  1. All is not hopeless. I couldn't have been more specific in my thread topic. Trent Edwards sucks and I will refute anyone here who's trying to prop him up as a viable QB option for my favorite team. That's not being a troll, that's having my favorite teams' back. My crusade against Dick Jauron was about two years longer than it should have been, but where might we be if they had fired his loser ass two years ago? Was I being a troll for making fun of him for two straight years? So this was my first shot (of many to come) at all the delusional Bills fans who feel that Trent Edwards was just a "poor victim" of circumstances. The guys sucks, he's one of the main reasons that we sucked, he has no passion for winning or the game, and I can't wait till him and Dick are both golfing together in the fall, somewhere far far away from Ralph Wilson Stadium.
  2. Kelly and right minded Bills fans all understand that the Bills #1 problem remains the starting QB position. Feel free to join the club whenever you'd like. BTW, where's your link showing support for Trent before the 2010 draft.
  3. I would absolutely love them bringing in Troy Smith and dumping Trent Edwards (mercifully doing away with the final failure of the Marv/Jauron/Edwards regime). The Bills should do something to increase their odds of having a game changing situation at the qb position for the 2010 season. Smith is an unknown player who fits Gailey's offense and it'd be so worth giving him the chance to see what would happen between him and Brohm. If neither pan out then it's no biggie since we've all been looking towards the 2011 draft for the next Bills franchise qb.
  4. You did know that Jim Kelly is on record for wanting to run Trent Edwards out of Buffalo?... http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4691552 "I like Trent personally," Kelly said, according to the report. "He works hard. But he's had three years. It's time to find somebody who is the future of the Buffalo Bills. If I'm the owner, that's what I'm thinking. " BTW, I'm not going to be pissed because it will never happen. It's like saying I'll be pissed when pigs fly. I've long ago moved beyond hoping Edwards was going to be a good qb and came to the same conclusion that Jim Kelly (and anyone with eyes) did...he's had three years, and if he were any good he would have showed flashes during the piss poor 5-12 record of his last 17 games. Not once did I see any of you fanboys put your support behind Trent leading up to the 2010 draft. Now, two months later he's suddenly an answer to the Bills qb problems? That's flat out stupid. Please link us to this undying Trent Edwards support of yours leading up to the draft. You can't, because you never did.
  5. My bad. I'm truly sorry about that. I'd recently been witnessing the slow buildup of Edwards support around here and I couldn't stay quiet any longer. I've always looked at Bills fans as being one of the brightest fanbase of the NFL and it's upsetting to me to see them falling back in love with Edwards just because we have a new head coach. I decided to present a simple question to Bills fans, and from the responses, it's clear that no one has been able to refute Edwards not having the basic skill of putting zip on the ball which every successful starting NFL quarterback must possess. I seriously think that opposing defensive coaches laugh at Edwards on film. That's how bad I think he is. I'm surprised it took them a full year to realize that he can't beat you with the mid-range to deep ball.
  6. However, the two main variables for success in the NFL are having a good head coach and good starting QB. Hopefully Gailey pans out in the former roll and Brohm/Brown or the guy we draft in the first round next year is eventually the answer at the QB position. No need to fool or talk ourselves into believing that 30 games in, Edwards is anything but a backup in the NFL. These are no doubt the same chumps that believed that Dick Jauron was still going to be a good coach after two years of worst coaching I'd ever seen. It's as if no one can comprehend that both the head coach AND the QB sucked. They did indeed BOTH suck. One loser down and one to go. Edwards gets cut during the summer, I'm calling it here.
  7. "Dude," you DO realize that you just listed these specific players is support of Trent Edwards' arm... Pennington Smith Delhomme Rosenfels McCoy Batch Gee, thanks! Whew...I feel a whole lot better now that you told me he has a better arm than those QBs....
  8. This is the reason I started this thread. To flush out guys like you who are so beyond help, that are so delusional, that they actually are convinced the realists are the ones who are delusional. In the three pages of this thread I have yet to see a starting QB who Trent Edwards has a better arm than, and I'm the one incapable of dealing with reality? NFL defensive coordinators do cartwheels when it's Trent Edwards week. They laugh at him when they watch film. You've watched Trent play football for the Bills in 30 games and you STILL have faith in him? I don't live in Buffalo. I don't listen to sports radio. I don't even own a Bills jersey (although Byrd may be the first guy in a long time worthy enough of plunking down $100 plus for his jersey). At least we are figuring out who the realist Bills fans are, and who the delusional Bills fans are.
  9. Now Trent Edwards is a victim? Did you know that after being named the Bills starting QB in 2007, Edwards left Buffalo and to go play golf 24/7? He said as much in an interview I heard on WFAN in NYC. Anybody who puts his golf game above learning to play qb THAT early in his career is a chump and deserves the criticisms after the complete meltdown and failure of a once promising career. This man is not a victim. It's so sad to watch Bills fans latching onto a qb who has no heart or passion for the game. Trent Edwards is not a victim, we Bills fans are a victim of having to endure the pain of watching such a weak-armed poser who can never seem to get his team into the endzone and who could care less about Buffalo, the Bills or football in general.
  10. This is my other big BIG problem with Trent Edwards. I think he lacks a passion for the game of football. I think it's the reason he lost the locker room in favor of Fitzpatrick last season. In this one reply, you sound like you have more passion and love for the game than Trent Edwards has ever exhibited as a Buffalo Bill.
  11. For everyone that was wondering why I made this thread...this persons reply is why. Because after 30 NFL starts under his belt, there are still fans here that talk about Trent Edwards as if he they've never watched a single game he's played in. Comparing Drew Brees' arm to Trent Edwards' arm is so ridiculous that it doesn't even deserve a serious answer. My mission the last few years was to rip on Dick Jauron at every turn until he was out on his ear. Well thankfully he's gone, so now my mission is going to be to ridicule Trent Edwards (and his Dakota Fanning delivery) every chance that I get. BTW, I loved the "he's better than Jamarcus Russell" reply the best!
  12. You gave me a fairy tale. You also amazingly had the balls to compare Edwards' arm to Brady, Manning and Brees'... ...and you say that I'm terrible at online debates???? Please stop digging and just try to answer my original question. Since he compares to Brady, Manning and Brees then you should be able to name about 20 starting qbs Trent has a better arm than. Checkmate?
  13.   Your little "knowledgeable" talk up of Trent was priceless. Thanks, I needed a laugh man.
  14. This isn't the 80's where you can get by on fooling defenses with short, "west coast offense" style passing alone. The "successful" part of his career was over for Trent Edwards once the book was out that he can't beat you deep. Seriously, please tell me how many games you think that Trent has one because of his arm. I'm thinking maybe 5 or 6 games with only half of those being NFL quality defenses. This is out of 30 starts by the way. Least of his problems? Sorry to strongly disagree, but arm strength is this guy's #1 problem.
  15. has a better arm than... Yes it's a cruel point to make. But the Trent Edwards' crowd around here had it coming. I predict this noodle-armed wuss is gonna be taken out of his misery and mercifully cut. At least he can continue to devote his full time to his true passion golf, and no longer have to pretend to like playing in the NFL.
  16. Al Davis? Maybe back in 1983, but now?
  17. Agreed! I think we've all pretty much have had enough of watching Trent Edwards fail. Any fans still holding out hope for him is in denial at this point. I'm a Bills fan, I want to watch them score touchdowns this season. I would absolutely love it if the Bills gave Troy Smith a shot. He's athletic and his arm has got to be at least twice as good as Edwards.
  18. Stop what? You don't think this was done intentionally? Sorry, but McChrystal doesn't strike me as a guy who's so clueless that he wouldn't know the blowback of comments such as these. Here's a few of your "music" magazine covers... http://raiseyerfists.files.wordpress.com/2...ma-rs-cover.jpg http://thejailbreak.com/wp-content/uploads...stone-cover.jpg http://www.dailystab.com/blog/wp-content/u...stone-cover.jpg If McChrystal thinks his troops are being vietnam-ed by this administration then this is the perfect outlet for him.
  19. Sounds like McCrystal is the one saying "see ya". He figured the best way to show support for his troops was to expose the clowns who are in charge of running this country. There's no way I believe that McCrystal wanted to remain at his current position for much longer.
  20. "Obama clearly didn't know anything about him, who he was," the aide said. "Here's the guy who's going to run his [expletive] war, but he didn't seem very engaged. The boss was pretty disappointed." Obama not engaged in his job as president? What a shock! Anyone notice that he didn't take any of his comments back?
  21. Just randomly searched for and found a link that gave everyone a picture of the empty words of this absentee president. It's not hearsay, it's actual video of Obama saying he will not rest until the leaked has been plugged. So then he goes golfing 7 times, has a full schedule of parties and sporting events to attend? It's disgustingly irresponsible behavior no matter who is blogging about it. Wouldn't it be nice if the media would call him out on his fulltime golfing schedule during an ongoing event he compared to 911, an ongoing event that he described as the worst environmental disaster in America's history? Obama needs to either start doing his job or resign.
  22. He's golfed 7 freaking times since the oil rig exploded. Been partying like it's 1999. So his chief of staff then has the balls to go on TV and criticize the head of BP for taking a rest?????? Obama is an absentee president, just like he was an absentee Illinois congressman, and just like he was an absentee US Senator. America was warned that the guy was just not into doing ACTUAL WORK. How about Obama sit his lazy butt down at a desk and create a task force of oil experts instead of just relying on BP to get the job done? How about not resting until the leak has been plugged like he promised America in his speech?... http://scottystarnes.wordpress.com/2010/05...him-in-the-ass/ Just like Carter, America will not rest until he's out of office.
  23. Trent Edwards has the worst arm in the league. It's a mystery how he continues to maintain such a wide fan base here.
  24. Was that followed by their proclamation that they're all racists?
  25. It would have been nice if he'd at least address the disaster of his presidency. Anybody think Guiliani would have waited 2 months to speak with the CEO of BP? Think he would have turned down offers for oil skimmers? Think he would have been golfing and partying during these 2 months?
