Obama had 30 minutes to disprove the known fact that he's either going to raise everyone's taxes, balloon the national debt or go back on his campaign promises...swing and a miss! What a waste of money. He would have been better off giving those hard luck people the cash.

I'm offended by the notion that Obama is proclaiming to have all of America's answers. That he's this great transformational leader all the while his town is swimming in dead bodies. That's offensive to me. You'd think he would have addressed this along the way? Take a little time out, go to Chicago and help gather the leaders to come up with a solution to this problem? Use his inspirational skills and make a plea to all of the murderers to stop murdering people? He has done NOTHING. He can't be BOTHERED. He is a FRAUD. Your intellectual standards need a serious tune up.

Rhetoric is an interesting choice of words. While Obama was busy spewing his empty rhetoric proclaiming to be the leader of the world in Berlin this summer his city was a blood bath. Somehow he escapes all responsibility though he continues to list Chicago community organizer as one of his qualifications for President. That community he has helped so much is currently the murder capital of the United States. That's a fact. I know that Obama supporters will defend him to the death, and close their eyes when they are faced with ugly facts that prove his lack of real leadership, it's just too bad that his fellow Chicagoans are literally dying while "The One" seemingly is more interested in telling the country and the world how great he is. Obama is a fraud, you just refuse to see it.

But Barack Obama has been billed as an inspirational and transformational figure. He worked his way up the ladder from Chicago community organizer to Illinois State Senator to Illinois US Senator. These are his constituents. Why isn't he held accountable for this deplorable statistic? Chicago, with all of their "great" african american leadership in that city, has the biggest murder rate in the country. They have more killings in Chicago than the entire country of Iraq. So what you're saying is that he isn't an inspirational figure in his own city? He has no ability to help stem the tide of bloodshed? What about his leg-tingling presence and sweeping oratory? This guy can't even be bothered to help save his own city.

"Body count. In the last six months 292 killed (murdered) in CHICAGO, 221 killed in IRAQ." http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2008/1..._senate_wh.html If this guy is so BRILLIANT as an Illinois US Senator, a former State Senator, a former community organizer, WHY IS HIS OWN CITY OF CHICAGO THE MURDER CAPITAL OF THIS COUNTRY? Any of you Obama supporters ever ask yourselves why doesn't he help clean up his own back yard before he takes on this country's problems?

The 2006 Tennessee Senate Race

Obama Exposed, in his own words
1billsfan replied to SD Jarhead's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
That's my point, what does he MEAN by making REPARATIONS? Does he mean that, in 2008 Americans citizens should pay for the sins of slavery? I certainly don't believe that, DO YOU???? No one can question Obama so I guess we'll just have to wait and see what he means after his coronation. Go ahead and stick your head in the sand, New York STATE has lost TON of jobs because of the big government tax and spend method of operation. It's not bogus, IT'S A FACT. It's never been a successful plan. -

How's that big government taxation plan working for New York State? They left and STILL haven't come back... http://money.cnn.com/pf/features/lists/tax...2005/index.html http://hvscouts.com/articles/upstateyouthdrain.html Under Obama you could see American businesses and citizens fleeing this country because they'll be tired of the Obama socialist government taking a huge portion of their hard earned profits to line their pockets, fatten the government and make so called "reparations". -
A Few Thoughts About The Game
1billsfan replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Here are my thoughts Bill... Earlier in the day ESPN did a feature on Edwards, and his fourth quarter heroics, where he talked about how he would look into the eyes of his offense and then the opposing defense and knew that his team wanted it more in the fourth quarter. Well the Buffalo Bills got seriously owned by the Dolphins in that fourth quarter. To me it looked like the entire team from the coaches on down to the special teams players didn't give a 100% effort. They did not look into this game. I heard an interview on Sirius NFL radio this morning with Terrence McGee and a question was asked whether there was more intensity this week because they were finally playing a divisional game. His response was the placid, to paraphrase "Well no, because every week is just as intense no matter who we're playing." Wrong answer, divisional games should add a little somethin somethin' to a previously 5-1 team's intensity level. I'm getting angry at the deferring to the second half of games after winning the toss. You're on the road facing a divisional opponent and your objective is to score early and often and take the crowd out of the freaking game. Jauron's decision ended up with the Dolphins grabbing a 7-0 lead and his Bills team playing in the hole from the outset. It will be very interesting to see how this team responds playing the Favre led New York Jets next week. -
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/...rev_wright.html "James Cone, the founder of black liberation theology, forged a worldview mingling Malcolm X-style revolutionary black nationalism and third-world Marxism with prophetic Christianity. He calls it "a theology which confronts white society as the racist anti-Christ." In a war against "white values," black pastors must -- as Wright has -- reject "white seminaries with their middle-class white ideas about God, Christ and the church." When Wright came to Trinity Church in Chicago in the 1970s -- invited to give the worship a more black inflection and foster stronger ties to the community -- the middle-class parishioners who had beckoned him left when they got a dose of his radicalism. The national United Church of Christ denomination considered distancing itself from the Wright-led church. Yet Obama came -- and stayed." "In a slippery dance, Obama maintains that he was thoroughly shocked by Wright's original radioactive statements and hadn't heard him say such things, although he did hear other (always carefully unspecified) "controversial" things. The threat to Obama as the paladin of the "new politics" is that, as he dodges and distances on Wright, people will come to agree with his former pastor's newly dismissive evaluation: "He says what he has to say as a politician."" Obama stayed in that anti-white, anti-middleclass, anti-American church for 20 long years. It's a sad "politically correct" fact that McCain can't even bring up this serious concern to the voters who have just tuned into this election last few weeks. To do so and uncover Obama's religion, HE would no doubt be called a racist by the Obama kool-aid drunk mass media. They were inferring him as being racist for bringing up the Ayers concern who IS A WHITE MAN. That last quote, "He says what he has to say as a politician." is very telling indeed. The only person who was being honest here was Wright. As for Ayers, there's a reason Ayers is refusing to open up his mouth before this election. He would tell the truth about how close him and Obama were, just like Reverend Wright did. The political protection of Obama by the liberal mass media of this election is beyond absurd.

That "support" was in January when everyone still thought Hillary was going to win the Democratic nomination. Never heard of that Adelman guy so I did a thorough search. Congrads, that one actually does hold some water! As for Sara Palin, I'd take her as President over the possible radical Obama who has a closet full of anti-American mentors in his background. He lost me when I heard his spiritual mentor scream, "NO, NO, NO, NOT GOD BLESS AMERICA, GOD DAMN AMERICA!" Then he had the "audacity" to say he had never heard Wright say such things. Either he's deaf or he lied about something serious. I don't think Obama's deaf. Sorry, but I no longer believe a word he says. If he wins, I hope all of you Obama supporters are right in that he isn't a closet radical, a socialist, and/or someone who's going to be soft on Islamic terrorism. McCain's not a prefect man, but I do know he isn't any of those things.
-
The New York Times has become a punchline, just like NBC News. They're a "news" organization that has zero credibility because of their blatant bias towards Obama. They'd much rather trash Cindy McCain than report on Obama's cokehead past or Edwards' affair while running for the Presidency. You should have known how far they've fallen when they were getting scooped by the National Enquirer because they refused to tarnish the democrats by simply not doing their job of reporting the news. There's a good reason profits have fallen 51.4 percent. Americans aren't much into propaganda machines and if they are, they'd probably much rather go to a radical liberal blog for that.

Harvard Law School professor backs Obama who is a prestigious Harvard Law School graduate. Wow what a scoop! There's too much conflict of interests there for that endorsement to mean anything. He certainly isn't going to bite the liberal hand that feeds. As for our "time of deep national crisis", that one was brought to us by the "smart" Washington DC crowd of Barney Frank, Chris Dodd and Nancy Pelosi. They were the ones who had the brilliant idea to look the other way and let the likes of Fanny Mae, Freddie Mack and Countrywide line the pockets of their democratic CEOs till the ship hit the iceberg and the country's economy went into the tank. Spare us these bogus nothingness endorsements please. You're starting to sound worried that the messiah could lose this election.

Buffalo one point favorites over Miami
1billsfan replied to 1billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We all know how and why NFL spreads are made. My point was in regards to how this team is regarded by the NFL bettors and linesmakers... "It says that the Bills are still considered as a mediocre team by NFL linemakers and bettors. So in a sense they still have not "arrived" according to the people who lay down real money on games." -
Buffalo one point favorites over Miami

The Bills players will be no doubt very much motivated for their first divisional game, but I "bet" that they're going to have a little extra motivation after seeing that line which refuses to budge. -
It says that the Bills are still considered as a mediocre team by NFL linemakers and bettors. So in a sense they still have not "arrived" according to the people who lay down real money on games. If they were considered the real deal then this line would have the Bills as a 6 point favorite. This is a strange line. I know who's favored and by how much is not supposed to a major provider of motivation for players, but I think this week might be an exception. The players probably realize that there are a WHOLE lot of non-believers that the Bills are hardly worthy of that 5-1 record. A few points I have about this game... 1. Dolphins are 7th in run defense and 27th in pass defense. Good thing we have a QB that can exploit that last stat. 2. When is our "BIG" kick return game ever going to make a comeback? Is it too much to ask to see it this week? 3. Ronnie Brown scares me. The guy is a very good runningback. 4. First division game, time for Buffalo to make a statement that there's a new sheriff in town.

Just look at how the stock market is reacting to the expected Obama coronation. I serious think that his coming policies are making the business world hit the panic button. This is what happens when you have big plans to penalize wealth and prosperity with capital gains taxes and increased income taxes in a bad economic environment. If things are supposed to be so rosey with this new President they call "The One", why doesn't the market see it the same way?
-
Interesting quote from that article... "“If you are worried about your next election, the present vote gives you political cover,” said Kent D. Redfield, a professor of political studies at the University of Illinois at Springfield." So in a sense, he took the p_ssy way out. Now that sounds like a guy who will really stand by his convictions all right.

You're not a woman raising a big family, running the State of Alaska, with an apparently very active outdoor sportsman lifestyle are you? Sounds to me like the war in Iraq wasn't exactly her top priority. Even so, she DID find it in her schedule to still go visit the troops. Something that "Iraq expert" Obama somehow never got around to DOING in 2007. Just another example of all talk, no action Obama.
-
MSNBC will probably give him his own TV show.

Damn that women for being "so focused on state government, she hadn't really focused much on the war in Iraq." Damn her for doing her job to the tune of an 85% approval rating. It's funny how all of these liberal brainiacs in the congress, who did nothing but follow and talk about the Iraq war, were flat out WRONG about how the country should raise the white flag, pull the troops out and surrender in Iraq. What don't you get about an 85% approval rating? That's near 67 points higher than Obama, Pelosi and Ried's. Sorry but your brilliant Washington DC politicians are apparently complete dolts when it comes to important decision-making.
