  1. Zero chance of that happening... But no, I will trust the OBD brain trust until they give me reason not to...
  2. It was pretty interesting seeing Wilson and Mayfield standing back to back. Mayfield looked quite a bit taller. (he is 2"taller but it looked like more than that IMO)
  3. I think our biggest need after QB would be LB, but if was truly the GOAT at a position, I would say WR. If we had the greatest WR of all time, then any of our QB’s would look good by comparison. (just playing along by the way, I don’t think we need a WR with our first pick, nor do I think the GOAT is in this draft class)
  4. Nice! I am guessing Lotulelei campaigned for him. If it makes him more comfortable and they have an established chemistry together, I am all for it.
  5. Or you could predict another play and then take credit when this play happened, even though you never really said it would. Of course it would take an arrogant attention seeker to do something like that. Know anyone like that?
  6. I strongly disagree with the decision to draft the same guy twice.
  7. He does like having multiple personas at one time...
  8. Like Zay? What a strange off season this has been so far.
  9. Why pick Clapp when we already drafted Ragnow? guard?
  10. That depends, what's his 40 time? I am kidding, but there unfortunately is a direct correlation between how valuable a player is to a team and how much heat they are willing to take as an organization by being associated with him. A great player will get multiple strikes before everyone gives up on him, but a marginal player may only get one. I am not saying it is right or wrong, but it is the reality of the situation.
  11. He's gonna get paid big by someone. Or go to the Patriots* for an average salary.
  12. I love those graphics! I have not gone through the content yet, but the visualization is awesome.
  13. None of those things apply to kneeling during the National anthem. By the way, gun ownership is a constitutional right. Protesting during company hours is not. If someone were to choose to wave an NRA flag on the football field during a game, they could be fired for that.
  14. No it wouldn't. He is not an employee of theirs and they can choose not to employ him for any reason that they want. It doesn't violate any rights.
  15. Depends who is available. We need to move up for the player we want, not for the draft position.
  16. This thread deserves the "No longer contributing" treatment.
  17. He is who we thought he was. I guess this only re-enforces the rationale for teams who pass on talented players due to off field concerns.
  18. A whole bag of them?!
  19. Guy Ritchie? Hollywood Hall of Fame?
  20. because I said so... Sorry, parenting instinct kicks is when someone asks why.
  21. I originally thought we were thinking that way, but now I think Beane will do whatever it takes to get the QB they want now and then deal with filling the other holes over the next season or two. That may not be ideal for this seasons results, but it will hopefully pay off in the long run, especially if the Pats* start losing their stronghold on the division.
