Very bizarre looking. Someone needs to uncross his eyes and unsmash his face. Buffalo should have a big buffalo wing and bowl of blue cheese dip as their two mascots. You can't beat dancing food mascots.

rumored Rex ryan's wife foot fetish vid
1billsfan replied to bkc's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The best part of this article was the punchline at the end... "A lot of you will judge the Ryans over this. Please don't. Lots of Americans have bizarre tastes. Just think: There are people out there who'll cheer for the Jets." Very well played. -
You're making a mountain out of a molehill. "What's most important" is just a phrase dude. It's not meant to be taken literally. In this case, it means his not being an arrogant ivy league a-hole greatly helps his leadership by not alienating his teammates who majored in liberal arts while attending some football factory school down south.

Imagine if Ryan had said to Stevie one day, "Hey man, I'm sorry but this part's just a tad above your pay grade. Don't worry though buddy, I'll break it down and let you know what to do." You think that Stevie would be talking up Ryan's smartness after something like that? That's the dynamic I was talking about regarding him not giving a rats ass.
-
The question was whether it was a positive thing for him to flaunt it (badge of superiority). The reason that the other players like him is that he connects to them at eye level. So that endears him to them so much so that they can say he's the "smart guy"...that's his "cool" thing. But if he ever tried to pull the Harvard "listen to me because I'm smarter than you" card on them they would push him against the locker so fast his head would spin. You almost need to have a psych degree just to understand an NFL locker room.

The Patriots have neither clinched the division nor home field advantage. If the Pats lose to both the Bills and Dolphins and the Jets beat the Bears and the Bills then the Jets win the division and home field would probably go to tie breakers between the Jets and whoever wins the AFC north. I think that our team couldn't care less about what an opposing coach say about them good or bad. This just feels like a team that cares only about beating you. What they see is a Patriot team that's beatable. While they may be better right now, they're not so good that they think it's out of reach. They no doubt think that they'll win this game if they give it their best shot. This is a team full of players that were counted out and never gave up, the Patriots are not scary to them at all. Not making a roster and having to go do real work is what's scary to them.

Huh? I never said Fitzpatrick was like that. I was disagreeing with the people who think that there's no reason why he shouldn't flaunt his Harvard degree.
-
Do you really think that Stevie Johnson gives a rats ass about how much smarter Fitzpatrick is than him? NO player in ANY nfl locker room gives a rats ass about his Harvard degree. In fact, If Fitzpatrick were to talk act superior in any way to the other players he'd lose the locker room. You'd eventually have guys more interested in knocking him off his arrogant high horse than winning a game. That's easy to do in the NFL. They can make him look real good and they can make him look reeeeaaaallll bad. If you want to act cerebral, then go be a baseball player. I'm betting that NFL locker rooms don't take a shine to the cerebral types. They're more impressed if you can smash a beer can on your face.

"You can't sit back in cover 2 cover 3...", starts at 2:20... http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/12/13/rodney-harrison-breaks-down-how-to-defend-the-patriots/ Yes, I'd rather have that small fry try to beat us than Brady.

New England, so what's it gonna be this time?
1billsfan replied to McD's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
With all things being equal, our defense having got better kind of mitigates the comparison to what Baltimore did and what the Pats would do to us two months ago. I fully expect the Pats to score between 30-36 points on us. I expect the same kind of game as what happened in Baltimore, hopefully with a big "W" result this time. -
Last week Rodney Harrison said that the only way to beat Brady is with a M2M defense. I think we have the DBs to play M2M. I say play 6-7 DBs and beg them to run the ball on us.

If we can put up 34 points on the road against Baltimore, I have to believe that we can put up 34 points against the Pats at home. Baltimore has a much better defense than the Pats and our receivers are playing even better than they were back then. There's a lot of confidence gelling in that locker room right now. The story of Fitz and his receivers should be called the "Revenge of the Rejects. -
Vick turned into Superman in that fourth quarter. Sometimes you just have to give props to an astounding talent and effort. As for the game's deciding moment, I heard that Coughlin decided to not put in his "hands" team on the Eagles kickoff with 7 minutes left in the game with them down by two touchdowns. Andy Reid said that he decided at the last second to go with an onsides kick when they saw the Giants send out their "return" team. This is probably the single biggest reason why the Giants ended up losing this game among a bunch of reasons.

He's been upgraded from out to questionable... http://www.startribune.com/sports/vikings/blogs/112192814.html With great anticipation, the "legend killer" Moats and his legions of fans wait to see what happens. You just know that this is the kind of game Favre wants to end his career on.

The Pats defense is 31st in the league in passing yards against and 25th in TD passes allowed. In other words, they will suck against us. This Bills team has taken on the cool swagger of their leader in Fitzpatrick. They aren't afraid of this team even though we all know that they're going to score against us. Expect a high scoring game that will be decided on a turnover in the fourth or whoever has the ball last. This is going to be a great game and I give the Bills a fighting chance to pull off the upset. The stadium will be off it's hinges if this one is within reach in the fourth. -
This team totally reminds me of the years leading up to the pre-Superbowl Bills (minus the great Bruce Smith of course). I think that Spiller will become very good once we find the right mix on the offensive line. I'm so psyched at where this team is heading right now. One thing that has hurt Fitzpatrick with fans buying into him is that he was always "branded" as a backup player ever since he was drafted. That's hard to shake off, but he's done that this year. It's clear that he's not only an NFL starter, but a very good and a very smart one.

I think many Bills fans here seriously have a very warped view of the QB position. After watching 10 years of all-time great QBs Brady and Manning rip up a parity ridden NFL, they have this almost diva-like demand that nothing less than an all-time great will do. It's comical reading some of this stuff contained in this thread. The Bills currently have a QB who's averaging 2 touchdowns a game. This is without a running game (which opposing defenses don't really have to account for in their game planning) and playing a schedule filled with the top ten defenses in the league. Ryan Fitzpatrick is going to be the Bills "franchise" QB for the next 6 or more years. If the Bills ever do figure out their defense and get a running game going, there's a very good chance that Fitzpatrick will lead them to their first Superbowl win. He's not only very good, he's very smart. I see the Bills going with the Giants' model of a "franchise" QB. Is he a Brady or Manning? No. Is he a Phil Simms or Eli Manning? Absolutely. It's time the divas around here start appreciating what they have in Ryan Fitzpatrick...23 TDs in 12 games isn't good enough for you dopes? Are you kidding me? Why don't you try becoming intelligent fans and look at what they need to do to get the run game going and to add some defensive playmakers instead of making silly comments and comparisons about Fitzpatrick. If they do those 2 things, I see the Bills winning one or even two Superbowls with this guy

"I think"? Wow, way to go stepping out on a limb there...LOL Your perspective wheel may need a little greasing.

While I think that the Pats are the best team in the NFL, I don't think that they've magically transformed into that runaway freight train of a team a few years ago. As locked in as Brady's been lately, their defense is not all that good. I think that they've been playing teams that have wilted for whatever reason. Steelers suck against the spread, the Jets were an average team that had more than a few lucky wins and the Bears flat out quit once the Pats got up by a couple of touchdowns. We'll see what happens when they come to the Ralph in a couple of weeks. I have a feeling that the Bills are going to win, because they have the offense that can scare the Pats, the Bills have the DBs who can pull off M2M coverage and the crowd will be in a frenzy that day. This is the Bills' superbowl this year. The Bills will of course be lucky to beat a team that's much better than them, but I sense that this is the game where the Pats come down to earth. Stub their toe. The whole NFL has been one big ball of parity this season, I just don't buy into the Pats being juggernauts just yet.
-
The Steelers are overrated too. They have a weak offense and can't stop the spread offense. They needed a dropped "money" ball to beat us.
-
I think the Pats have recently became a much overrated team. The last couple of weeks they happened to face a couple of teams that just layed down like dogs. Their defense isn't any good and the Bills have an offense that can keep up with the Pats now. I think the Patriots beat up on the Packers then get shocked by the Bills next week who'll finally punch them in the face and knock them off their high horse in front of an absolute crazy Ralph. It's gonna happen people. I can feel it.

Winning strategy for this week's game
1billsfan replied to 1billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is a game that the Bills will win on strategy. If they let the Dolphins pull them into a slow plodding 10-7 type game, I think they'll have a much greater shot of losing this game. The Bills need to try to make this one into a one-sided track meet. Try to score early and quickly with the spread offense. It's a mentality. Just like a team that would defer taking the ball in the second half, expecting it to be in a nip and tuck game. The Bills need to try to get on the board quickly. Take on the Patriots "go for the throat early in the game" approach. The Dolphins' offense may be the worst in the league, but their punter will make sure the Bills are pinned deep in their own endzone all day. If the Bills can get an early lead, this game will be a laugher If they take the "sit back and feel it out" approach, the Bills will probably end up losing this one. -
The underlying problems with Bills shows again
1billsfan replied to Niagara Bill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Overly dramatic much? Whitner's delusional. He can walk If he even thinks that he deserves anything more than average money for an NFL safety. I could care less if he does walk, because I think the Bills could use an upgrade at that position. We need a safety that can cover a freaking tight end once in his life, especially since the best team in the division features passes to tight ends. -
I am happy with this team because for the first time in a long time they appear to be back on their way to the top. I can see a core group of guys that know their rolls and have given the top teams all they can handle. I can see that they are only a few defensive players from a playoff caliber team. The Miami Dolphins went from a 1-15 season to winning the division to an 11-5 team in one year and this Bills team is miles ahead of where that Dolphin team was. Record be damned, this has been a great transition year to build off of. How you can't see that is beyond me and your downplaying of Fitzpatrick's very good performance to date is ridiculous.

I've been listening to "Boomer (Essiason) and Carton" morning show on WFAN NY this week and they've been doing a hilarious running joke pretending to be a lawyer interrogating the Jets coaching staff... Boomer- Did you order "the green wall"?...I said, did you order "the green wall"? Carton- YOU'RE DAMN RIGHT I ORDERED "THE GREEN WALL"!!!!
