  1. I'm sorry, but I have lost all patience with Jauron. You're right, he probably thinks that he's a good head coach, not great, not awful, but somewhere hovering around average which is just fine with him and just where he thinks he should be.
  2. What does being a terrific person mean in regards to his head coaching abilities?????? He sucks and is a born loser in the way that Rich Kotite sucked and was a born loser. It has nothing to do with their character, I'm talking strictly about performance as an NFL football head coach. This thread is ridiculous.
  3. Check out this guy... http://goallinefootball.com/newsblog/the-morris-touch/ http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/8781730...hes-flourishing Plus, we already have in place the defensive scheme that he is currently coaching in! Raheem Morris, spread the word, let's show our emotionless loser of a coach the door and get someone in here that has passion for this game!
  4. You must be new here. We here pick apart ALL of Dick's foibles and head sctachers after EACH and EVERY game. I'm not going to waste my time with you if you don't know them by now. The latest of these loser mistakes comes from his classic "play not to lose" book when he decided to lay down (three runs up the gut) for a long 47 yard field goal with a minute left on the clock. This is why he SUCKS, this is what YOU DO NOT GET. His approach is for his team to win at least half of his games because THAT'S the way he coaches. You can pretty much get any team not named the Detroit Lions to a .500 record when you "play not to lose" and hope the other team screws up. C'mon man get with it. Seriously, you need to go to school on Dick Jauron and his ENTIRE record. You do realise that he SUCKED in Chicago BEFORE he ever got to Buffalo don't you? Please, you need to really research this stuff and not rely on the ones with the brain cells still intact. I think even Dick Jauron would admit he was a born loser right about now.
  5. Dude, you picked the wrong week to pick up the crack pipe. Let me go on record and state that you must be a brain dead fan if you STILL believe that Dick Jauron is a good NFL head coach. Seriously, thanks for the unintentional laugh during a not so funny week.
  6. I remember after last years' loss to the Browns that took us out of the playoff picture Trent actually complained about being cold and damp during the game in the post game interview. THAT was something that really concerned me at the time. Still does. As soon as the season was over he left Buffalo for warmer weather. It's hard to acclimate yourself to the cold when you aren't in it for an extended period of time. He's got a lot of issues that will be answered one way or the other in the coming weeks. I've had it with him and hope that Jauron benches him for Losman if he looks afraid again early in the KC game.
  7. You simply can't lead an NFL offense when you are timid and afraid. It's just something that can't be done. What I've seen with my own eyes is that Trent Edwards looks timid and afraid. With this team currently at 5-5 the Bills are in "must win every game" mode. So the choice is to start a QB that is timid or afraid on the road in KC in hopes that he finds his courage or start the backup QB who can throw TD passes from anywhere on the field and who has never had such a horrific four game stretch that the starter currently is having. So what that Losman's leaving next year. I thought Bills fans were about winning now? Do we all really want to throw in the towell at 5-5? Wouldn't you want to see them at least try to go into the final AFC divisional stretch of games with a head of steam at 7-5 and see WTF happens???? Is Trent Edwards fragile psyche really worth throwing away THIS season???? I know that you guys hate Losman (still don't know why considering what an f'd up coach and organization he's had to endure) with a passion, but seriously, he really is our only shot left at trying to save this season. Why are Bills fans so against this? Do you want to start looking at the draft prospects or get back on the rollercoaster for one more wild ride in 2008 and see what happens? Once they are out of contention with 7 losses then Edwards can be put back in. Throwing what's left of this season away on a scared QB is unbelievable.
  8. ...and Jauron is rewarded for his "play not to lose" set up a 47 yarder with three runs up the gut with a minute left on the clock. Jauron's style is a losers mentality and is the reason he has such a long history of losing teams.
  9. I said that the Bills can start Edwards in KC, but if he doesn't have "it" to bench him in an attempt to try and save the season. I don't care who the QB is, just as long as the Bills try everything they can to get the job done.
  10. Ahhhh, but Trent Edwards is the exception for Dick Jauron. He is the chosen one. He trumps all. If he is on the bench he should replace the starter. If he is the starter he should stay in there no matter how bad the 10 turnover nosedive is.
  11. Yes. Anything can happen in football and there are always surprise teams that make a late surge for a wildcard. However, a Jauron coached team doing this would be the biggest surprise of all though. I admit that it is a stretch to believe in this.
  12. Look at what happened to the Giants last season, from 4-4 all the way to the top. Look at how fast we went from the penthouse to the basement this year. Sure, let Edwards start in KC. But if he doesn't have "it" early then JP Losman should be given the chance to lead this team to whatever it can be lead to. If they win start Losman till if or when they ever got to 7 losses. Then I'd have no problem starting Edwards the rest of the season because the season truly would be over.
  13. Let me take a different angle on this... Is giving Trent the hook the right move? Go ask yourself what a great head coach like Bill Cowher or Jeff Fisher would do. Is it the wrong move? Go ask yourself what lousy head coach like Dick Jauron would do. Cowher and Fisher would promptly sit their turnover machine for the betterment of the greater team goal of getting to the playoffs. You remember those lofty goals right Bills fans? Jauron would show an undying faith and resolve and keep the quivering turnover machine under center to the detriment of the greater team goal of getting to the playoffs.
  14. That's very big of you Gordio, thanks for the props. This past offseason I was one of the few who were in full fire Jauron mode and my fears have obviously come to fruition...DAMN that's not good! As for Edwards, the guy soooo looked like the real deal at the beginning of this season only to turn into one of the worst QBs to ever wear an NFL uniform these past four games. We are all at a loss as to why this happened and on what they should do in terms of the QB situation. Other than Jauron and Edwards' bad night, there were a few bright spots...offensive line came to play, Marshawn looked great, McKelvin looked great! I hope the Bills fire Jauron and hire a new GM and head coach. I'm tired of looking at Jauron and his "thin", "high motor" players. I hope Edwards turns around his play in KC, and if he doesn't that Jauron has the balls to put in either Losman or Hamden to at least let the other players know that no one's job lasts forever. That you can't keep being the problem and still stay a starter. Hey, I thought that Losman was going to be something special and he never could overcome his deficiencies. Looks like Edwards also has some real doosies of deficiences with fear being the worst of them. At least this disaster of a season will hopefully be enough to make Ralph do what they did down in Miami. This young team does have a chance to become something special the next few years but hard decisions have to be made in terms of who and what the Bills want to become. I would suggest they look at the Titans and Giants as the models to be striving for. We need to get bigger and more athletic on the defensive line, we need to get a center with a nasty disposition and we need to find a QB that can get'r done so to speak. In the mean time, let's both hope they can still turn it around somehow in '08.
  15. So true, it's as if these people like to pretend that Jauron's Bears years never existed. This undying support for him is very weird. I think that they're simply in shock and have yet to gain their senses.
  16. In the spirit of a Jeff Foxworthy redneck joke... When you have to resort to bringing in a motivational speaker?!...You might need a new head coach.
  17. It's hard to make any soup taste good when your head coach is constantly taking a dump in it. Talk about your denial, you Jauron supporters have it in spades.
  18. You need serious help. Dick Jauron made the most CHICKEN SH-- decision I have EVER SEEN as a Bills fan when WITH A MINUTE TO GO he ran the ball three times into the middle of the line in the HOPES his kicker would make a 47 yard field goal on a cold Buffalo night in November! Dick Jauron is a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSEEERRRR!!!! How you can be a Bills fan and STILL defend this man is beyond belief.
  19. Classic! I swear, I could see Dick Jauron being the Joe Biden of the NFL. Before his team takes the field he probably tells his players "I love you guys but let's face it, this is the NFL you don't have a shot".
  20. Bravo, awesome post.
  21. Say what you want about Losman, but he was never afraid to throw the ball downfield. Edwards is no longer mentally equipped to start. The guy is a head case who's not worthy of throwing what's left of the season away on. Face it, this is the NFL and if you are too scared to play you need to go and find a new profession.
  22. You start this thread saying that our starting QB Trent Edwards looks "scared" to throw the ball downfield and is "terrified". How do you go from there to you thinking that Edwards needs to play his way out of it? How would you feel if you were one of the other starters on the offense? In football, if you are afraid, you die. Times that about twenty for professional football. The Bills are 5-5 and if Jauron starts the quivering Edwards again he will see this team go ballistic. These players do not want to throw away the rest of their season on a guy who's clearly afraid, has thrown about fifty interceptions and was the main reason for the team going into the tank the last four weeks. Sorry, but you just don't do that to the other 52 members on the team who aren't afraid, or at least don't show it. So we have a center and QB that are afraid to play football? ENOUGH! Start Losman and at least let this team go down fighting and not quivering in fear. Last night was about as embarrassing as it gets. The Bills get beat, at home, on MNF, in a desperation game against a QB in his second start. Time for CHANGE!
  23. Jeeeeeeeeeeeeez was I right. When I started this post last week it was to try to put the possibility of Losman starting on the table because we needed to try something to save this season. I can tell you now that I didn't even believe 100% in what I wrote. I felt that Trent, like his head coach, needed a swift kick in the pants and a reminder that this job is not yours forever. The sad thing is that if Jauron had started JP Losman (yes it was a pipe dream), the Bills would have blown out the Browns last night. They'd be 6-4 and the season would still have a pulse. I just can't believe that game. What did the Buffalo Bills ever do to the football gods to deserve this? I can now say with 100% conviction that Losman should be starting next week. Trent is literally a quivering ball of fear in the pocket and Jauron has no business even thinking about starting Trent the rest of the season.
  24. I feel like saying STOP already with this damn thread. I wrote this last Monday! I was still hot under the collar and now I'm caught in this twilight zone-like no win situation tonight... If Trent has a huge game I will be...WRONG...and never again be allowed to share my feelings here ever again. If Trent has another bad game and the Bills lose that's...well that just plain SUCKS. Seriously though, what I do want is to see is Trent Edwards taking charge tonight! Leading this team tonight! Winning tonight! If he starts making turnovers in the first half and it still looks like the game is winnable at the half or mid third then I want Jauron to go to the bullpen and send in Losman. At some point you should get benched for poor play. Let's all hope that doesn't happen tonight!
  25. If only our team would show the same kind of enthusiasm as you did in this post. I'm prepared for another classic Dick Jauron "play not to lose, but lose anyways" special where his team plays everything tight and close to the vest against a Browns team hell bent on winning which means as the clock hits double zeros, the Bills throw another "L" shaped log on the losing streak fire. Sorry, but I have no faith in our head coach. I do hope you're the one who's right though!
