  1. No I said "fire in the belly." You're the one who started to equate "fire in the belly" with yelling and screaming. Edwards has butterflies in the belly.
  2. Yes, that's what I meant. Although I think we'll be more around the picks 6 through 9 range again in 2011.
  3. Joe Montana had more competitive drive in his pinky finger than Trent Edwards has in his whole body. This comparison is ridiculous. Sorry, but it's going to be a long season for you trying to defend this wuss. BTW, I don't ever remember Joe Montana complaining about how "cold and damp" he was in trying explain away a tough loss against the Giants at the Meadowlands. Trent not only did that, but his competition was the freaking Cleveland Browns that day!
  4. Statements like this remind me of when people were comparing Jauron to Belichick. Stop deluding yourself, Edwards is one of the worst QBs in the NFL.
  5. The Bills need to keep that pick in hopes of moving up for Locker next year.
  6. Victim? Save the tears. The only victims here are Bill fans who will be subjected to yet another year of watching Trent Edwards under center.
  7. The list of successful NFL QBs who were very low key is a short one. Today the only one I see that would fit that mold would be E. Manning. P. Peyton, Brady, Brees, Rivers, Favre are all guys that are passionate and fiery about the game of football. I have never seen Edwards exhibit any sort of passion for the game of football. I can see that the excuse train for Edwards is back in service. And here I thought there was going to be no more arguing over Edwards' utter failure as a starting QB. It's cool to be psyched about the drafted players, but please don't fool yourself into thinking that Edwards is ever going to amount to anything more than a career back up. Let's please keep it real here.
  8. Man I hope he is wrong on that one. It's clear to me that Trent Edwards has no fire in the belly and he absolutely sucks in bad weather. In the end it really doesn't matter since neither guy is the long term answer.
  9. After Gailey watches how well Fitzpatrick threw the ball in bad weather against Indy and then pops in a few tapes of the incredible shrinking Trent Edwards in bad weather games, there is no doubt that Fitzy will beat out Edwards when the two finish to a draw after training camp. In Fitzpatrick, Gailey will see a QB with fire, mobility and competitiveness. All things that Edwards lacks. This is why I think his teammates dumped Edwards in favor of Fitzy. Edwards doesn't have the drive or motivation it takes to be a winner in the NFL. Unless Fitzy gets injured, Edwards aint gonna be our starter in 2010.
  10. http://www.gbnreport.com/2011projection.html The Bills will have a 6 to 8 win season so I doubt very much they will have the first pick overall. It's too bad that they don't have an extra #1 pick for ammunition to trade up for Locker.
  11. He seriously gave Denver a B+???? This douche gets an F in draft grading.
  12. I'm hoping for John Skelton QB/Fordham in the fourth round. He's a big kid from Texas, with a big arm and who has some mobility. The guy did well in the East-West Shrine game. With Flacco's NFL success, Skelton seems worth a fourth round taker. FYI, the Bills did have him in for a visit. http://www.nypost.com/p/sports/more_sports...0ds6fSAE22GaC9O http://bleacherreport.com/articles/355120-...et-john-skelton
  13. My favorite part of the night was the "WE'RE DOOMED" look on Tom Jackson's face when the Broncos picked Tebow. Then watching the other guys on the panel trying their best to console him.
  14. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up.... http://www.wfan.com
  15. #1 player on GBN Report board... http://www.gbnreport.com/updatedtop100.html
  16. Could Cleveland take Spiller here?
  17. His head coach Bill Walsh (smarter than good ol' Joe Montana) said that Trent Edwards was going to be really good.
  18. I've got a feeling that the Bills will have a lot of teams calling them for that #9 pick.
  19. If anyone needed proof, LaCanfora just said "Don't rule out the Patriots drafting Tim Tebow at #22." Want more dumb stuff said on TV today? Herman Edwards was asked to predict the surprise draft pick of the day...Herm said "Pittsburgh will draft Tim Tebow." Earth day? More like Moron Day.
  20. Hey wait, the Jags might pick Tim Tebow just to spite Buffalo doing them like that!
  21. Thanks man! As the kids like to say, just trying to keep it real.
  22. I can't see them picking him at #9. Maybe the Bills and the Texans have a deal in place that if Spiller is still there, Texans get #9 (Spiller) and the Bills get #20 (Tebow) and Texan's #51. I'll bet that the Texans don't want to lose Spiller to their divisional rival Jaguars.
  23. I'm thinking that Bill Belichick has a better read on Tebow than you... http://content.usatoday.com/communities/th...-of-tim-tebow/1 I think the Bills will finally become a winner if they're lucky enough to land Tebow in a trade up into the last first.
  24. First round DT/NTs scare the heck out of me. I remember reading an article a couple of weeks ago that showed the horrible success rates of first round DT/NTs. That there was something about these large men getting so much money that a lot of the time it saps their hunger for the game. I have a feeling that Williams could be one of those kind of guys. If they pick him at #9, I hope I'm wrong.
  25. You're reading to much into it. He said round 1, not round 5 which is Campbell's value. It's obvious to me and should be to everyone that the Bills are going to try to trade back into the first to pick Tebow. Lomabardi was just on the pre-draft edition of the NFL network stating more than a few times that Buffalo really liked Tebow and that he thought they were going to make a push into the later part of the first round to get him.
