  1. Exactly. There's a reason why the Ravens drafted Oher. They already knew that Gaither was a lazy guy who would shut his promising play down once he got the chance to sign a big fat contract. Now they're trying to act like Gaither is some sort of highly valuable commodity that should demand a high pick or player from Buffalo. Nice try Ozzie. Some things are just too good to be true. One of those is the opportunity to trade for a franchise type LT by only giving up a 2nd round draft pick. If Gaither is considered a lazy guy now, just think how he'll be when he gets paid millions in a signing bonus for a team that is years from contending. If I'm Buffalo I'd say thanks, but no thanks to Gaither. Been there done that.
  2. From the Profootballtalk link... "Brady said his offseason priorities have changed from the time early in his career when he worked out at the team facilities religiously." Trent Edwards' biggest mistake was taking off as soon as the season was finished. Once I heard he did that I was furious and I knew he was a first class douche who would never amount to anything in the NFL. I can't wait till Trent is booted from the team before the 2010 season. That will be the big final symbolic flush of the Dick "substitute teacher" Jauron era.
  3. I think Lynch is a young and immature guy. The troubles he's gotten himself into have shown this to be the case. I respect the effort he gives our team when he's on the field though. I think Marshan would thrive if he were in a situation where there was a team full of veteran players with a solid coaching staff. Unfortunately that wasn't the case in Buffalo when he was drafted. He's ultimately responsible for his own actions, but the piss poor coaching and lack of leadership along the way didn't help him either. So it's a mixed bag we've got now. What I think will eventually happen is that Marshawn gets traded to a championship contending team who loses it's starting RB in training camp or early in the season for a conditional 3rd rounder (performance could bump it up to a 2nd). If there's no injury situation then obviously he stays put here for another season, but with hopefully much better coaching and a refocused, reenergized player out to prove all the doubters wrong.
  4. MSNBC's biggest dumb**** is frustrated the radical muslim terrorist wasn't a conservative white guy... http://newsbusters.org/blogs/scott-whitloc...bomber-muslim-0 Warning: the hypocrisy is a category five on this one!
  5. Given their track record of Fort Hill, the underwear bomber and Bloomberg's quote, I don't think that it was an intentional deflection. However, if it was intentional then I'd give them props for doing so.
  6. It's not about white people feeling offended. It's about an incompetent government which is more worried about being PC than it is in protecting Americans no matter which race or ethnic background they are from. For the authorities to assume the guy in that very grainy video was white is astonishingly reckless given the grave consequences of the guy getting away as a result of misinformation. The only one looking amateurish is Napolitano and the guy who hired her.
  7. Assuming the guy in the ridiculously blurry video was white? That it he probably acted alone. That the US Secretary of Homeland Security described was someone who was amateurish and that this was a one-off attempt? http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/worl...icle7114495.ece That NYC mayor first inclination was to describe the suspect to CBS news as "somebody with a political agenda that doesn't like the health care bill or something." http://newsbusters.org/blogs/brent-baker/2...ad-about-obamac Anyone else feel not very secure when the Tea Party people are the first suspects in terrorist attacks now?
  8. Crist is an empty suit, hanging on a clothes line, twisting and turning with every directional change of the wind. He has no convictions, no principles, yet he wants the people of Florida's vote to send him to the Senate where he'll be responsible for voting on important bills that will effect the future of the state and the entire country. The guy is a spineless embarrassment. He's been one since he hugged the great almighty one. He's clearly never recovered from that. Like the spineless Spector, he bought into the MSM and liberal bull**** that the Obama democratic wave was going to be here for a very long time. The sorry *** saps didn't realize that it wouldn't even last till the 2009 November elections. For once in his life, Crist should have been a man, admitted defeat to Rubio and moved on to another chapter of his spineless life. Americans wants someone who believes in something, you worm.
  9. The United States of America is one nation, not a "plethora of different cultures." This is not the world's commune. It used to be that becoming an American was something of great importance and taken very seriously by immigrants of past generations. I'm glad that Arizona had the balls to actually start taking the word "illegal" seriously. Now we can have the debate on what it means to be an American. Do we enforce laws to protect our sovereignty? Does our government protect Americans or do they protect illegal aliens? The MSM will of course make this about racism, but they will epically fail. We have laws here, we are an english speaking nation. Americans are finally waking up to what's been going on. Politicians running for office in 2010 had best think long and hard on which side they'll take on this issue. We aren't going to be electing anyone who supports the further deconstruction of a great nation. If you want to be an American, better take it seriously and learn the language just like all of our ancestors did with pride. If you don't feel like doing that, then leave. It's May Day people... http://michellemalkin.com/
  10. The Jets will crumble under the weight of expectations this year. If not for the lay downs by a couple of teams last season, the Jets wouldn't have even made the playoffs. Yes, they did make the most of it once they were in, but now it's as if the 2009 season didn't matter. That they were now at the top of the AFC with the Colts. Don't forget, the Bills beat them last year. So now the Jets have to wear the "top contender" belt in the media capitol of the world with the same deficiency they had last year, a very mediocre offense with and inaccurate QB. Every little and big bad thing thing that happens will be blown up to epic proportions. The Jets never live up to high expectation levels. They have an awesome defense, but that offense and the NFL media world's TMZ treatment will be their downfall. Prediction: 9-7, no playoffs.
  11. Here's a cartoon on the subject... http://mysite.verizon.net/resuqbf4/sitebui...20100426-AZ.jpg
  12. So says the President of the United States who's job it is to protect Americans... http://michellemalkin.com/2010/03/29/the-d...rizona-rancher/ I must have missed Obama's soaring speech vowing to seek out justice for Rob Krentz's senseless murder at the hands of illegal aliens. This is a seriously sick and twisted President we have.
  13. That's bullcrap! "Soft" games... 2009 Jets w/ rookie QB twice Bucs Browns Panthers Texans Jaguars Chiefs Colts 2nd and 3rd string in a blizzard 2010 Jags Chiefs Bears Lions I think the Bills will be competitive (that's what my hope is, but I have a hard time seeing them get to even 5 wins with the 2010 schedule). This is truly a rebuilding year and the expectations should be pretty low considering they have the worst QB situation in the league.
  14. This team could very well have the first pick overall. They have to play Pats, Jets and Dolphins twice. All teams are better than the Bills and they also have their teams well coached and poised for playoff runs. The out of division games are not much easier. I could see a three win season and a top three pick. That's ok though, the Dolphins had a one win season and were able to turn it around and win the division the next year. I see this as the Bills' game plan. 2010 is about seeing who can play and who needs to go before the new Mallett, Locker or Luck (hopefully playoff filled) era of the Buffalo Bills.
  15. I think Lynch will eventually be traded to a serious contending team that loses it's starting running back either in training camp or early in the season. Probably for a conditional second or third round pick.
  16. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buffalo,_New_York Government... "Buffalo has been dominated by the Democratic Party for the last half-century" BTW, yes I've been to Chicago. The city itself is fine, what might be considered a problem are those darn "organized communities" surrounding the city which are in such rough of shape that they apparently need the assistance of the National Guard. Obama really did an amazing job there.
  17. A conditional 3rd rounder in 2011. If Marshawn has over 1200 yards then it becomes a 2nd rounder. Take it or leave it Green Bay. Nix is not a guy who's going to just hand over Lynch at this point in time, because he knows that Lynch is at the top of the list of RBs that contending teams will trade for in the event of an injury to their starter.
  18. This must be a fake story. Not too long ago, President Obama cleaned up the streets of Chicago with his legendary community organizing. This is why he was qualified to become President of the United States. It was because of the great job he did in Chicago's communities early in his career. The democratic party has been in control of Chicago since forever and they clearly know what they're doing, right? Same thing with the city of Detroit. They're democratically controlled and are indeed thriving. I can't wait till Obama is done transforming this country into the very image of Chicago.
  19. Give me a break, Trent Edwards loved the Buffalo Bills and put the team first so much that after the 2008 season he left Buffalo for Cali and the golf course for three months. Not good for the spanking new and inexperienced starting QB of the Buffalo Bills. Manning, Brady and Brees never left their town for so long early in their career like that. They worked out and studied film because they love football and wanted to become world champions one day. Enough with the crocodile tears for this jackass wanna be golfer.
  20. Wrong. A couple of years from now P. Manning and Brady will both be on their way out the door while the Bills should be on schedule to make a charge. If the Bills find their QB next year and solidify their o line, this team will have around a six year window to make some hay. All while Spiller will still be in his prime. Please tell us who you would have taken at #9 instead of Spiller. You really should go on record now since you are so strongly against their pick.
  21. I seriously don't see how anyone could look at video of Spiller and still be wishing they had drafted a right tackle in Bulaga. Smart teams draft the best player available in the first round. Just like the Bills should have drafted either Orakpo or Oher over Maybin last year, or Ngata over Whitner a few years ago. Please give us the name of the guy the Bills passed on in the first that would have been worth passing over another Chris Johnson. Whichever name you do come up with will have big question marks as compared to an almost can't miss guy like Spiller. A guy that can score points from anywhere on the field without a "perfect hole" to run through. This team is not a player or two away. It will still be a few years until they are serious contenders to a world championship. By then F. Jackson will be too old, Marshawn will be in jail and the Bills will be thanking Buddy for drafting a non-need awesome value guy in Spiller.
  22. Please feel free to provide us with any evidence of Trent liking to play for the Buffalo Bills, or even liking the city of Buffalo itself.
  23. Beautifully put. He may say that he loves football, but I just don't see any evidence of it.
  24. Thanks for doing the homework and proving I was right!
  25. You do know that Fitzpatrick had more completions, yards and TDs than Edwards don't you? Yes, he had one more start than Edwards, but that only tells you that BOTH guys are on the same crappy level. I'd start the guy who actually has some competitive fire, you can have wuss boy.
