  1. Hey look, it's my arch enemy who often chastised me when I was in the small (yet vocal) handful of fans who wanted our joke of a head coach fired after last season. You wanted me banned for this view a few months ago!
  2. Sullivan isn't blaming the players, he's blaming the unmitigated disaster of a Bills' head coach known as Dick Jauron. He's a year too late but he's finally facing the truth you are so apparently unwilling to face.
  3. Yes! The Bucs DB coach, thy name is Raheem Morris... http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/writ.../12/02/coaches/ "• Raheem Morris -- Haven't heard of the Bucs defensive backs coach? You will. For one thing, he's thought to be a slam dunk to become Tampa Bay's defensive coordinator should Monte Kiffin join his son's staff at the University of Tennessee. But Morris is also thought of as the next Mike Tomlin, whom he worked under in Tampa Bay as recently as 2005. He's got a winning and magnetic personality, and though he's only 32 -- younger than Bucs veterans Derrick Brooks and Ronde Barber -- his players rave about his fiery coaching style and his ability to motivate." Young, energetic, fiery, winning and magnetic personality...Bills fans these are words that should be jumping off the page and into our hearts! He's the perfect fit for this lifeless team of emotionless do nothings here in Buffalo.
  4. Fassell went 21-27 in the three years after the Giants went to the Superbowl. Two playoff wins in 7 years. One 12-4 season, two 10-6 seasons, one 8-8 season, two 7-9 seasons and the last season went 4-12. I see Fassell as a loser like Jauron. Like Jauron he had one really good season and got to the Superbowl in that season because of a very weak NFC conference that year. Of course he has an over .500 career record which is much better than Jauron's coaching career, but the fact remains that he is not the game changing head coach given his record and the tough road to hoe going forward in the AFC East. No way the Bills should entertain hiring Fassell as their head coach unless they want more of the same. They need to find a bright young energetic NFL mind to inject life into this lifeless body known as the Buffalo Bills. They should go after Steve Spagnuolo or Raheem Morris. Fassell is an old worn out shoe just like Jauron was when Levy knocked on his door three years ago.

  6. In regards to what's in the best interests of the Buffalo Bills winning football games. Inside info has nothing to do with whether the team's coaches and players are good or bad. It's just fluff side bar stuff that has no baring on what the team does on Sunday. Vic was big on Jauron when he was first picked, while I was reading Chicago Bears football forums and throwing up. The amazing thing is that he still gives this 7 time loser of a head coach a pass while gleefully driving back and forth over the backup QB's body.
  7. Exactly, especially when you have one of the most feared kick return teams in the league. Overthinking? So THAT'S what Dick Jauron is doing on the sidelines while wearing that lonely expressionless stare.
  8. If you think about it, he really has beat Marv Levy twice. Once in the Superbowl and once in the GM game, the second time being a blowout victory. I don't think Parcells would come to Buffalo. As much as he's been promoted as a lunch pail type he's way too cosmopolitan a fellow to ever come here. The Bills would do best to go one of three ways... throw the kitchen sink contract at Cowher, almost throw the kitchen sink at Spagnuolo or try to find the next Parcells, Belichick, Cowher, Fisher, Tomlin, Spagnuolo, Harbaugh ect. If they were going the last route I'd pick Raheem Morris. From everything I've read the guy looks like one of the bright young minds and personalities who will be the top head coaching prospect after he takes the reigns over for Kiffin in '09. I do not want another retread who hasn't won anything, nor do I want an oversized ego jerk like Billick. Either go big or go out of the box.
  9. When you have a defense that is very prone to give up early scores it is foolish to give the opposing team the first opportunity to score. Football games are much more condensed then they used to be. This is because they run the clock in out of bounds plays after the ball is reset. So the odds of winning the game are far better when you're the first team that scores rather than when you're the team that getting the first possession in the second half. I don't have stats but I guarantee you the odds or better between the two (even if your name isn't the Buffalo Bills). The thing that can't be measured is the lack of confidence you not so obviously are showing in your offense. If I was head coach I'd have a score first, take no prisoners approach. I'm not waiting, give me the damn ball and try to stop me. Jauron coaches like a timid turtle hiding in his shell not wanting to stick his neck out and take a stand. He can't even throw a challenge flag with authority.
  10. I'd be happy with a coach that didn't think of football as rocket science. Everything is hard for him. Other NFL teams are hard to beat. They always have to go back to the drawing board and work harder at it. Even losing is hard. It's hard to win in the NFL. Well you know what Dick? It's hard to watch our favorite team try hard to win a football game. Heck, it's hard to watch them try to score a touchdown and fail in 11 straight quarters.
  11. You don't have to worry about getting rid of JP. Jauron and his phantom 3 year contract extension is another story.
  12. Not a very good head coach? Sure! This lifeless, passionless and non-competitive team has nothing to with with their lifeless, passionless and non-competitive head coach! Not a very good head coach...dude, HE SUCKS!!!!!!!!
  13. Jauron's had 52 losses head coaching teams that didn't have Losman starting at quarterback.
  14. Sh_t seems to happen to Dick Jauron an awful lot (to the tune of seven of eight losing seasons).
  15. I know, that's why I've been promoting Raheem Morris. The time to get a guy like Spagnuolo was last year (which I was promoting back then of course, lol). The Bills are far down the list of the top coaching prospects. I really hope they interview Morris, he's just enough under the radar that the Bills would have a real chance at him.
  16. He had every right to blast Losman! I even stated that Losman DESERVED all of the final darts thrown at him. Please re-read the post. It was about Carruci's defending of Dick Jauron AFTER he blasted Losman. It flies in the face of reason that Losman is terrible, yet Jauron is ok given the track record of BOTH player and coach. It really irked me that he somehow had the balls to tamp down the Jauron bashing coming in from the callers, yet pile on Losman. At least Losman does still have the REMOTE possibility of becoming a good QB after a whole bunch of years in the league like Rich Gannon did. Dick Jauron has had 8 years to prove he will never become a good head coach and Carruci needs to wake up to that actuality.
  17. Sorry, but yes I do feel that anyone who still thinks that Dick Jauron is a capable head football coach in this league is clueless. Vic has lost all credibility with me because of this very subject. That's the reason why I started this thread. As for being knowledgeable, why did it take the local Buffalo media until after yesterday's game to talk about the insane coaching deferrals when I've been talking about this since the Miami game in October? Why are they all of a sudden noticing Jauron's horrible coaching skills, I was screaming about Jauron's suckitude last year when this team ended the season by flat out quitting on him. Hate to break it to you, but football journalists are no more smarter than you or I. They just have better inside sources.
  18. I used to have very high respect for Vic Carruci. I always thought he had the right angles when it came to all things Buffalo Bills related. Well that's gone out the door. I was listening to the post game talk stuff and hearing fan after fan letting Carruci know what they thought of the coaching incompetence and time after time Vic would hem and haw and give those same tired and empty excuses about the players having to take most of the blame. He even went so far as to rip Losman as badly as any reporter could rip into a player, but for some idiotic reason, Vic Carruci had a big soft spot for the head coach Dick Jauron. A man who has proven five times over to be a much bigger loser in the NFL than Losman. While Losman deserves the final darts being thrown his way, for anyone (and this includes you Vic!) to still support this loser of a head coach when he's been such a suckingly consistent proven loser who has been bad at his job for 7 of 8 NFL seasons, you lose ALL credibility. Vic you don't get it, the players are sucking because of who's in charge. If you want to know what a difference a coach makes, take a look at the once 1-15 Dolphins who are now 8-5 a year later.
  19. It's appropriate that the Buffalo Bills were playing in Toronto today because they look completely lost as a team. They have absolutely no identity just like their head coach Dick Jauron. No identity on offense, no identity on defense (they played ok but where are the takeaways?). Emotionless, passionless, lifeless football is what we've been witness to. The silver lining here is that maybe the Bills will do the right thing and move in a completely different direction and hire a head coach that has a vision with the will, conviction and leaderships skills to get the job done and get us back in the playoffs.
  20. Been like freaking clockwork. He starts the "official" thread and bad things happen man, really bad things. Please let the other guy do it next week Skooby, I'm going to the game and I at least want a shot at seeing a victory.
  21. Your head coaching wish describes Raheem Morris... http://www.tampabay.com/sports/football/bu...ticle927072.ece
  22. Wow, you and Todd are a couple of real brainiacs. Where were these bold and classless posts before the game started.
  23. This is what I meant by implosion. Probably won't happen but jeeez, if it does you are going to have a busy week tampering down the renewed enthusiasm.
