Fitzpatrick is the new Jay Fiedler
1billsfan replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
"Proper evaluation of a player's talent's" is the problem with this thread. You're a guy who's so completely behind the curve on Fitzpatrick it's not even funny. Comparing Fitzptarick to Fiedler is basically admitting to everyone that you're bad at evaluating talent. Fiedler could only dream of having Fitz's passing ability. Want your "proper" comparison? They are both white QBs who came from ivy league schools...THAT'S IT! Fitzpatrick is a guy who's going to be the franchise QB of the Bills for a long time and you're unfortunately going to have to live down this stupid thread forever and a day. Fiedler????? C'mon man! I laugh at all of you guys who continue to drool for either Luck and Mallett like some lovesick Justin Beiber fan. Totally clueless at knowing real talent. You guys need to shake off the cobwebs and understand that Fitzpatrick IS the guy to lead the Bills to their first Superbowl win. It's not even just the fans who are clueless, Thurman Thomas and the local sports radio and print guys are completely clueless also. Look's like you have a lot of company of people who have missed the bus. Seriously, what a dumb ass thread. -
Jets ripped off the Bills shout song celebration
1billsfan replied to 1billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You obviously haven't been watching the Jets these last three weeks. That team is a very "soft" 8-2 and are not nearly as good as a Chargers team with a 5-5 record. Right now, the Jets are better than the Bills, but by actually watching the way these two teams are playing these last three weeks, it's not by that much of a margin. -
Jets ripped off the Bills shout song celebration
1billsfan replied to 1billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think the Jets and Bills are not even that far apart from each other right now. If the Bills win those three very close ones and they lose those three very close ones they would have the same 5-5 record. I'm going to that final game in New jersey and I hope the Jets need the win for the division title and the Bills spoil the party. -
Jets ripped off the Bills shout song celebration

Well excuuuse me! This is the first year I saw another NFL use that song in a celebration. -
Awesome "Fitzmagic" song
1billsfan replied to Roc City Bills Backer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
...put him into the pro boooooooowl... That song is freakin funny. Even tough they're 2-8, I love this team again. Fun bunch to watch who give us a great effort every week. The Jauron/Edwards blood draining years are slowly melting away and I think I can see the break of dawn. -
Bills need to go spread formation if they...
1billsfan replied to 1billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You do know that the Pats went almost exclusively to the spread because it was, and still is, the only achilles of that defense. The spread is not the Pats main offensive scheme. Time for the Bills to take advantage of that blueprint to at least give them a chance how ever small it may be. I'm telling you right now, if the Bills try running the ball they will be throwing away downs and drives against the Steelers. -
...want to have any chance to beat the Steelers. They will have no shot if they try to run the ball against that team. Use the Pats blueprint and pass pass pass.

I am going to say it....Bills don't need a QB
1billsfan replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I strongly disagree. Joe Ferguson was the Matt Hasselbeck of his generation. Pretty good field general, but not a guy that could carry you with his arm. Ryan Fitzpatrick is proving to be much more like Jim Kelly than Joe Fergusan. Not for nothing, but Fergusan could only dream of throwing 18 touchdowns in 8 games. -
Childress fired as Vikings coach...
1billsfan replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What???? Dude, Brad Childress sucks as a head coach. He reminds me of Greg Williams. Just like Williams, Childress will never be a head coach again. Players don't want to play for know-it-all pricks. -
Bulldog on WGR "Fitz is just not that good"
1billsfan replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Way back before the Baltimore game, I think I was the one who posted the original "Fitzpatrick might be the real deal franchise QB" thread. I mentioned how Drew Brees did not become "Drew Brees" until his 30th NFL start. Well Fitzpatrick started turning his corner around in his 27th career start against New England in 2009. Check it out, the guy has been solid and one of the NFL's best since week 16 of last year. No telling where this team would be if they had started him from the beginning and the defense didn't wait till this week to start getting the turnovers. Wake up, Fitzpatrick is the real deal. He's no fluke. He isn't a Derrick Anderson or John Kitna, he's a Drew Brees or Eli Manning type. You should start thanking you lucky stars he's on our team. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/F/FitzRy00/gamelog/ -
...3rd quarter. He converted 3 third down passes with the last one going for a 28 yard touchdown to Stevie Johnson. If the Bills don't score on that drive I think they probably would not have one this game. That first drive was THAT important and Fitzpatrick was as "clutch" as it gets when the chips were down. So for all the doubters who've been calling him a choker, looks like you can shove it.

I agree, no way do they pick a linebacker with the first. The Bills should go... 1st pick...big DE 2nd pick...big OL 3rd pick...outside LB I think with that 3rd round pick (mid 60s?), they should be able to find a very good prospect to compete with our current starters and even Maybin. Some times it takes young guys longer time to mature and get adjusted to the NFL. It took Stevie Johnson 3 years to finally make it, I hope they give Maybin one more year to prove himself a player.

That uniform design is a crime against humanity.

So how exactly does Holder still have his job? How do the democrats still elect Nancy Pelosi their house minority leader after their rejection and epic slaughter in the 2010 elections? My guess is it's the "don't touch the junk" strategy.

T.O. Sounds Off on the Bills/Buffalo
1billsfan replied to May Day 10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Becoming clearer and clearer that Edwards lacked leadership qualiities? Where have you been the last two years???? Maybe you were in denial to what the clued in fans were telling you every day that he was a ball-less, passionless loser who didn't even like the game of football. For two freaking years we were saying that. Often getting flamed for doing so. As for Fitzpatrick, he IS our next QB. It's about time that you guys who are behind the curve, not have to wait two years before getting clued in again. -
This is the camel's nose in the tent. Once you first make the statement, it makes it easier for the others follow. This is the blueprint for attempting to get the masses to follow the liberal/progressives' sick and twisted agenda. This statement wasn't even challenged by the ABC "news" panel. It's the same liberal MSM media that fed the American public the ridiculous notion that Obama was a moderate candidate who believed in there being no red states nor blue states, but only the United States. Who were then trumped by people like Beck and Fox which forced the resignations of presidential appointees by shining a light on communist advisors like Van Jones and Anita Dunn. Americans have caught on to his and these other liberal's complete bull**t. He has no chance of ever regaining their trust.

One year ago... Palin: "There are death panels in the healthcare bill." Liberals: "How dare this stupid lying whore say that there are death panels in the healthcare bill." Today... Liberals: "Well yes, of course there are death panels in the healthcare bill." Palin has the bull**t detector, the megaphone, and arguably now has a bigger influence on the current direction of this country than Obama does. It's no wonder you guys hate her so much...she's winning.

Hey, I respect your opinion too! But you're telling me that you think that community organizing sounds like hard work to you? Basically you try getting a bunch of people together to brow beat the government for some more free stuff. Begging doesn't sound all that hard to me. Palin was the governor of a state. Reading up on what she did, it sounds like she was a very good governor bent on weeding out corruption and cutting budgets. The difference between these two people is that one thinks government is the answer, while the other believes in the freedoms and power of the individual. Palin has more real leadership skills in her little finger than Obama has in his entire body. I don't see her bowing down, apologizing, or letting rival nations dictate terms for the US. Does that mean she's presidential material? Not necessarily, but to claim she has the substance of a group leader is to just blindly buy into the Bill Maher far left view that any American who's not from New York, Chicago or California is nothing but a dumbass hillbilly. I was listening to Hannity on the radio yesterday and he had the two democratic pundits who wrote the "One and Done" article in the Washington Post. Hannity said that he's heard from people inside the white house that Obama obsesses over Fox News, sports and blows a gasket every time a daily poor economic number comes in. Is it true? Even though it came from Hannity, I tend to believe that it is. I don't think Hannity needs to lie and make up stuff about Obama. The guy's clearly over his head in a job he really doesn't want to do anymore. He just wanted the love and adjuration, but now that he's knee deep in the swamp and things are going horribly, it seems that he's not equipped to run anything let alone an entire country. Obama strikes me as the guy who just says a bunch of nonsense stuff then walks away not wanting to do the actual work. At least Palin is equipped with the skills to do the job. My first choice is Chris Christie because he would be much less polarizing, but if he doesn't run then I'll give Palin a fair shot among the remaining candidates. Reagan was once a polarizing figure also. The next two years will no doubt shake out who's the best person to send Obama packing. If it's Palin then so be it.

I am off the Fitzpatrick bandwagon
1billsfan replied to The Wang From Sang's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Here's a question. How can a guy who started not one, but TWO threads on wanting to see Brian Brohm start, ever claim to have been riding on the Fitzpatrick bandwagon? -
Obama is hokey. There is no substance behind him. What he says he can do, he really can't. He is a puppet for the elite, and not a very good one...Just good looking while doing a lot of things the elite person would do in their life. It isn't hatred...He is in over his head yet people keep pushing him along. The thing that gets many people is that the MSM (pushing him along) is so obvious and blatant. Sarah Palin strikes me as someone who's a much stronger individual than Obama. The one area he's got her on is academics, and after two years we can see how little that mattered in his real world decision making. Not saying I want her as the next president or not, but I'd take her in a split second over the joker we have in there now.
-
What's more dangerous? Obama's radical policies aimed to transform America into a socialist country, or Sarah Palin's religious beliefs? The reason the left hate her is because she's a strong, sexy, attractive, feminine women. The left hate anything that looks feminine unless it's a high-priced hooker from new jersey...and even that is done behind closed doors. Don't know if I'd vote for her, but she definitely has that "it" factor that all American icons have. The left being so completely obsessed with hate over her says a lot about this woman's innate charisma power.

The o line "is what it is" at this point, time to find out what our 9th overall pick can do.
