  1. “And love dares you to care forThe people on the edge of the night” - Queen/Bowie
  2. Normally I would say that would work, but in today’s climate, they may have to make an example out of him. We have worked too hard to build a good team chemistry and I fear they may release him to show that they take the players concerns seriously. I personally hope he gets a second chance.
  3. You think they have to sign Cam Newton if we cut our 3rd string, 5th round draft pick QB? Seems like a huge leap...
  4. Short for Isaiah I believe.
  5. This may be the best group of wide receivers we have ever had on the team at one time. I can’t wait to see how the rookies develop. (Dion Dawkins May be better than some of our past WR’s ?)
  6. Right? I remember the days where we were still adding QB’s during training camp and giving them first team reps.
  7. Does the game in Tennessee last season count?
  8. I have heard many immoral things said around here over the years, but that one doesn't seem too bad...
  9. Does that mean you don’t think Allen will be an above average QB? ps I personally believe Allen’s ceiling is higher but That doesn’t mean much if he doesn’t live up to it.
  10. Honestly, he did better last year than I thought. I seemed to remember some back and forth between him and Foles during the year and just assumed he fell off as the year progressed. I stand corrected.
  11. Football, right? I 100% agree that Watson is #1 right now out of these 2 divisions.. Rivers was bad every time I watched him last year. I would much rather have Allen or Darnold over him and possibly even Fitzpatrick, unless he somehow recaptures some of him previous form, which given his age, is not a guaranteed. More likely, he will continue to regress. Tannehill had a great season, but given what I have seen from him in the past, I don't believe he will maintain that level of play. The Jaguars QB situation is a mess and they will likely be in the running for Trevor Lawrence next season. It is close (to me) but I think it is a fair argument that the AFCE QB's might be better as a group than the AFCS. I now see that I am probably the only one that feels this way.
  12. I don't put as much faith in the QBR rankings, but clearly I am on an island here either way. I would take Allen over anyone in that division, except for Watson, regardless of what the QBR says... I guess I'm a fool. By the way, are you sure Fitpatrick's QBR was that low? I saw a list that had him in the top 10.
  13. Wow! I'm not saying I'm right, but damn, I guess I rate Darnold and Allen higher than you and DCOrange do. For example, Watson is the only QB in the AFC South that I rank higher than either of them. and then Rivers Tannehill and Minshew? Yes, Tannehill had a good year but I would not take him over Allen or Darnold and Rivers and Minshew are below 3 of the 4 starters in the AFCE. Like I said, I guess I am higher on Darnold/Allen, then you are...
  14. What about the AFC South, with Watson, Rivers, Tannehill and Minshew/Glennon/Dobbs? Or the NFC East with Prescott, Jones, Wentz and Haskins? I would rank those groups below the AFCE, but I guess it depends how you are ranking them...
  15. I am very much willing to say that is not the case. I am sure the crack research team here at TBD can come up with a list of divisional QB's that ranked below this one, which includes 3 first rounders and a relatively successful veteran journeyman. I'm just too lazy to do the research myself.
  16. After a few losing seasons, there will be much fewer of them. #fairweatherfans. #TampaBayherewecome
  17. I love how competitive those two are with each other. I really hope they spend the next 10 plus years competing with each other for first place in the AFCE.
  18. It is at least a step in the right direction. For the team and for Allen.
  19. For the most part that is true, but just because Sanchez did it doesn't mean Allen isn't a good QB. I have context. I watched those games and frankly saw him make plays in some of those drives that very few QB's in the league could make. Does he make head scratchingly bad plays sometimes too? Sure, he is a second year QB. BUT, using the context that I have, watching those comebacks, I believe he is an above average QB, with the potential to be elite. Those comebacks were not a statistical anomaly, they were by and large the result of Allen making great plays and his teammates rallying behind him because of his ability.
  20. I am guessing Jets fans would have an issue with that...
  21. Seriously? He had an NFL leading 5 game winning drives last year. (tied with Watson and Wilson) I am sure the detractors will claim that we shouldn't have been behind in the first place, but reality is we won several games because of him last season, not in spite of... I respectfully disagree with your take.
  22. Or... we are just looking for things to talk about until the season starts back up. If you have better things to do, feel free to go do them...
  23. Ok, I'll take that criticism since I used the word "agenda". Reality is, I generally like Orlovsky and the way he breaks down QB play, I just disagree with him saying Josh Allen is the 3rd best QB in our division. I figured we needed something else to talk about besides Ed Oliver's DWI.
