Bills *almost* sign P Britton Colquitt
C.Biscuit97 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We just drafted our highest qb in franchise history. We shouldn’t even have to worry about a P. I do admire how dedicated Bills fans are but I would like to build a good enough offense where I could care less about a P. -
Florio: Texans "New Look No GM" Grades an "F"

Fuller is made of glass and Stills is way better than Coutee. I think Stills was a throw in anyways but he is a solid player. Weren’t they 11-5 last year? -
Yeah, clearly the guy who wants the qb with a much better qb rating rating, more wins, started a playoff game, and was a backup on SB teams over a guy with a 67 career QBs rating and 2 wins is clearly the unhinged one. I am the voice of reason in a sea of craziness. If the situations were reversed, bills homer would be laughing at replacing a seasoned vet like Hoyer for a “scrub” like Barkley,
-
Correct me I’m wrong but isn’t he the one you brought both of those guys to Buffalo?
-
And if anyone has shown he knows a lot about offense, it’s McBeane. But I’m over it. For some weird reason, this franchise is good at finding rbs.

Anyone know how much players on the practice squad make?

By being super talented at football. -
It’s a business. And let’s not pretend Like McCoy is some Saint. Dude ruined Avengers. Yeldon is the definition of meh.
-
I mean I would have traded him years ago. But I thought he looked good this preseason. Had a higher YPC than Singletary. If they weren’t getting anything for him, I would have like to see him benhimd this rebuilt oline. I would have cut Yeldon way before McCoy. Well, hopefully, DS is really good.

Good question. Saw this: https://3downnation.com/2018/03/07/what-top-cfl-free-agents-got-paid/ There are a lot of basketball players who could make good money overseas but would rather play in the NBA G league because they are closer to their dream. Could be the case here. -
That’s fair but why keep him all offseason? If I’m the Texans, I give up a 7th instead of trading for garbage Carlos Hyde.

Since Buffalo isn't signing Tyree Jackson to their PS. . .

And it’s preseason so I take it with a grain of salt. But Vikes fans wanted him instead of Sean Mannion or whoever he is, -
Barkley has a noodle arm. I really liked Barkley in his draft. My favorite qb. So I watched his nfl career and he’s just not good enough. Say what you want to about Hoyer but he is HOFer compared to Barkley. I get we’re Bills fans but man do we love to overrate our players. I don’t remember any Barkley love before we got him. Now, he’s a great backup. Ftr, I’m fine with Barkley but I’m not going to pretend there aren’t better options. Hoyer is a better option. But what does stupid NE know? I have right opinions that don’t follow the pack. Been that way since third grade and the teacher asked if Ben Franklin was ever a President. I was the only one who said he wasn’t. Please tell me how Barkley is better. Because there are no stats that come close to showing that. Hoyer has won more games and started a playoff game. Hoyer has backed up Tom Brady. There is literally not one piece of evidence that show Barkley is a better qb. Find me some. This is is my Ben Franklin 2.0.

Devin Singletary, welcome to RB1 of the Buffalo Bills
C.Biscuit97 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I will say, I hated the idea of drafting a rb that high. If DS becomes a quality starting rb, I was wrong. Still think hey could have gotten something for McCoy or traded him earlier when he had higher value, -

Man, I really had high hopes for Tyree being on the PS. I do like Sloter. -
Crazy thing is one of the worst injuries I ever had in any sport happens in a relay race in high school. Was smoking everyone (obviously ?) and blow out my hip. Had to crawl to make the handoff and we finished in last. End of track for me after that. Not sure of my 100 time but best I ever got in the 40 was 4.5 (and I was a slacker haha). Physical ability was never my problem and the players I tend to not like are those types. Effort is a skill.
-
It blows my mind the McGod couldn’t get a draft pick for a rb who had multiple teams wanting to sign him.

You make some decent points but a lot of this is self inflicted. They gave up what teams give up for a franchise qb for a guy who has never been an all pro. If Watson (who I love but is smaller) or Watt (gets hurt), they could be really bad. It’s great to have a LT but not at that price. Fins made an amazing trade. And this is the problem with giving a coach too much power. O’Brien doesn’t care if the Texans suck in a few years but he will have been fired. -
In my day, pre Achilles tear, I would have beat him. ?

So he did what he did at the combine. What a bunch of idiots for taking him in the first place. -
Deon Lacy- Claimed by Dolphins

Doesn’t this happen all the time? Not trying to be a jerk but the Fins will have cut players claimed. And so much for the Fins tanking! -
The Bills picked the wrong QB
C.Biscuit97 replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Still rather have Tyree. Plus, this guy went to St Francis. ? -
I never got the Ray Ray love. He wasn’t even the best slot receiver on his college team. He’s a dime a dozen type player,
-
Yes, I would rather have the guy that has a 83 qb rating, won 16 games in his career, and started a playoff game than a guy with a 68.3 qb rating and won 2 games in his career. Is this ever a serious question? and I know it won’t happen but in a perfect world, you should always be looking to upgrade your roster. Hoyer is better than Barkley and it’s not debatable.

Fitzpatrick officially named starter in Miami
C.Biscuit97 replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Fins did Rosen a favor by not starting him right away. Poor Fitz is going to destroyed.
