Ryan Mallett is an injury prone college QB who will be a complete bust at the next level due to his zero lack of mobility. He already has concussion problems and he has yet to begin an NFL career. He or Drew Bledsoe would never be able to make a full career of it in today's NFL' After reading about 50 Fitzpatrick may be "the one" threads this week, my original Fitzpatrick thread was scary prophetic <patting myself on the back>. I can't wait to watch Bills games because I think this man IS the real deal.

The CBO lost all credibility when they gave Obama the "it will reduce the deficit by 150 billion" figure he was looking for regarding the nightmare Obamacare bill. They were accessories to this criminal, lie through your teeth enterprise. I don't believe anything that comes out of the CBO anymore.

Prediction: Fitzpatrick Looks Bad Against Baltimore
1billsfan replied to NaPolian8693's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fitzpatrick's 26th start 65.8 (road win against Kansas City) Drew Brees' 31st start 59.7 My point was that it looks as if he's turned the corner and is no longer just mediocre. What's your point? -

Drew Brees was considered a mediocre QB until the 32nd start of his career when he turned the corner and never looked back. These are Fitzpatrick's passer ratings since his 27th start: 85.1 120.8 92.4 83.6 121.5 106.2 -
The fans right here are why the Team sucks

Oh come on dude. This thread screams of you being furious because you, Mr. Bills QB Situation Specialist, was either not smart enough or did not have the balls to foresee the rise of Ryan Fitzpatrick. -
Bills fans should take Ryan Fitzpatrick seriously...

Hey, even I was expecting a bad day for Ryan today. What he did was very impressive and I'm just glad that from here on he'll start getting serious consideration from the fans that he just may be the real deal franchise QB we've all been waiting for since Kelly. -

It's obvious that Fitzpatrick knows that not only is he a starter in this league, but a darn good one. He clearly has the look of a guy that has the game and confidence to begin making his mark on the NFL and shutting up all of the doubters in the process. -

This one is too funny right about now! -
I'm seriously shocked that this isn't a 10 page thread by now. Cam Newton is the most electric player to come out of college football since Bo Jackson. This guy looks even more talented than Jackson, he happens to play the position of quarterback, and though he didn't need to throw much yesterday he does have an NFL arm. Did no one watch that game yesterday? Make no mistake, he will come out early and he will be the #1 pick in the 2011 draft.

The Outfield was a very underrated 80's band who had a dorky look, but made absolute killer pop rock songs...

The "blaming it all on Bush, we inherited this mess" propaganda campaign is the biggest unchallenged lie currently being perpetrated in politics today... http://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/noel-sheppard/2010/10/20/bill-maher-anti-obama-voters-battered-women-going-back-abusive-boyfri "Of course, the real issue is broader than that, for Americans began this change when they gave Democrats control of Congress in 2007. The numbers since then are even more stark: • In January 2007 before the Democrats took over Congress, unemployment was 4.6 percent; now it's 9.6 percent. • In January 2007 there were 7.1 million unemployed people in America; now there are 14.9 million. • In January 2007 the median home price was $210,600; today it's $179,300. • In January 2007 the Dow Jones Industrial Average was at 12,500; today it's at 11,000. • In January 2007 the gross federal debt was $9 trillion; today it's $13.5 trillion. • The poverty rate in 2006 was 12.3 percent; now it's 14.3 percent • In the final budget created by a GOP-controlled Congress, the deficit was $160 billion; now it's $1.6 trillion. Add it all up and: there were half as many people out of work then; houses were worth 17 percent more; stocks were 15 percent higher; the federal debt was 33 percent lower; poverty was 14 percent lower, and; the deficit was 90 percent lower."

It shows how completely detached this president is from the devastating reality the American people are currently facing. He flat out doesn't care about the American people. Heck, he doesn't even care about his fellow democrats in washington. In my view, he really only cares about himself and his kids.

Warning: this contains vomit inducing material... Make it so that no mistake were able to be made by the media that this is anything but a referendum on this clown's disastrous first two years.

I wish Fewell had retained the job and they instead had brought in Gailey as OC. Fewell was the perfect fit as our head coach. Young, smart, passionate about the game and he wanted the job. Gailey has out and out fubared the defense.

You're telling me that's in the First Amendment?

She thinks it should be left up to local and state school boards, not a federal mandate prohibiting ID from being taught. -

Either it's intelligent design, creationism or you're an atheist who only believes in the scientific theories and explanations. How many atheist's are in congress right now? 1? 2? If this the litmus test, then there's only a couple of people who are smart enough to remain in their offices. Coons never did answer O'Donnell's challenge of publicly admitting he doesn't believe in his own church's teachings. God forbid, maybe someone should ask Obama his theory? He is a church going man right? So it stands to reason he would believe in intelligent design, correct? -

I was using that as an "in general" term. It was not supposed to be meant as literal for every candidate to not be from an ivy league school. Just that the smugness, looking down your nose at the "stupid little people" politician needs to be flushed out of Washington. Jeez man...has Conner put you in a pod and taken over your body? -

I can't get all worked up over an older-than-dirt, retirement aged, career politician losing out to a young, spunky, and yes, the oh so non-experienced and clumsy O'Donnell. This "mad as hell" American groundswell against the left's power grab towards socialism wasn't going to have a perfect record. There were bound to be one or two unfortunate outcomes due to flat out bad candidates. But her winning the primary will hopefully encourage a more worthy "outsider" Delaware candidate the next time around. Dinosaurs like Castle needed the wake-up call that their time is officially over. We need to purge the cronies out of the congress. Delaware may just end up being one casualty in the long uphill battle of the American people taking their government back from the blood sucking ruling class that are the Washington ivy league elites. -
Ask yourself what happens to the unknowing (and knowing?) investors of ponzi schemes. How qualified does one have to be to handle the job of being a US senator???? They have to have the ability to cast a vote. WOW, does that sound like a tough job! Seriously, a jobless, homeless person off the street who held the proper fiscally conservative pro-business principles would be a better option than a pro-marxist like Coons. She's obviously a bad candidate with a paper-thin resume , but she's clearly the better option than the far lefty Coons. After taking a good long look at look at the gigantic crater of debt the "brilliant" ivy league lawyers/politicians have put America in, I've come to the conclusion that the senate should have some "regular" people in it. Even someone who's a bottom of the barrel candidate like O'Donnell. -
A lot of times bankruptcy is a good thing. It's what should have happened to GM to get them out of the union stranglehold. It's about time that the ponzi-like, pie in the sky, "hey, isn't it great we're still living in the 50s" unsustainable union pension plans be brought into the reality of the 21st century that the rest of America has been living in. Unions, please take a seat...this is what is commonly known as a 401K.

The tea party tsunami about to hit on nov 2nd should scare off enough moderate democratic senators up for reelection the next couple of years that the bill wouldn't have any sort of realistic shot. Plus, I think that they'd fear for their very safety when going back to their respective states.
-
I seriously think that there would be nation-wide civil unrest if the union bailout bill ever got passed through a lame duck congress and signed by Obama. Bailing out banks and "too big to fail" companies during an economic crisis is one thing, bailing out government employees who want to retire early to collect full pay and benefits per year off the backs of regular hard working Americans is quite another thing. You think Americans are going to sit there and take a 165 Billion dollar hit of more generational theft by corrupt liberal politicians and the thug unions? The term "over our dead bodies" comes to mind.

No one here has said that he's the long term answer. What this thread was about was that he should at least be in the conversation about being the long term answer at QB given his recent play. Like no other position, every QB has a learning curve. Some are great right off the bat like Tom Brady and Kurt Warner. While others, like Drew Brees, take about 30 games for the light switch to come on. I think the light switch may have come on for Fitzpatrick. When I watch him play, the game doesn't seems too big for him. There's a sense of command and comfortability. In the end, this isn't going to be a hard decision. Either Fitzpatrick shows a Brees-like coming out party in 2010 or they will no doubt be drafting a QB at #1. BTW, someone here said that "his accuracy is wildly inconsistent" ... over his last 6 starts his completion percentage is 63%, he's thrown 12 TDs with only 4 interceptions. Whoever said that needs to watch the games again.
