles, Browns etc, with die-hard fan bases, rarely get taken over at home. The casual fans of teams like the Panthers, Vegas Raiders, LA Rams, Tampa, Atlanta, Jacksonville etc, start to rationalize that they can make a little money, and save the money they would spend at the stadium, and watch the lose from the comfort of their own homes. They get to charge a bit more when the die-hard fan bases come to town, which makes it more tempting for them. Hence the big crowds for the away teams. -
Revisiting his RAS, shows me that once again, Beane knows what he is doing. Many here focussed on his size and assumed that limited his ceiling, but other than size, his numbers are near elite.

I like "The 3 stages of defeat". kudos.

Week 3, Bills v. WTFs, 09/24/2023 - GAME BALLS
buffaloboyinATL replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Amen the OLine. Great protection against that Defensive front. The way Bernard played today, it was like having 2 Milano’s out there at the same time. I’d add Davis and Epenesa. -

I hate the Dolphins why did they run up the score? Try that crap on us… -
I just assumed he was already there, to be honest...

The Browns are notorious for making really bad decisions. My guess is that their next move with be to panic, and trade for Jonathan Taylor, putting themselves even further behind the 8 ball.
