I mean he and the Jets could suck. But it’s just weird how much stock some fans put in practice reports (we are all excited). I just remember when I played, we would have terrible practices, coaches would scream at us and make us run until we couldn’t walk, then they would cancel the next practice because we suck. Then, we would have a great practice and they loved us again. I dont think the Bills in the 90s even practiced in training camp haha.

Did you not think they would be motivated? Fans overrate this stuff. These guys’ jobs are on the line every game. But I agree Tre and Micah seem like top 100 players. But I’m sure there are players on every team that think they are being snubbed.

I generally agree but 52%, 10 tds, 14 ints, 173 passing yards/ game, and a 67.9 QBs rating doesn’t scream great passer. Hopefully with better protection and receivers, this will improve. I do think some fans live in glasses houses. I do think the real interesting thing will be how both of these guys are coached against. I imagine they will both get spies, take contain pass rushes, and be forced to take shorter stuff.

Reminds me of a thread some posters started laughing at Mahomes for having a bad training camp practice last year. its great the access we have but it’s so overblown. You try things in practice that you might not do in a game. Also, it’s the time to make mistakes. And as we see every year, preseason really has no impact on the regular season. But it’s still football and it’s awesome.

Devil’s advocate: Allen played similarly and Jackson played on a playoff team. I do think Allen looks more of natural qb but without his rushing, his season would have been pretty awful. Both guys need to become much better passers.

This is what terrifies me about him. Some people just anointed after last year. Dude has a ton of ability but there’s a reason he was cut here, not claimed, and didn’t really play at Bama. I worry that in a big spot, he will have a huge drop. And I bet he does because drops get in your head as a receiver. But on physical skills, he’s probably our most talented receiver. Takes a lot more than that though.

I mean, what is he supposed to say? He sucks and got overpaid? Between the injuries, PED suspension, and lack of production (19 sacks in 5 years), I’m not that excited for him. but I guess he would like finding money in your laundry at this point. I do think this defense is a really good pass rusher from being an elite group. I predict 5 to 7 sacks from Oliver, which would be a good rookie season.

So after one season and 4 training camp practices, it’s just over??? I mean I hope Allen is the truth but how many times have you anoint Bills QBs over the year? Just like it’s stupid to call a rookie QBs a bust after one year, it’s just as dumb to say one is a franchise qb. Rosen and Allen basically had the same passing stats and Arizona was a disaster. I think in a a more stable situation, Rosen can be a good nfl qb.

God, I hate training camp and stupid injuries. I was young for it but Club Marv might be the way to go.

As of right now, Fitz is the second best qb in the division. Obviously the young guys can pass him but Fitz is solid. Honestly, their qb situation is pretty solid. There’s no better guy to learn from than Fitz. And if both aren’t the answer, they draft another guy next year. That’s the thing with Fitz. He is capable of carving up top defense. He also just as capable as throwing 4 ints against a terrible one. He is Brett Farve without the arm strength. Yeah, definitely smart to say this now.

Failing EJ Manuel would have the best qb rating on the Bills right now. ? And the answer to this question is hell no. The Watkins group was better. So were Evans and TO. Hell, until proven different, the SJ group was better. We have a bunch of 2,3, and 4s. Hopefully, we have a better qb than those groups. Great qbs prop up their receivers.

Yeah based on his history, I can’t imagine RI doing something like that. He’s a stand up guy. And the Jags won’t trade him but he would be awesome here. I’d give up a 2nd. Very few qbs get hotter than Fitz. Unfortunately, very fewer can get colder. Fitz has actually gotten better later in career. He just doesn’t have the arm to do it consistently. Love that guy though!
